Until When Should I Be?

Until When Should I Be?
23. Malicious plans

Jamal and Sinta's household again improved and was as peaceful as before. Although no one bothers them anymore, but Jamal still uses the services of a bodyguard for his wife. He was afraid that when he was not around, there might be a violent criminal who entered his house. Isn't there also a proverb that says it's better to prevent than to treat. Therefore, rather than fail, Jamal prepared in advance for all the possibilities that will occur in the future. Sinta had arranged her heart and chose to believe what her husband had told her.

"Will you bring some supplies?" asked the woman staring worriedly at her husband who kept coming home late these few days.

"No need. I don't want you to bother with mass."

"But I don't feel bothered, really," Sinta said quickly.

Jamal smiled thinly while breaking his wife's hair slowly. "Let's just have breakfast, we'll try to get home early today,"

Sinta nodded, it was useless if she continued to force. If it is like this, it means that her husband does not want to trouble her to make provisions at this hour. Maybe tomorrow Sinta must wake up early so she can prepare provisions for her husband faster.

"I'm leaving, yeah!" Sinta nodded, the woman then did the homework she had to do today.

That was Jamal's daily life after he made a deal with his grandfather. He worked many times harder than before. All that he did to win the bet they agreed.

What Jamal doesn't know, behind the shadows is waiting for rotten plans made by a third party who expects Jamal to disappear so they can occupy the position that the man left behind. Tias was one of the many names who chose to violate the warning of their great master. Arman has told her to let her granddaughter and Sinta whom she considers a lowly woman or an inappropriate companion for Jamal. Unfortunately, that word was not published. Tias and the others instead joined hands uniting forces to make Jamal lose the bet.

The vacant position Jamal left behind was too majestic to be unachievable in any way. Eventually they teamed up to make Jamal leave without being able to return.

"What should we do?" let them make plans.

"There is only one position, whereas we have four dark horses to replace him!" say the others chimed.

"Make him lose first, when he's gone then we compete for the position he left!"

"But we can't be caught by Mr. Arman!"

"If that's what we know too?!"

"who would risk exposing their rottenness?" totally underestimated. They all put masks on their faces. No one knows the real face of their nature.

"What can we do for now?"

The four women exchanged opinions. They added their own plans to perfect the existing plans.

Of course, it is not them who will do the final plan. All four will give money to the other party so as not to be discovered if they are the real mastermind in this matter.

"Okay, just like that!"

"I'm sure this time it'll work!"

"In the end we can crawl up a level and not be an accomplice that can only be used when needed!"

"Whoever gets that place, remember our promise. What we're doing here, today, can't leak out at all!"

The four nodded in unison, their eyes gleaming full of ambition. Can't wait to get Jamal to leave and make one of their children take the man's place. Who knew luck might come after that. Their children can be appointed as heirs in place of grandchildren whose wives are not liked by their own families.
