In the afternoon at the palace...

I was escorted by Rain to my private room through the palace gazebo. However, before reaching the gazebo, I saw Cloud staring intently at us from the middle of the garden.

Looks like I made a mistake.

Simultaneously, Rain immediately clasped my left hand. I walked to his right side looking down, trying to take my eyes off Cloud. I know what I'm doing is useless. Cloud quickly approached me.

"Ara, where are you?" he asked me to stop our steps.

"Ara's out of my manshion, she's resting there." Rain answered Cloud.

I felt the atmosphere suddenly turn gripping as Rain answered her brother's question.

"It's still working hours, why should it be at your place?" Cloud asked Rain.

"Em, sorry. I was wrong. I—"

"I asked for it." Rain again replied Cloud.

Cloud seemed to swallow his saliva. He seems to be at a loss for words. Cloud then held my right hand.

"Come with me, Ara," he said, pulling my hand.

"Hey, Brother!" Rain immediately released Cloud's hand from mine. "You have no rights to Ara. She's my lover." Rain put his body in front of me.

"I don't care about that. Ara still has a contract with me. And all that time, he's been my responsibility." Cloud said firmly.

"I'm sorry, this time I'm going to end your employment contract." Rain stared intently at Cloud.

"En, Rain. Already," I said while holding his chest that was very close to Cloud's.

I feel like this situation is not good for us. I said goodbye to Cloud to avoid him. But apparently, I was late.

I'm trying to separate them. I see Rain and Cloud are going to fight. Both of them tried to pull out their swords.

I was between the two and bowed, apologizing to Cloud for taking hours without his permission.

Cloud was annoyed, he turned his gaze away then moved quickly to hit Rain in the face.

Suddenly I was wide-eyed to see Rain fall down, hit by Cloud's punch. I immediately helped Rain to wake up. This commotion provoked the inhabitants of the palace who passed by to see it.

"Cloud, what are you doing?!" my question is to look towards him.

"Ara, I don't like you with Rain. You have to come with me" he said, then pulled me back.

Rain immediately got up while holding onto his cheek which was hit by Cloud's punch. There was fresh blood coming out from between his lips.

"Rain, you're hurt."

I'm worried about Rain. I tried to wipe his blood.

"I'm fine, Ara. It's nothing yet" he said trying to calm me down.

I don't know why my heart hurts with this. Rain should be hurt because of me.

"I love Ara, Brother. He'll stay with me!" Rain stood up.

"And you think I don't love her?" cloud asked as he stared intently at Rain.

I got dizzy myself seeing this. I tried to separate them, but the two were still at odds. My tears began to flow from hiding.

"I was the first with him. You just think of it as—"

"You!"

"Cloud calm yourself!"

I cried, feeling guilty for this incident. I bowed sadly holding back my grief.

Why does this have to happen?

"Ara, are you crying?" Rain turned to me, he then held both of my cheeks.

"Take your hand off her, Rain!" Cloud exclaimed and tried to separate us.

"Cloud, calm yourself! Don't get carried away by emotions! You don't see if Ara's face is that pale?" Star tried to calm Cloud down.

Cloud looked fiery looking at the affection Rain gave me. I can't ban it either because there's nothing I can do but cry.

"I'm sorry, Cloud. It's all my fault, not Rain's." I apologize to Cloud.

I cried unstoppably, my voice sounded raucous. My chest feels tight at the moment.

"If I may defend myself, this morning I went to the hill of the tree of heaven to take its fruit and leaves, so that they may be used as medicine and distributed to the inhabitants. I took two large sacks myself and had no time for breakfast. So my body went limp and Rain asked me to rest." I tried to explain the chronology in front of these three princes.

"I know I'm wrong, I'll change my hours the next day. I'm sorry."

I bowed towards Cloud while holding back tears. Afterwards, I immediately left from the presence of these three princes. Walk fast and ignore them.

"Mom!" Rain immediately chased me.

With quick steps I left the palace garden. I don't want my presence to cause trouble here.

I don't care about it either. I just continued my footsteps towards the room while looking down because I didn't want anyone else to see me cry.

"I'll get you in front of the room." Rain took off his robe and put it on me.

I don't know what happened to Cloud. I just kept walking fast and didn't look at him at all.

Meanwhile...

"Cloud, did you see that?" Star asked his cousin.

Cloud looked so furious, he clenched both his hands. He was so jealous, his heart ached to see Ara with Rain.

"The more you show your ego side, the more Ara moves away from you" Star continued.

"I can't see them, Star."

"Cloud, you should be able to hold back your emotions. Ara's face looked very pale earlier. He's been trying to help your people. You should've thanked him, not made him cry." Star advises.

"I ...."

"If you continue like this, you will lose Ara. Indirectly you handed Ara over to Rain."

"No. It won't." Cloud shook his head.

"You must remember that the woman always acts using her feelings. Once you're hurt, a thousand years he'll remember."

"I can't, Star. Ak-aku—" Cloud feels cornered.

"I know you're jealous. However, you need to be more patient." Star advised again.

Cloud was enveloped in jealousy. He also felt guilty for making Ara cry. But he could not hold back his fire. He had felt eliminated since Rain's presence in this palace. Ara no longer had time for him.

Cloud is a perfectionist prince. It always works as perfectly as possible. But in terms of romance, Cloud has made a mistake three times.
