EXTRA PART (7): I Can!

Jessica, who was pondering, seemed to lean her head on the headboard of her bed in the hospital. Jerry and Hanna are having a conversation with Albert and Joanne. Sometimes Jessica smiles at her family's jokes.

“Thanks papa mama Joanne. Without you I might not be able to survive this sadness”mumbles Jessica in the heart

Just as he was looking at his family, Albert was seen stealing glances and staring at the beautiful girl who was staring at the warmth of his family. When the eyes of the two met, Jessica immediately commented on the beautiful smile on her lips.

“Albert, thank you”murm Jessica in heart

Seeing Jessica returning her eyes, Albert smiled. Albert walked over to Jessica and sat down next to her bed.

“Tomorrow you can go home”ucap Albert with a gentle look at Jessica

Jessica just nodded her head. The two then talked lightly together. Joanne chose to accompany her mom and dad who were going to dinner outside. Leaving the two befriended human children in the hospital room together.

“Papa get out first ya”

“Iya pa. You guys eat first. I have a gap in kok” replied Jessica

“Albert, uncle titip Jessica for a minute ya”love Jerry

“Iya. I'll take care of her Albert replied as he glanced at Jessica

Finally Joanne took her mom out to dinner.

Albert sat on the edge of Jessica's bed.

“What's your plan after getting out of here?”ask Albert

Jessica seemed to think for a moment. Suddenly a knock outside blew his daydream.

“Tok..tok.

The sound of knocking on the door from outside. The two people inside looked at the door at the same time. While frowning, Albert looked back at Jessica.

“You have a guest apparently. I saw first who was outside” replied Albert

Jessica nodded her head slowly. He also wondered who was visiting. Because only his family knows his condition.

Albert, who walked towards the door, looked widened his eyes to see the newlywed couple who had been married this afternoon were already in the hospital.

“We heard Jessica was sick. Can we see him?”ask Catherine

Albert looked at the cold, flat-faced man who was now officially Catherine's husband. The man seemed to have no expression whatsoever.

“Please! But please remember patients need rest” replied Albert

“Alright! Thank you so much Catherine with a big smile on her lips.

Jessica who could not see the guest who visited her, I faintly heard Catherine's voice.

“It was like the voice of Miss Catherine. But where could he possibly be here?”jessica murmured in the heart

Not over Jessica's curiosity in the guests who came to visit her, her eyes were surprised by the appearance of two humans who really did not want to meet her. Notnot now. Let alone looking back at the cold, flat-faced man as cold as a block of ice that always shook his heart. The man who was almost with her. The man who is now Catherine's legal husband.

Jessica nodded her head slowly. Catherine stood up from her seat.

“Oya doctor, there is something I should talk to you about. Can we talk outside for a minute?”ask Catherine to Albert

Catherine's question left everyone inside the inpatient room confused. But the intelligent brain of doctor Albert can capture the intent of Catherine.

“Okey. We talk outside miss” Albert replied

“Jess, I stay a while huh?”albert said as he held Jessica's shoulder.

Jessica who was not ready to be left alone with Arga seemed to hold the hand of Albert who held his shoulder.

“Please, don't go!”jessica murmured in the heart

Jessica's eyes looked good. But Albert who wanted to make room for Jessica and Arga just nodded his head slowly.

“I'll be back again. Don't worry! Okey.I came out briefly”ucap Albert

Catherine looked at the husband in passing with a smile on her lips.

“I'll make room for you both. You guys need time to talk from heart to heart”murm Catherine in heart

“I'm out for a while ya kak”pamit Catherine on the husband

Before leaving, Arga held Catherine's hand. Catherine brushed off Arga's hand.

“I'm out for a minute. Brother talk to Jessica”whisper Catherine to Arga while gently stroking her husband's burly arms with a smile on her lips.

“Let's doc!”take Catherine to Albert

Catherine and Albert leave Jessica's room. Leaving Arga and Jessica alone. The awkward atmosphere was felt between two human children who were almost united in the marriage bond.

Aware that Arga was uncomfortable with the silence between the two, Jessica began the conversation.

“Why do you just stand? Sit brother!”jessica Pinta

Arga complied and sat down on the chair next to Jessica's bed that Catherine had occupied. Both of them looked in silence. Jessica also smiled at the cold man who was always flat without expression. Jessica seemed to hold back laughter seeing the cold man as usual when she was with him first. Arga looks very awkward. Even though a few hours earlier they were still brides-to-be.

Jessica's words managed to invite a thin smile on Arga's lips. The handsome man seemed to be commenting on the smile on his handsome face.

“What still hurts?”ask Arga suddenly

“What?”jessica asked confusedly

Arga sighed slowly. He pointed at his own chest. Coded it to Jessica.

“Oh.still. Little” Jessica replied with a smile as she gestured her hand by fusing her thumb and index finger together. Jessica also blinked one eye.

Jessica's adorable look on her face made Arga smile.

“Sorry. I know I hurt your heart. You must hate me so much now. Again sorry Jessica”ucap Arga with a gentle look at Jessica.

“If I didn't love you that deep, surely this heart wouldn't hurt like this”ucap Jessica while enduring the tightness in her chest.

“But if I continue to love you and stay with you, I am sure sooner or later I will definitely get hurt deeper. Because I'm definitely not ready to lose my brother. It might be good if we split up now, so we can both move on with each other's lives. I'll learn to forget my brother. Brother take it easy, I can definitely hold on. I'll show everyone I can get through this. So brother don't worry about me!”jessica said with a trembling voice holding her eyes, which were once again at the end of her eyes.

Because looking at the man she loved so much again made Jessica's heart weak and shaky.
