Long Waiting

Tedy and his girlfriend are waiting for Kevin in a normal place.

The campus parking lot, where Kevin and Tedy gather when they want to go home, sometimes they like to hang out first or go to the cafeteria.

The person who awaited Tedy finally seen, he approached Tedy with his girlfriend Wulan.

Have you been waiting for Ted?

Long time Vin, I went back first. Tedy.

"Be careful on the road do not speed as your girlfriend, if at speeding." Said Kevin.

Tedy started the motor.

Tedy honks and leaves Wulan and Kevin.

Wulan who was on the right hugged Kevin and kissed Kevin's cheek gently and full of warmth, then whispered in his ear.

"I want to be your girlfriend"

How shocked Kevin, when Wulan's lips stuck to his cheek. Kevin felt his body float, as if he wanted to fly.

Kevin's long wait was finally achieved.

In wishful thinking, Kevin felt a great vibe in his heart, so that it could not be expressed with words.

When Kevin was still in the third grade of Junior High, he had expressed his heart, but Wulan rejected him on the grounds, wanting to focus on school first.

When they wanted to enter High School, Wulan and Kevin separated, because of the different schools they went to.

"Daaar, uh Vin ko even daydreams" Wulan surprised his daydream.

Kevin just smiled and took Wulan by the hand, and stepped away from the campus.

Arriving on the highway, Wulan waved to stop the public transport, but the car was full, and the second time stopped, the car stopped.

Kevin told Wulan to go in first, then followed by Kevin behind him.

Kevin sat in the right corner, while Wulan sat right in front of Kevin.

Wulan continued to look at Kevin's face without blinking an inch, occasionally Wulan threw a smile at him. Kevin just returned Wulan's smile.

While looking at each other between Kevin and Wulan, from the front came the sound of the phone ringtone, spontaneously Wulan and Kevin glanced at the driver's pack.

The driver who was driving took the phone and answered the incoming call, not long after the car left and stopped, then the Driver said.

"Dec sorry yes. Adek, you put it down here" said the old driver, seen from the hair that has begun to whiten.

"What's wrong sir, why do we tell him to get down here" Kevin was surprised, the car he was riding stopped.

"Anu Deck, sorry yes, the wife of the Father called he said the son of the Father fell and had to be taken to the hospital immediately" replied the driver, while apologizing.

"Oh yes sir, it's okay for us to come down here" Kevin assented to Mr. Driver, then offered some money for his services.

"There's plenty of decks" the driver thanked him as he wrapped himself up and got into the car.

"Hopefully the father's son will recover quickly" said Kevin to the Driver.

Just as the car was about to go, the father waved his hand towards the two of them.

Kevin and Wulan are forced to continue on foot. Wulan's house is not too far from their place, while Kevin's house still has to connect public transportation.

In front of the Wulan house.

"Vin, stop by first not to go home" asked Wulan to stop by his house.

"More times will stop by" he said, winking.

Wulan opened the gate of the courtyard of the house and entered, after being inside, Wulan closed back the gate and shouted towards Kevin.

"Be careful on the road" cried Wulan.

Kevin just nodded and waved his hand.

Kevin continued walking forward, not long after, there was the sound of a car horn approaching Kevin.

"Kevin, you're Kevin, don't you think I still don't?" Shouted a guy who was still in the car and marginalized him.

The sound of the car is still burning

Kevin stopped his footsteps, he tried to stare at the person in the car, to ascertain who was calling his name.

"Bram, right?" ask Kevin to make sure.

"Yes, it's Bram Ibrahim" Bram replied.

His real name is Ibrahim, but Kevin often calls him Bram, so it's good to call and not complicated.

Bram opened the front door of the car, and let Kevin in, after Kevin came in and sat down, Kevin's hand reached for the door, then closed it.

Bram turned on the right turnlight, and with a moment, the car drove.

"Well, you still want Vin, tongkrongan we used to, you yourself how are you doing, then why did you go home on foot?" Bram asked.

"So coming home from college on public transport, but told to get off in the middle of the road, because his son was sick, so I had to walk." Kevin answered explaining.

"Oh so the story is, why don't you connect other public transportation?" Bram.

"It just so happened to come home with friends and his house was not too far when we went down earlier." Legally.

"Why don't you cost Vin, so don't be tired of going back home, it's quite enough to save money." Bram advised.

"Later, I think about it" Kevin considered Bram's input.

Bram kept chatting, so it was not felt that it was in front of Kevin's house.

Kevin got out of the car and invited Bram to stop by for a while, but he refused, because he had to pick up his employer in the next town, knowing he was now working as a private driver.

Bram left, and the car was on. Kevin was already at the door, when it was about to enter it turned out that the door was still in the key.

Kevin said his greetings while knocking on the door.

Then someone answered his greetings and opened the door. Kevin kissed his mother's hand and then came in.

Before entering Kevin take off his shoes and arrange them neatly, then go into the room put a bag and change clothes, after which he washed his face and asked his father to Mama, who was watching TV, who was watching TV, Mama says dad's not home yet, Kevin's back in the room, putting his body on the bed while listening to music.

Shortly followed by his father who had just returned home, Dad asked Kevin had gone home or had not been to Mama. My mom said Kevin was in the room.

After finding out Kevin was in the room, his father invited Mama to see Kevin.

Tok, tock, tock

"Vin?" Mom knocked on the door.

Kevin heard with a faint knock on the door in his ear.

"Dad, this is the rich kid sleeping." Mama said while glancing at Dad.

"Let's look inside Ma, Daddy's missing" Dad said.

"Your mother goes into your room" Mama's permission to enter the room.

Mom went into the room and woke Kevin up, but it didn't work, because Kevin was asleep.

While the father waited at the door of the room, while looking at his son who had slept, then said to Mama.

"Ma, Kevin's stuff is tidied up, let's be neat, keep not forgetting Kevin's body cover."

Mama covers Kevin and keeps the bag lying on the floor on the table, then tidies Kevin's clothes that are only stuck in the chair.

Mama and Dad left Kevin's room, Dad went to take a shower and took care of the backyard, then Mama went to the kitchen, prepared food.

Kevin woke up, immediately looking at the clock on his phone screen, he rushed out to wash his face and sat on the dining table, with a face that was still sleepy.

As Mama passed through the kitchen, Kevin stumbled over the bucket, still drowsy, and Kevin asked.

"Where are you, Dad, how are you invisible?"

"You're walking while sleeping yes, use hit bucket all, Daddy is in the back yard feeding fish in the pond" said Mama.

Kevin was about to follow his father to the back. But, Kevin's eyes saw something on the table.

Kevin opened the hood, there is his favorite food, from vegetable soup, potato paste, to crackers but unfortunately the sauce was finished by his father who only left the bowl alone.

After finishing eating Kevin followed the father to the back, Kevin helped his father feed the fish in the pond.

It's getting dark, Kevin and Dad are coming in.

As Kevin was about to go to the bathroom, his phone rang. Kevin rushed to the room.

There was a message from Teddy.

"Vin sorry, tomorrow I can't pick you up, make you go to college, is that okay?"

"Why Ted, are you sick or what?"

"My motorbike entered Vin's workshop, was hit by a truck, while the car was parked near my house"

"why isn't it?"

"Gue's fine, just the bike's damaged pretty badly."

"Thank God that you're okay, if the motorbike can be taken to the workshop, but tomorrow you leave for campus right?"

"Let's just relax, I'm definitely off to college"

The phone died itself. Kevin immediately took the charger and charged the battery.
