Episode 9

            Aleta whimpering.

Biyan. Staring at Aleta who was now closing both eyes, trying to endure the pain in her head right at the wound that was now no longer bleeding. The wet cloth that was still held Biyanlah who managed to stop him. Re-touch Aleta's wounds with Biyan's hand guided after making sure Aleta is fine.

Aleta herself actually refused when Biyan intended to treat it. He just wanted Biyan to drive him home. Dizzy feeling that hit him, unable for Aleta to walk alone up the stairs. Actually, he could have asked Bimo for help earlier, even the yellow-skinned man had offered himself. But unfortunately, the annoyance and hate that was very deep in Aleta due to her attitude, made Aleta reject outright. He did not want to continue being overwhelmed with anger just from seeing Bimo before him.

Biyan finished cleaning the wound on Aleta's head, grabbed the red medicine, and rubbed it with the help of a lighter. Biyan blew it slowly, then grabbed the plaster and closed it. Aleta opened both eyes, looking at Biyan who was still busy chatting with her wounds until she did not realize, both eyes were observing her handsome face.

Aleta stayed away when Biyan finished her treatment. Sitting quietly on the bed while watching Biyan walk towards the kitchen. His hand carried a basin of water and cloth that helped him treat Aleta's wounds. In just a few seconds, he came back to Aleta, looking for the plaster to not let go which made the heat invade Aleta's face.

“Why did you suddenly come?” ask Aleta. Hoping for Biyan's answer is the same as her hope that she will come, because she wants to meet him. Aleta clearly remembers Salsa's words about falling in love.

“If people fall in love, they can usually understand what their loved ones feel. Fear, anxiety, worry, as if knowing his loved ones why-why”

The words were ringing in Aleta's ears. His best friend, indeed enough salt acid to eat when talking about love. With a record five dates since High School, Salsa managed to make Aleta shake her head. I don't know when he's dating, which Aleta knows Salsa is only close to Aldo—, the former head of OSIS, said, Zein— classmate both but now has even moved because it follows his parents who moved jobs and Bryan—cowok descent German who is now studying in Jogja. The town that Salsa wants to go to just meet Bryan. I don't know what the relationship is at this time, which certainly Aleta often find him still contacting Bryan by phone.

Biyan looked at Aleta's face. He was still waiting for the answer to the question he asked. There was hope on his face that managed to paint a smile on Biyan's lips, turning his gaze to the tv near Aleta's mattress while reaching for the phone in his jacket pocket.

“Gue want to confirm, Reta has come home.”

Disappointed, definitely. That's what Aleta feels now. For a moment he turned his gaze in the other direction when Biyan's eyes looked back at him even if only briefly. He was again busy struggling in the world of his phone that made Aleta upset instead of playing.

Biyan was never there for him. That's what Aleta's been feeling all along. In any case, Biyan is not his, but Reta's. Just face it if he's present just for Reta. Reta?? Yeah, Aleta just remembered about that shitty chick. Aleta drew a glance back at Biyan who could now only see her from the side.

“Aleta where? Loe must know where he is, right?”

“That loe attitude, because care or just want to know?” Biyan asked without returning her gaze.

“He's my neighbor, it's only natural that I wonder why he didn't come home!”

“Why Just Reta, other neighbors why not worry?”

“Apaan anyway!” gerutu Aleta, down both feet from the wooden mattress and intend to rise to the kitchen. But unfortunately, the dizziness in his head still hit him. Aleta sat down again holding her head right to the left of Biyan who looked worried. But quickly, he hid his worried expression with a sigh.

“Loe's head is still dizzy, it's better to sleep first!”

            “Gue must go to hospital!”

Biyan turned his head, “Tadi invited for treatment do not want, now even want to go to the hospital!” Biyan misunderstood, that's what makes Aleta laugh funny.

“Do what a waste of money if there is already a doctor here,” said Aleta turned to look at Biyan who was still staring at him. “Gue want to see nyokap, said Mbok Minah who keeps him, Mama already aware.”

Biyan. The atmosphere was silent for a moment. There was no sound now other than a deliberate fan

            “Gue between!” biyan suddenly said.

“No need, I don't want to make Reta angry. I took a taxi at.”

“Reta will not be angry, even he will not know.”

            “Means?”

Biyan turned her eyes back to Aleta. There was seriousness in both of her eyes that Aleta managed to capture. Aleta knew clearly, Biyan knew where Reta was all night. Whatever, Reta always told him, even though sometimes his attitude hurt Biyan both physically and mentally, but the guy was always there for him. I don't know for what reason.

Aleta fell silent. The painful sight was seen directly by Aleta. There was a reta there, lying unconscious with an infusion hose going into his body through the wrist. His face was pale, his body looked weak and there was no one there. He himself, lamenting his own fate in unconsciousness.

Biyan present, a piece of paper from the hospital payment, looked as if she was held tightly. Slowly approaching Aleta who momentarily turned her gaze towards him, then looked back at Reta from the glass door. Biyan invites him in, but Aleta again refuses. Reta's relationship with him is not too good, making her reluctant to enter just say hello. Aleta was afraid that Reta would wake up while she was inside.

“Dia why?” Aleta asked after a while filling up with silence.

“She fainted when she saw her mother in jail.” Biyan turned her gaze to Reta. “Concidentally, I accompanied him after school yesterday.”

“His Kingdom?” ask Aleta. “Did he not come to see his wife?”

“For what?” asked Biyan flatly. “Have they not been divorced long enough. And maybe he won't see his wife again. Ex-wife more precisely.”

Aleta smiled cynically, turned around and chose to sit in a white wooden chair in front of Reta's room. Biyan followed Aleta through her two eyes. Stand up while folding both hands on the chest.

“Their infidelity really made the political world in an uproar.” Aleta looked at the nanar on the wall before her. “Up to the effect until now.”

            “Loe still grudge?”

Aleta drew her gaze to Biyan who was now standing slightly tilted with her right shoulder leaning against the wall. Right next to the door to Reta's room.

“If you were me, would you forgive everything so easily?” There was anger in both of Aleta's eyes that Biyan was able to catch. “Gue tau, loe stands on Reta's side, but that doesn't mean you close your eyes to the actual event, right?”

Biyan. Aleta's voice is now changing bitterly. There was a wound that had yet to heal completely that was heard from his voice. Vibration in his tone also makes Biyan convinced, that revenge still lives there. Although many years have passed, but still both Aleta and Reta, will not be able to make peace.

Aleta moved up, standing facing Biyan who was now standing straight. His gaze was still attached in the direction of Biyan's two eyes. The atmosphere of the hospital hallway that looked crowded with several visitors, patients and also the sisters and then passing by, seemed to be ignored by Aleta. Even when a patient walked while holding the pole and trying to call the passing nurse, did not make Aleta afraid to set her sights on Biyan now, also ignoring the situation.

“Perhaps your eyes are closed, but your heart is not, right?” ask Aleta flat. “Gue should go, nyokap I also treated here. He needs me more than your girlfriend who would rather ruin someone else's life, than help.”

Aleta stepped past Biyan, leaving the man who now turned to follow Aleta's footsteps with both eyes. There was no smile on his bibr. His eyes seemed to be flat with no meaning, letting Aleta go and not intending to block him as usual.
