Ugly Husband's

Ugly Husband's
Chapter 35

Gather together to eat a meal under the guava tree. Lily who was busy taking care of the kittens was eating the rest of the fruit they were eating.

Fera chose the fruits in search of the most acidic first. "Why, Neng? How are the fruits in the building?" I asked Aunt Inem.

"You look for the acid, Bi," replied Fera flatly.

"Asam? I think this fruit is bought as Nak Chandra is all sweet, Neng!" aunt Inem.

"Is that so, is it okay? By the way, how long has Aunt Inem been working here?" Fera started making small talk.

Chandra again receives a call from his office asking for the cargo of goods and products that enter the warehouse.

"Old, neng. From twelve-year-old Nak Chandra" Aunt Inem replied.

"Waah... lama also yes, it means that there have been twenty years of work here? What does Bibi think Chandra is? Who in the picture is that picture near the television? What is this woman?" Fera's question made Aunt Inem a small smile let alone Lily who was busy babbling the same cat.

"Bak misunderstood, the picture of the figura is not me, mbak!" lily connected the conversation.

"Keep that figura who's dong?" ask Fera again

Under the guava tree there were only three women here. Hana and Herman return to work at home. Chandra was still busy calling not yet over, while stealing the view of a few meters away he could see his wife was having a conversation with Aunt Inem and Lily.

"Bi Inem just hook up, deh. Afraid that she might misunderstand again!" lily replied passing directly to Aunt Inem.

Fera was getting curious and suspicious, the question was like a ball on the pass and there.

"Areally who's the figura? How is it getting weird! Indeed Chandra the same woman in the photo has anything to do with it? Until I asked suspicious. I promise I won't be angry or jealous." Fera promised them both.

Aunt Inem sighed and took a deep breath back. Start telling the real figura in the photo with Chandra a friendly hug and a sweet smile.

"Photo figura is his best friend Nak Chandra both studied in Jakarta. Support each other when making lecture activities. Love to play here his best friend, he is sweet, beautiful, cute, cheap smile. Their relationship was good until Bibi, Hana's mother and Herman thought Chandra was dating her best friend,"

Fera still hears stories from Aunt Inem. Fera takes the core story that the figura photo is a good friend and first love in his youth.

"But, bi, I'll cut it first. So Chandra's first love was true, which the hell was it? Shena or best friend is in the picture?" Fera was getting confused by this story. She feels lying to her husband and family. Fera like a stupid woman is very easy to trust the story of all of them.

"Shena? Who is Shena? As far as Aunt Chandra's first love is concerned, the friend asked the figura" Aunt Inem replied.

Fera widened his eyes, he could guess his own lies after lies had been revealed by him. Chandra had been lying to her all this time, yet Fera was still with an ordinary face but inside her body had been boiling.

"really? Aunty don't lie, lying is a sin to get into the afterlife!" Fera threatened but brought a joke.

"Sir, Aunt Inem never lies. Chandra's sister still has feelings for her best friend until now. I'm just surprised that Chandra's already married. I thought this was her friend, brother Chandra," Lily said, listening to the conversation between Aunt Inem and Fera.

"So you and Chandra have a relationship? How come you're so close to her?" Fera's tone began to low his emotions.

"I'm Lily, ma'am. His former student took private lessons a year ago dreaming of becoming Chandra's husband. But I know myself, there's no way that Chandra's gonna want me to slide this." Lily introduced herself to Fera.

"Yes already, neng. Auntie go inside first huh. Don't tell Chandra son that Bibi told neng" said Aunt Inem lifting the empty plate.

"No promise, Bi. Depends on my mood how. But Aunt take it easy I won't blame Auntie anyway, thanks again. And you, Lily, go home and bring your kittens, too." Fera drives Lily out of Chandra's house.

"Have the fruits finished?" Chandra is looking for fruit that you just wanted to eat.

"Out in the barn with a female cat!" answered Fera ketus straight in no matter her husband stupefied there.

The sky was getting dark at 18:45 and it was about seven o'clock. Azan magrib had been heard all over this rural alley.

At the dinner table Fera chooses to mute after what she got the story from Aunt Inem. While chewing she stole the direction beside her husband was eating his mother's cooking. Not only that mother and father-in-law were also the same things being in this house without conversation as the first time they came to their home both.

"How's the job at his Madura Cafe? What smoothly?" a heavy and resolute voice broke the silence on the dining table a few minutes later. Herman asked his daughter-in-law.

"Current, Pa. Some yesterday the turnover of customers increased, if now there is no report from them," replied Fera flat without a sense of smile on his face he resumed eating.

"It's good then, if it can stay that way continue, Papa is sure to be more and more of the cafe. Unlike before, it always obeyed and troubled others. Look at that Chandra like this is Papa looking for a wife for you. Despite his stubbornness he wanted to try something new." Herman praised Fera and cornered Chandra.

The conversation at the dinner table grew tense. Fera behaves normally while Chandra chooses to quietly let his parents corner him in front of his wife.

"Already, Pa. His name is also man. Not all work is done alone, it's a good thing our daughter-in-law helped rather than not at all, let's eat again. About the office problem later just talked about," continued Hana voiced.

After finishing dinner as usual Fera went into his room. She chose to sleep, her head ached suddenly thinking too much about her husband's best friend.

In the living room Chandra sat down to join the two parents watching television. "How is your relationship with Fera? Is it better? When do you give your mother a grandchild?" questions from Hana discussing grandchildren.

"It's better, Ma. Be patient, God has not given you the best. Fera often bursts into emotion, perhaps too aggressively" Chandra answers, helping to peel off the pea skin.

"Have you checked with the doctor yet? how do you know Fera's so pregnant, isn't she, Pa!" hana's exclaim indicates that Chandra's wife is pregnant.

"It's time, Ma." Chandra can't believe the parents' words missed.

The conversation in the living room was still seriously full of laughter, not making Fera disturbed by her sleep. He does need to calm the mind to remember every word from Aunt Inem.

It's been ten o'clock in the night that the drowsiness in Chandra's eyes started picking her up. He also went in to see his wife's sleeping position turned back. After washing his feet, he joined the bed and hugged his wife.

But before that, Chandra heard a sobbing sound from his wife. He turned Fera's body, his eyes red but closed. Fera cried unconsciously while asleep.

"Darling, what's wrong?" Chandra wiped away the rest of those flowing tears.

Fera opened her eyes and felt a pain in the pouch. There she found her husband watching her closely.

"Why? Why crying? Another nightmare?" Chandra asked again no answer from his wife.

"It's okay, it's just a dust allergy," answered Fera Parau back sideways to sleep covering her own blanket.

"Allergy?"

Fera closed both of her eyes. Just crying he was relieved, he also did not know why he was this weak. Feeling all empty does not mean that her husband still holds feelings for his best friend. She could accept all the lies from her husband. Loving in a true lie is not as beautiful as he now expects.
