TUMBAL NURSING HOME

TUMBAL NURSING HOME
CHAPTER 6 SINTIA'S SUSPICIONS INCREASE.

"Pak Kirun can tell you again what happened at the Panti? Didn't the next building catch fire, but what we saw was all in good condition." Sintia asked the question again.

"Yes, maybe it's because Bu Mariyati renovated her back. But ever since he recovered from his depression, the parlour has not received any more parents. Somehow the parents who previously lived there. Because they haven't been seen out of the Panti for a long time. Maybe some go home, or stay there and Mariyati takes care of it." Mister Kirun who suddenly stopped the pace of his delman.

Mr. Kirun went down in front of the marshland, he took a long knife under his armchair. Seen Sintia Sintia's face turned tense. He gulped his saliva roughly and focused on watching Mr. Kirun's movements. Suddenly the middle-aged man swung the knife upwards. Sintia screamed in fear with cold sweat all over her body.

"Well!" Sintia's scream surprised Riko who was still checking the groceries they bought earlier.

"What's the deck?" Ask Mr. Kirun who turned out to swing a knife to release the empty sack associated with the nail of the chair.

"Yes... Why the hell is Sin? You've been weird all day knowing no!" Sahut Riko by shaking the body of Sintia.

Sintia looked stunned, because it turned out that he saw Mr. Kirun just trying to take an empty sack that was stuck in a nail. I don't know what he was thinking earlier, so he thought Mr. Kirun would hurt them.

"Sorry sir, I saw something behind the bamboo tree." Obviously Sintia while showing a finger to the bamboo tree not far from them.

Mr. Kirun smiled flatly, he said goodbye for a while to look for grass. Because after this his horse had to be fed, and he ran out of grass stock. After Mr. Kirun left, then Riko again asked Sintia.

"So I saw Mr. Kirun holding a knife up. I became parno Ko, so I shouted. Eh no idea he just wanted to take off the sack that was stuck with nails."

"Eat him Sin, don't negatively think through! Mr. Kirun seems like a good person, in fact he wants to share our same story. You better not think anymore. Rather than later you keep parno as long as we're at Panti."

"But when should we get there Ko? Why am I afraid I'll never see my family again!" Say her eyes are glazed.

"And I've told you, you don't negatively think on Sin! Although I also don't know when we're back, but I'm sure I can get together with the family again." Riko calmed Sintia down while clasping her hands.

They are uncomfortable with their closeness. Sintia immediately brushed off Riko's hand, and sat a bit away from her. Before long Mr. Kirun came and kept a sack of grass under the delman. Then they continued their journey back.

"If you want to go again, find me on the deck. My house is not far from there, but in that area I am the only one who leaves. Most people would rather ride a motorcycle, delman like this is just a few now."

"Whose Pak Kirun lives with at home? If there's time, maybe I can stop by to just have a coffee with Mr."

"Indeed, Riko's deck is sure, that Ms Mariyati will give you an exit permit if nothing matters?" Sir Kirun smiled slightly.

"True Sintia deck, you can't just haphazardly get out of the Panti. Because I happen to drive people who help there to the market."

"So there's been someone who helped at that place, sir? Why is there no more?" Sintia asked by hooking the two eyebrows together.

"Yes it's been a long time since the Sintia deck, probably a few years ago. Now someone is helping out at the place again. Maybe not many people want to work in an elderly shelter."

"So Mr. Kirun knows a lot about the history of the Panti dong. If you get permission from Ms. Mariyati, I want to play at Father's house." Riko sumringah.

Without feeling the delman they were riding had arrived in front of the Panti. Mr. Kirun got off the delman, helped them drop off the groceries.

"I live alone deck, coincidentally my wife is having business in town. If it's just a coffee, I can make it for Riko's deck."

Because the more curious, Sintia finally asked the question again. At an age that is not young anymore, why Mr. Kirun is still undergoing a profession as a delman coachman. He wanted to know if his son did not forbid him to pursue the profession. Then Mr. Kirun only replied, if the only child was gone because he wanted to save his life.

"Sorry sir, I don't mean to make Mr. Kirun remember those bitter memories again." Said Sintia while handing over the money, and Pak Kirun only responded with a nod of his head without any expression.

Sintia and Riko walked into the courtyard of the Panti. Buildings with classical Dutch architecture, if viewed at a glance it does look a bit creepy. The color paint is worn out, and several cobwebs adorn the top of the building. Because I could not hear the sound of horseshoes leaving the front yard. Sintia turned her back, but she didn't see Mr. Kirun's delman there. Sintia scratched his head that did not itch, he was sure if along the journey was clearly heard the sound of horse shoes.

Tuk tik tik tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk.

Such was the sound of horseshoes that were still loud in his hearing.

"Loh Ko, when did Mr Kirun go? How come I don't hear the crinkling or the horseshoes?"

Riko turned around, and she was just as confused as Sintia. "Squeaky. I don't feel Sin either. Is it possible that we are too tired to be unaware of the circumstances around ya?" Riko said by hooking both eyebrows.

"Style, Riko! Why don't you guys ring a fart right away? You've been waited for by Nek Siti and Grandpa Ridho. Soon it was time for them to take a nap. Quickly bring everything in, and take the old man to his own room. After that you can have lunch and rest for a while. Then you can do something else. Remember as long as the parents are in the room, you should never go inside except with their permission. I've also told the others, so you should also know about the warning as well!" Clearly Mariyati with a flat face.

Sintia and Riko just nodded their heads. They entered the room with their groceries. After hearing the sound of the door closing, Sintia immediately turned around. He felt trapped somewhere dangerous. But he also did not know, what dangers would threaten him while there.
