Chapter 23: A Visit to the House of the Knight Faction

By late afternoon we had a lot of birds to take to the tavern on the first floor, the owner gave us a promised sum of money including a free dinner for the day.

Everything really feels good.

Karina started a conversation with what we saw before coming here.

"Many players are victims of PK, should we help too?"

"Against fellow players I think it's very difficult, they probably already have a high enough level of everyone, especially the booty they take strengthens them as well."

"From what I've heard, PK is led by some powerful people and they take the 40th floor as their headquarters."

"What did they do that for?"

"I think to add to their base is getting bigger."

I raised my hand to order more meat to enjoy, the three girls who had been deliberating looked at me lazily.

"You're not interested in PK Yuto at all?"

I immediately denied it.

"Of course I'm interested, they must have a lot of treasure to themselves, if robbing from them, I'm sure no one will mind."

I chose to ignore Mofu and Rebecca's comments just like that to go back to eating my order. The PKs, knights and adventurers, the bigger the third day. I don't know if I should be happy or not remember each one of them contributing to making anyone reach the next floor.

The announcement went into the window and it showed that the 70th floor had opened.

All the players around us were screaming in spirit and making their opinions.

"Then the knight faction led by Miss Alice, their achievements are very fast.We don't even have to wait for years to return to the real world."

"Right, but unfortunately the knights and adventurers are not getting along."

"You know how else from the start it would be weird if two different things could come together."

It caught my attention, I wanted to ask further but chose to undo it. If there's anything I have to ask Alice's own question is the right choice.

We started chatting with the light speakers, taking a bath in the public bath before returning to our house on the 30th floor and sleeping quietly. It was only the next day that we visited the knight headquarters on the first floor which the white knights guarded in front of him.

One of the guards stopped us before he told his friend to report it to Alice first. After a while Alice herself appeared to greet us.

"It's good to have you guys stop by here, come in. We can relax in my room."

We were a little surprised by his hospitality so we could only agree and follow him to a room filled with soft sofas.

"Please be at home."

"I understand."

I jumped onto the sofa to lie there, Karina also did the same.

"Sunday."

Mofu obviously stopped us.

"You don't joke around like this."

"No problem, I don't mind."

I widened my hand to greet Mofu.

"From Mofu you can also lie here."

"Related."

Rebecca looked at me pale.

"When I was a maid, she used to hug me that way."

Alice tilted her head but I thought it was time to stop joking, a waiter began to put down the cup she was carrying while I began to explain my arrival.
