Trapped In The Cultivator World
Anwei Inn

The next day, Li Hao with Diao Chan and Wei Han walked out of the inn after enjoying a free breakfast.

"Are we going straight to Anwei's inn?" Li Hao asked Diao Chan.

"Yes, the Tournament registration will open tomorrow. So, it's good to see him now." Diao Chan nodded once.

Li Hao did not say anything more and they then walked away to one of the biggest inns in Luoyang city, Anwei inn.

The distance between the inn that Li Hao rented with Anwei inn was not too far away, in just five minutes - the three of them had already reached in front of a luxurious building. The building has a large identification board emblazoned on the summit, and it reads 'Anwei Inn'.

"The building is three times larger and taller than our previous inn." Li Hao muttered, and was taken lightly by Diao Chan.

The three of them then walked into the inn and were immediately greeted by an unemployed Servant.

"Welcome, Sir, Madam. Are you aiming to stay over?" asked the handsome waiter while putting on a friendly smile.

"No, I want to meet someone here..." Diao Chan replied, his voice flat as he said that.

"Ah, so it seems. Do you want me to call him?" the waiter offered help without fading his friendly smile.

"No need..." Diao Chan shook his head, his current gaze pointing to the back of the maid.

"Miss! How can you be here?" a middle-aged man asked in a surprised voice, he had an ordinary appearance but there was an incision scar on his forehead.

The waiter did not turn to the source of the voice and immediately withdrew from there.

"Ah, Uncle Jang, how are you?" Diao Chan greeted with a faint smile.

"No, no. Don't exchange greetings, miss. How can you be here?" the middle-aged man called uncle Jang pointed at a shocked expression as well as puzzled.

"Certainly enter the Tournament." Diao Chan folded his hands in front of his chest.

"Eh, but... Hows it? Wait, does the Patriarch know about this?" uncle Jang asked, anxiety clearly visible on his face.

"I left a letter in my room, take it easy." Diao Chan said without burden, but uncle Jang who heard that couldn't help but be surprised.

"Miss, you know that the Patriarch is sentimental. If anything happens to Miss, a war could happen." uncle Jang said in a worried voice.

"Hmph! It's noisy! Never mind, no need to exaggerate. I'm healthy now, aren't I?!" Diao Chan felt annoyed when he heard the middle-aged man's chatter.

"Uh... That.." Uncle Jang didn't know what to say.

"I came here because I wanted to ask you something." Diao Chan said, his feelings were calm again.

"Do you want to ask about First Miss? He was in his room, and was probably cultivating." uncle Jang tried to guess.

"No." Diao Chan shook his head slowly, then continued, "Are you idle when the Tournament takes place?"

"Eh, huh?" uncle Jang nodded.

"Good, I want to leave Wei Han to you while I'm participating in the Tournament." Diao Chan looked at the little boy beside him, "He's the kid I'm going to bring to the sect, don't ask insignificant questions, understand?"

Uncle Jang looked at Wei Han for a moment, then his eyes turned back to Diao Chan and said obediently, "Alright, Miss."

Diao Chan then turned around while holding Wei Han, he then took Li Hao away from there.

Uncle Jang didn't do much when he saw Diao Chan's departure, a breath coming out of his mouth, "Haah... It was really unexpected.." uncle Jang muttered, then continued on, "By the way, who is that young man and little boy? Miss seems to be close to them."

***

"Hey, what happened to you?" Diao Chan asked when he realized that Li Hao continued to daydream after coming out of Anwei's inn.

"Hm, I'm just thinking about something." Li Hao replied when he found out that the question was being shown to him.

"Are you curious, why did Uncle Jang find out about my whereabouts?" Diao Chan tried to guess the contents of the young man's mind.

"No..." Li Hao shook his head, then said immediately, "His words about your father might trigger a war if something happens to you, is he overreacting in saying that?"

Diao Chan slightly flinched before stroking his chin slowly, "Once, chances are 50:50. Depending on what happens to me, if I get killed maybe a war could happen."

"Hoo... Your father means loving his children, yes." Li Hao nodded a few times as if he had just heard something interesting.

Diao Chan slightly narrowed his eyes before asking, "What's the matter?"

"I wonder if I didn't save you from those bandits... Is the war happening now?" Li Hao folded his hands in front of his chest.

"See, but maybe it is..." Diao Chan nodded, then asked again "Do you regret your actions?"

"No, I'm not a war-loving madman." Li Hao immediately shook his head quickly, although in comics or novels the occurrence of war is something fun to read, but if I feel it myself it does not sound pleasant at all.

Diao Chan nodded and his gaze returned straight ahead, "By the way, the Tournament registration will open tomorrow morning and end in the afternoon. When are we going there?"

"Morning... If it can be a few hours before the Tournament registration opens." Li Hao answered quickly.

"Yes, I agree. There must be a lot of people who want to sign up for that Tournament - given its limited slots." Diao Chan nodded slowly.

"The reward is also tempting, especially for those who managed to reach the top three." Li Hao added.

The free tournament held by the Five Dragons Tower party had an incredible prize for them in the top three.

The reward for the First winner was, a Low-Tier level Earth stage weapon, three Intermediate level Energy Crystals and 500,000 thousand gold coins.

The prizes for the Second winner were, two medium-level Energy Crystals, three Low-level Energy Crystals and 200,000 thousand Gold Coins.

The prizes for the Third winner were, one Intermediate-level Energy Crystal, three Low-level Energy Crystals and 50,000 gold coins.

"I'm sure, most sects aren't interested in the gold coins being gifts. Energy crystals and weapons are the gifts they seek..." Diao Chan said in a relaxed tone.

"You're right, energy crystals are a much-needed resource by Cultivators - especially since their rarity makes them difficult to search for. I had read about it in a book, low-level energy crystals alone had a pretty fantastic price." Li Hao himself was actually excited after hearing the prize, but he already had plans not to reach the top hundred in the Tournament - the reason being that he did not want to attract too much attention.
