Part 74 ~ Wedding Sunscreen

For the first time Diana was not excited when she met Ezra tonight. The girl came to dinner together because of Haura's invitation, not for anyone else especially if Ezra was the one.

The girl kept her head down, eating her dinner even though she had no taste at all. For the first time in his life, he was an insider to someone else. Not because of his faith, but his religion.

"Why shut up, Diana?" asked Haura who was strange with her friend's behavior.

"It's okay, brother, I'm just not feeling well. But ...." Diana's words stopped as the back of her hand immediately landed on her forehead without permission.

"Your body temperature is normal!" said Ezra.

"Know!" Getting rid of Ezra's hands was quite rude, making the man of course surprised instead of playing.

Diana's been looking very story-driven, but tonight's been very moody.

"You should have refused if you weren't feeling well, Diana, I'd be bad."

"Just relax, brother, I can still survive for the next 3 days." Trying to smile even though it feels very difficult.

Blame Diana herself who was too baper with Ezra's words to her mother who promised to get married, even though the girl knew very well that everything was just a charade.

"Rome home, I don't want a dead man's child at the dinner table" said Aaron. "Antar Diana's coming home, Ezra! Your house is in the same direction!" aaron's orders.

However, regardless of what the handlebars were, Ezra immediately stood up and pulled Diana's hand. "Come on!" Just keep walking to be in the restaurant parking lot, and during that time Diana still did not greet Ezra as usual.

"You really sick?" ezra asked after being in the car with Diana.

"No."

"Diana?"

"Run Sir! I'm lazy to make a fuss with anyone!" diana said without looking at Ezra's handsome face.

The man only let out a long sigh, driving his car at medium speed towards Diana's house which was further from his house.

Silence accompanied their journey so that being on the car was very long. Ezra occasionally glanced at Diana who seemed to close her eyes. For some reason, but Ezra felt strange and a little sad not to see the cheerful attitude of the girl who was very similar to her lover.

The man slowed down the speed of his car after getting close to Diana's house. Although the car had stopped, Ezra stopped to unlock it, making Diana of course turn to look at Ezra.

"Who are you angry with? Me?"

"Nothing!"

"Tomorrow I'll take you home as my lover!"

"Loof doesn't bring your real lover? She's much prettier and of course the dream daughter-in-law, the doctor sir's parents couldn't possibly refuse!"

"I don't have a boyfriend, my girlfriend ...." Ezra stopped his sentence when he came to his senses. The man knelt down on the chair to grab the bone white pag paper in the back seat and then gave it to Diana.

"Wear when you meet my parents!" ezra said, after opening the car door.

"Thank you." Without looking again, Diana entered her house.

The beautiful girl's steps stopped when she saw her father and her mother standing in front of the stairs with different expressions from each other.

"When did you go with your girlfriend?" ask Diana's father to hold his chest.

"Don't you guys agree I'm dating Ezra sir?"

"That's if the proposal comes this week, Diana!"

"He will come with his parents. The doctor is not the kind of person who likes to break appointments."

Just passing by because his mood is not good, maybe besides insects, he will come months soon.

The girl threw the paper bag on the bed so that it fell off. Diana's forehead frowned at the sight of a hijab and a robe with matching colors, especially those colors were her favorite.

"She's gonna want me to be like the girl at the mall." As if unconcerned, Diana threw him onto the sofa and landed his body safely on the bed.

Closing her eyes was Diana's only choice to take off, in contrast to Ezra who stopped his car on the side of the road after being away from Diana's house.

It was hard to deny, Ezra's heart started to move to like another girl. Maybe because Diana was so similar to her lover back then that Ezra was easy to fall in love with.

And yes, Ezra was defeated by his heart. Soon the man will hurt a girl by making her a shadow of the past when longing.
