Chapter 16

Two days had passed but Kaiden had not known Talitha's whereabouts at all.

Kaiden has been looking everywhere and looking for a place that might be used as a hiding place. But there was no sign of Talitha or Afkar.

He could only hope that Talitha would be fine.

" You still haven't found it" said Azka who approached Kaiden who was sitting in his chair.

" Not yet" he said coldly.

" Be calm it seems like tomorrow he will bring her back" Azka said again.

" Is it possible ? ", Kaiden asked seriously.

" He won't take her too long. The senators will know ", Azka replied again.

" You're right, senitors locked up for themselves" Kaiden chimed in on Azka's words.

" It should be now that he will be back" Azka added again.

" You're sure" asked Kaiden.

" Oh, let's wait, "he replied calmly..

" I hope you're okay little girl" said Kaiden.

" Then how about that blue flame witch girl" Azka told Kaiden.

" No more news yet ".

" As in the earth. He only comes when something happens ", replied Kaiden again.

" You're right. Maybe he'll show up if the vampire hunter moves again ".

" But for now Afkar is still focused on Talitha so there has been no movement" said Azka who has investigated everything.

" You're right" Kaiden said with a thought about Talitha.

" Then what now ? ", said Azka.

" For now focus on Talitha first. The witch girl has no sign of her reappearance yet" Kaiden said at length.

" Well" Azka said again.

Then they go to class because soon the class will start.

While somewhere else

" In fact, until when am I here" his grunts looked at the window of his room.

The door opened and Afkar entered the room.

" Are you bored ? ", asked Afkar approaching Talitha who was pensive on his own.

" Yes" Talitha said with a ketus.

" Patience soon ", replied Afkar who was sitting near Talitha.

" What do you really want ? " ask again with a sniffle.

" Don't I already say ".

" I just want you. Besides you're a sweet-blooded girl. You are also the girl Kaiden is protecting" Afkar explained to Talitha.

" I'm not protected by him" he replied slightly.

" Even if you don't admit it, but he always follows you wherever you go" Afkar replied.

" That's not my will", Talitha replied.

" Whatever it is Kaiden remains distraught looking for you now" Afkar said by stroking Talitha's cheek.

" That means you locked me up because of Kaiden" Talitha asked in full search.

" Now let me go to school" Talitha pleaded with her face that she had made.

" For now you must remain here" Afkar replied seriously.

" It's up to you" Talitha replied listlessly.

" It's good that you're a smart girl" Afkar replied, then left Talitha.

Afkar Talitha was alone.

" How do I get out of here ? ", he asked himself.

" If I use my power then my identity will be exposed . It will complicate my situation ", Talitha replied to herself.

" Do I have to send a message to dad?" he asked again.

" But maybe I'll be in brackets again ", Talitha said worriedly.

If he asks his father for help then he will be locked up again in his father's mension. But only her father can help her now.

When Afkar returns to his room, he will launch his action.

As usual on the afternoon Afkar came to bring food for Talitha.

" Eat if you follow 'em, I'll bring you home" said Afkar, offering his food.

" really ? " , replied Talitha enthusiastically.

" Yes", he answered with a serious face.

Talitha did not want to eat because she wanted to be returned to the dormitory.

He was tired of facing Afkar who always insisted to always be in his room without going out in the slightest.

Finally Talitha greedily ate the food Afkar brought because he wanted to go home to the dormitory to meet Vania.

I don't know what happened to Vania after she found out that Talitha disappeared during these two days.

Meanwhile, Vania's side is almost desperate to find Talitha's whereabouts.

He thought of contacting Talitha's father but also did not want Talitha locked up by her father.

Because she knew Talitha was lying to her father to attend Starlight High School, which her father had forbidden.

Amidst her confusion and concern for Talitha, Vania contacted Talitha's father.

" Hallo ", there was a voice on the phone.

" This uncle is Vania ", said Vania with a slight huff.

" Talitha disappeared already two days ago" Vania said in a trembling voice.

" ......... "

" Yes uncle I don't know either ", he replied again.

" He suddenly fainted after he regained consciousness his afternoon, he disappeared", she said with a sound of crying that almost broke.

" Okay uncle" said Vania after ending her phone call.

After saying so Vania got out of her bed because it was already evening.

With a lethargic face because Afkar still locked him in the room.

" When can I get out of here" she murmured quietly.

Afkar walked in slowly because he saw Talitha who was daydreaming looking at the window.

Talitha flinched as her neck was rubbed by someone's hand. That person is none other than Afkar.

" What's up ? " ask Afkar who was a little surprised to see Talitha's reaction.

" When did you free me from here" he asked with a clear face.

" Patience soon ", he answered by stopping his hand that kept wiping his neck.

Afkar then turned his eyes to Talitha's tanned eyeballs.

" I don't know why I've always been interested in you" said Afkar, who kept looking at Talitha.

" I want to always see you and I want you by my side" he said calmly.

Talitha was silent because she did not know what Afkar had to say.

" Rest, I'll think of you going back to the hostel" he said again and left Talitha's room.
