Vee, My Beloved From the Past

Vee, My Beloved From the Past
it was Hideo

"Speak brother, I'm waiting for an explanation from you" whined Vee to Hideo who seemed cute to respond to him.

"I asked you, what do you want to hear from me?" back Vee gets a question from Hideo.

"You must know the cause of the animals' deaths, right?" ask the impatient Vee.

Hideo sighed, as if he could breathe with his nose alone.

While HoRoCi still stole a look at Hideo, like fear of something.

"Alright, I'll open my mouth to you this time" Hideo finally opened his voice.

Vee already had a serious face-to-face look to hear all of Hideo's talk.

"I absorbed the energy from the animals to replenish my own energy" Hideo said casually.

Vee was wide-eyed, so he remembered the kuntilanak that was sucked to ashes by Hideo on the first night they met that time.

"No need to be surprised and show such an ugly face, Vee" Hideo slithered, mocking the look of Vee's shocked face.

Vee regained his senses, immediately he shook his head to regain all his consciousness.

"Why did you do that, brother? Pity them" said Vee.

"But why did they not turn to ashes like kuntilanak's brother?" ask Vee who's back to being scared of Hideo.

"The animals still have Vee's body, while the kuntilanak has no body anymore" Hideo began his explanation.

"When I absorb all the energy from the animal, it will leave a dry body that has exhausted its energy to make it die".

"While I sucked all the energy out of the kuntilanak, it only left the ashes when the energy ran out because he had no more bodies to leave behind" Hideo said.

Vee was still digesting Hideo's words carefully, and he shuddered in horror.

"It must be very painful, sis" said Vee, imagining he was in a position like the animals.

"Rather than those animals going into your house and putting your life at risk, I would rather take their energy. So they're still useful even if they have to lose their lives, right, Vee?" said Hideo who was trying to make Vee remove the fear in his heart.

"But pity my brother. Besides, I've been sending you prayers like you were out of energy that day, brother" Vee said.

"Even I pray for you every time I finish praying. Is it less?" ask Vee who still feels sorry for the animals.

"If what I'm doing is doing more for you, why the hell, Vee?" ask Hideo.

Vee thought a little, it was true that what Hideo did was indeed beneficial for him.

So that the animals do not get into the house and bite it.

"Cg, yasudah. It's up to you, brother. Obviously, don't let you do that to me. Or I will not try to find a body that suits you" threatened Vee, because he was afraid of Hideo this time.

"What have you done for me besides praying every prayer, Vee?" ask Hideo.

"Even you do nothing to find out how and what kind of body is suitable for me. You have been doing very boring activities every day" said Hideo who did not feel the slightest fear of Vee's threat.

"If in the near future I am busy studying, brother. You know for yourself that I'm gonna want a National exam any minute. So, I focus first on my test" Vee replied not to lose.

"Yes, after you finish the exam, my time to find a suitable body is up too, Vee. Then everything will be in vain. I will still disappear like smoke whose fire has been extinguished" Hideo said without any overexpression.

Vee came to mind with Hideo's speech. It is true that the time is very near.

Of the four full moons that Sri told her, only two full moons were short. Even though two full moons have passed.

"It's Vee, there's no need to think too much about it. Because I am resigned. I realized that my time was not much anymore" Hideo said.

"And I have made clear whatever path of destiny God has given me. And in my last days, I just wanted to make a good impression on you".

"For when the time comes for us to part, you will only remember my kindness, Vee".

Hideo's words are deeply in Vee's heart. Hideo who usually likes to mock but really cares about it, so it feels very different when he has to say this seriously.

Instantly, Vee had even shed her tears.

"Hey, why are you crying Vee?" hideo asked in surprise, he felt unacceptable when a clear liquid fell on the pretty face of a Veeronica. Especially when Vee cries for it.

"I can't imagine that you're suddenly gone, brother. Because I'm used to your presence around me" said Vee, even more tears.

"It's Vee, don't you cry me. I myself have been sincere if indeed my time to enjoy this future world is only limited to four full moons" said Hideo who was confused how to stop Vee's crying.

"Vee, cook no food anyway?" lamented Varo who suddenly appeared in the living room.

"Why are you crying alone here, Vee?" asked Varo who was surprised to see Vee crying.

Vee is a girl who rarely cries.

If there is a problem and must be sad, usually Vee more express his feelings by shooting or hitting something. But not by crying.

Varo walked over to Vee and sat down next to him.

"You're heartbroken, aren't you?" ask Varo seriously.

Vee just shook his head, still unable to stop his tears which he also wondered why it could be as sad as hearing Hideo who was about to leave.

"Continue, why cry?" ask Varo.

"It's okay, sister, it's just the curiosity of Vee's friend who died" said Vee, but instead made Hideo snort miserably.

He's not dead yet, why would Vee want that to happen?

"Oh, sister guess why. No one knows death, Vee. If you feel guilty about him, you better just send Al Fatihah a letter to him so that the spirits of your friends can be calm in nature" said Varo advising his sister.

Vee nodded and wiped her tears, "Thank you sister" Vee said as she hugged her brother.

And Hideo doesn't like it when he sees Vee hugging another man, even if it's Varo.

"Now it's better that you focus on your exams. Studying diligently, make sure you graduate so that your father and mother are proud of you" said Varo while stroking affection for his sister's hair that still holds it tightly.

"Already yes Vee, now mengedan you cook yes. It seems like big brother is already very hungry" Varo complained as he stroked his stomach.

"Yes brother. Until I forget my brother who helped clean the garden. Must be tired yes" said Vee who had left, heading to the kitchen to prepare food for himself and also for his brother.
