Until You Fall in Love with Me

Until You Fall in Love with Me
Ch.30

"No! Chandra does not want to come, Papa and Mama who went.." cried Chandra in front of his parents.

"Same Papa has prepared to empty the schedule to go together, but you don't appreciate us!" rosa said as she buried her face on Albert's shoulder, as if she was hiding her sadness.

Chandra rubbed her hair with a huff. He stared at his parents for a moment, then moved from his seat.

"Send me the location, I'll catch up later" he said.

"No, the beach we will visit is quite far away" said Rosa as she rose from her seat.

"Just send it to me. I'll go first,"

...****************...

Margaret looked at herself in the reflection of the big glass before her. The shocking news he just heard. It had been a long time since the last time the two families had been recreation together.

"Last time when I was 10, right?" mummified Margareth.

Now they both have grown up, and the story will not be the same as before. Especially considering their relationship is not as good as it used to be.

Margaret clenched her hands, "May all be well." he murmured.

"Mama called no reply, Mama thought you were sleeping" Vivian said.

Margaret who was still putting on a shocked expression immediately lowered her hand. But it was too late because Vivian had already seen it.

"You're making hope?"

Vivian smiled faintly at the panic reaction of her daughter. He approached Margaret, then stroked her hair.

"You know what you're worried about, because you were in your position, too.."

A single word without explanation was enough to make Margaret widen her eyes. He frowned, looking at Vivian with a gaze asking for an explanation.

But one thing still confused him. Vivian was still staring at Margaret with her hands that did not stop stroking her hair.

His faint smile faded, his eyes began to glaze over. Margaret was worried about seeing her mother. And before long, a clear grain fell from his eyes.

"Mama?" call Margaret with a worried tone.

He had never seen his mother like that before. Even stroking her hair like this she almost never did. Since childhood only Aunt Lim took care of her, because Vivian always followed her husband wherever he went.

"Sorry Mama." - Vivian.

"I'm sorry that Mama could never defend you in front of Papa. Mama's afraid your dad's gonna turn his back on Mama if she doesn't,"

"Ma?"

Vivian immediately wiped away her tears after hearing Heka's voice.

The door of Margaret's room opened, and the figure of Heka appeared from there with two paper bags in her hand.

"Ma, look. This is the beach sandal you wanted at that time." he exclaimed as he opened one of the paper bags in his hand, and took out the item in question from there.

"This is for you," continued Heka while presenting another paper bag to Margaret.

Margaret saw the contents, a white blazer. Margaret smiled faintly satisfied with his father's gift.

As he raised his head to say thank you, he saw a scene that made his brain spin violently. Heka and Vivian were laughing.

'It seems like Mama doesn't have to worry about Papa turning away from her. Because all this time I've never seen Papa angry to Mama.' Inner.

Margaret was weaving her lips as the two men came out of her room without saying anything. They were too engrossed themselves, to make Margaret like a transparent item.

"Can I be like Mama? Win the heart of a man's pujaan.." he muttered.
