With the start of additional classes after school.
In the library, you can see Zeline Hallensa standing next to a towering bookcase. Sorting books for the next three hours. Three hours is not a moment but this is the task now, fortunately this is done once every three weeks.
"I'll be home late today" Zeline lamented in a deep breath.
"Fuh~"
Suddenly there was air blowing some kid messy hair behind the ears, scented mint and feeling cold.
Zeline surprised. He reflexively jumped in shock and immediately turned around, eyes twitching wide as he saw Athlas standing behind him.
"Athlas...?"
Athlas did not reply, he just stared flatly. Even his eyes were fixed on Zeline's neck.
Ah, I want to bite you.
Understand the meaning of that look. Zeline instantly covered her neck with both hands, she felt uneasy.
"What business brings you to the library?" zeline asked trying to smile even though it was very difficult.
"I'd like to meet you, some student taught me if Miss. Zeline here," Athlas replied as he grabbed Zeline's hands away from the neck, "Aren't you a self-study supervisor?"
Trying to stay calm, Zeline brushed Athlas off, "Ah, no. The library's under construction, I'm in charge of book management."
"Hmm," Athlas smiled obliquely, then cast a glance at the shelves filled with so many books, "Are you really doing this yourself? You always do the hard work."
I'm so busy, so don't bother me!
Zeline could only scream in her heart.
"It's not like that." Zeline's voice swallowed as Athlas crunched forward. Make him step back.
Athlas kept on closing in and locked down the evasive route of Zeline, making a slender back hit the bookshelf, cornered, unable to dodge anymore.
"What do you want from me?" ask Zeline who actually knows.
Athlas ignored, he stomped his palm to the side of the bookshelf. It gave off a startling sound, making Zeline's shoulders jerk and the bookshelf shake.
The unexpected thing happened, the pile of books in the section fell. Zeline who saw that immediately impulsively hugged Athlas.
"Surge!"
Bam! The sound of books falling sounded quite loud.
Hugging and protecting with that small and frail body. Zeline was closed and grimaced with pain.
This left Athlas flabbergasted.
"Ughs... Very dangerous," she said, Zeline took off a hug, then pushed Athlas' body away from him.
Holding his wrist that was throbbing pain, there was a bruise from the fall of the book. As if he did not care, Zeline was more worried about the books scattered on the floor, he had to sort from the beginning.
Her... Protecting me?
Athlas stared at Zeline's wrist.
What was he thinking about injuring his hand? I want to take his blood. Fucking stupid man.
"It's just instinct!" sergeant Zeline is upset that Athlas said he was stupid.
Athlas smiled wryly, "Should I thank you?"
"No need," Zeline refused.
This fucking...
Why ask if you want to thank me? What a cold-blooded vampire.
However, Zeline only dared to curse Athlas inwardly.
As Athlas' gaze moved low, without gentleness grabbing Zeline's right hand, his thumb rubbed the blushing bruise.
"That hurts," said Zeline.
"What if I lick you?"
"What?" Zeline raised an eyebrow, glancing doubtfully as she might have misheard.
Athlas began to move and brought his mouth closer to the wrist where there was a bruise. Zeline's body snapped when she felt a wet sensation on her wrist.
"What are you doing?" ask Zeline with a flushed face. He immediately pulled his right hand.
"Lick you" Athlas replied with curled lips. Smile casually.
"Basically you're a pervert!" pekik Zeline pointed with a trembling finger.
Athlas' smile faded, "Emesum?"
I'm just treating you, you idiot.
Hearing the golden-yellow-eyed young man's thoughts, Zeline suddenly fell silent. Not understanding the relationship of licking with treating.
"Athlas, it's not like that if you want to treat my wrist. I just need ointments and bandages" Zeline said.
Athlas was surprised, his pupils turning red every second.
"You read my mind without permission?" athlas asked with a sharp glance.
"Listen just like that, I didn't accidentally," Zeline said glancing at Athlas' reddened ear.
Could he be embarrassed? Cute...
"Don't read my mind as well as you do anymore!" edict Athlas firmly, while pushing the Zeline jidat with his index finger.
Oh, Zeline's self-esteem as a teacher was torn apart because of this one student. Both of his hands were clenched.
Really brazen! Forget about Zeline who thinks Athlas's reddened ears are cute!
"Hey, you understand me?" urged Athlas because Zeline did not answer.
"I understand, stop pushing my eel!" exclaiming Zeline put away Athlas' index finger, "You're really disrespectful to me! How oldyou? And I'm much older. Have you forgotten that I am your teacher? You're a rude bastard!"
"You're the first one who doesn't read my mind politely! Even I am a thousand times your age! Teachers always want to be treated with respect just because they're older and a little smarter. Okay, I'll speak politely with you. Is that better, Master?" Athlas smiled sarcastically, his gaze humbling.
"Huh? A thousand times my age?" Zeline glared, surprised to learn that Athlas was already so much older, but not surprised, "Ah, forget it! You'll kill me soon!"
"Yes, I really want to suck your blood dry!" dengkus Athlas cynical.
Scratch the feather of Zeline's back to hear Athlas' words. Now he regrets being emotionally carried away.
"Yeah! You are terrible! Stay away from me, God damn it!" zeline wants Athlas to stay away from her.
"Grove! Shut up or I'll bite this second too!" menace Athlas.
Zeline pursed her lips, "Like you didn't intend to bite me a few minutes ago."
"Miss. Zeline, where are you?"
The debate between the two stopped because of hearing someone calling Zeline.
Lee Param enters the library. Throwing a glance in all directions, until it finds the person it is looking for.
Zeline took a quick glance at Athlas before moving towards Param, "What brings you to the library, Mr. Param?"
"We've been discussing about a potential librarian assistant. We need your confirmation" Param immediately said his intention.
"uh? Oh, yes it is," Zeline nodded. She needed an assistant to help her in the library.
"Since you've already taken this position, we only have two options. We could hire a public servant, or hire a library science student. So the final decision is left to you. Can you handle it yourself?"
"But the proposal..."
"Or do you want me to help you? I can help put up an announcement and you read the resume," Param smiled, staring at Zeline without a blink.
"What's not a hassle? Wasn't Mr. Param still has another bustle?" Zeline felt doubtful and uneasy.
"It's okay, it's not troublesome at all."
Meanwhile, Athlas stayed in place. Look at Zeline talking to Param. His eyes were squinting when he met Lee Param's eyes, both of them looking at each other with tapered eyes, spreading a cynical look at each other.
Well, what is this? Dogs chasing Dogs?
Sontak Zeline turned to Athlas, as if asking what he had heard.
Look at this fool, he doesn't realize there's another dog around him.
And still reading my mind.
