When I Give Up

When I Give Up
Chapter 17 The Rejection

"What's this?" maher Abdullah asked with stifled emotions. He was really very uncomfortable to see a scene before his eyes, where Praja Wijaya, a young, successful, and wealthy businessman, knelt before Ardina.

Praja Wijaya stood up from his position. He faced Maher Abdullah and then said,

"Ardina is my wife, Mr. Maher. And I want him back to me." Praja answered while looking at Ardina who threw her face in the other direction.

"What are you talking about, Mr. Praja? Ardina has been a widow for a long time and I will stand by her. So please, you can get out of here."

"I wouldn't have left if it wasn't my own wife who said it. He loves me so much. Didn't Din?"

The man grabbed the hand of the hijab-wearing woman but unfortunately was immediately pushed aside by her.

"Go sir. I don't want any trouble in this place."

"Din's? You kicked me out?" Praja gawking in disbelief.

"Yes, like me you never considered all this time. So please give me some privacy." The woman folded her hands in front of her chest with teary eyes.

"Well, Mr. Praja heard, right? Ardina just doesn't want to see you again. So please get out of here."

"Sorry Mr. Maher, we're family. So you don't have to interfere in our affairs." Praja does not care what Maher Abdullah says. He just wants to get his wife back.

"Heh, of course I need to interfere. Ardina came to this place along with me, she is my subordinate, and also she is also my future wife. You're the one who should know yourself."

Maher Abdullah seemed to harden his jaw as it began to lure.

"Wife-to-be. Mr Maher knows the consequences of saying such a thing to a man's wife huh? That's a violation sir!"

"Already! Everyone please come out of this room. None of you have the right to be in my private area. Sorry, Mr. Maher and Mr. Praja. The door is over there" Ardina said, pointing to the exit.

Maher Abdullah walked out of the room feeling self-conscious. But not for Praja Wijaya, he must be there because he has rights to his wife.

"Din's? Where is your love that you once were proud of me. I'm sorry and I miss you too. Is that not enough?"

"Pak Praja's. Don't embarrass yourself. Please get out of here." Maher Abdullah said from the door.

"Please get out Mr. Praja. And yes, we're done. I'm gonna have a break so please come out. Don't forget to close the door from the outside."

"Din?"

Ardina no longer wanted to argue. He left the man with a sickly heart. His tears he held as hard as he could not spill into his defense.

Praja Wijaya sighed. He stayed there with a feeling of longing. He only realized that the pain he inflicted on his wife was so intense and difficult to cure.

Ardina shrank her tears and immediately approached the food that the waiter had just delivered a moment ago. He opened the packaging until the smell of the food poured out into the entire room.

So delicious and tempting to taste. He also eats with his shoulders that sometimes shake to hold his cry. And it can not be separated from the sad gaze of Praja Wijaya.

The man's hands clenched. It felt like he really wanted to go there and give her a hug but what a power, Ardina was not willing to forgive him.

At least, you've enjoyed my gift Din. I might see you from far away, he said.

"Be aware of something Mr. Praja. Ardina doesn't want to know you anymore who might have given her a lot of injuries."

Praja Wijaya looked at the man who was still in front of Ardina's room.

"And you should also be aware of one thing Mr. Maher, your wives are already too many in your palace. Is that not enough, huh?!"

"Haha. If I can make them happy, why not? Ardina will be queen of my palace. So, just let my secretary serve me to something very personal!"

Bugh

Praja Wijaya unknowingly directly gave a single blow to the middle-aged man's stomach.

"So your mouth, Maher! My ardina will never leave it to anyone. He is mine that God has bound me with."

"Haha! Loser guy. Our cooperation plan is off!" Maher immediately left Praja with a very angry feeling.

"Whatever! I don't care about jerks!"
