A few minutes away from his bed partner last night, Arkan just woke up and found the girl was no longer there beside him. Arkan uncovers a blanket about to descend and finds a speck of dried blood on the bed sheet.
Arkan spread his gaze all over the room and sharpened his hearing towards the bathroom hoping that the girl would still clean up there.
Nihil, the sound of water gurgling is not heard. Arkan was then glued with a ring and lipstick writing on the table.
Arkan took the diamond ring and observed every inch of the Ring until he read a name there that read Dara Wilya.
Arkan turned to staring at the writing vaguely on the table and tried to read what the content of the writing was.
(Thank you, Mum. You made me sleep well last night. Sorry, I just gave you this ring. But don't worry about the price exceeding what I promised last night)
Arkan let out a rough breath. It was a pity that the girl did not wait for him to wake up first.
"Why did that woman go on a goodbye?" Arkan struggled with his own questions with answers.
Arkan cleans up and gets out. He leaves the Club' which has been deserted to return to his and Raka's Lodges. Arkan greeted his best friend Raka at that place. Raka is a very royal person to her. He's not jealous if Arkan admires all women. Even though the budget was only two million last night he was very grateful. Different from the others. They never want to be kind to him.
The young men would not rebuke him even if he rebuked first. Even their gazes were so cynical.
Raka serves breakfast while watching Arkan undress on a hanger and only bare-chested.
"Ar, who were you playing with last night. Is that woman still up?"
Arkan smiles.
"True Ka, that ting-ting woman. The honey is very delicious," said Arkan pias.
"Finally you too, that sustenance," guyon Raka.
Arkan was silent for a moment. There was a sense of resentment in him not seeing the girl again upon awakening.
"Why? you less?" Raka did not stop teasing herself.
"He's perfect, Ka. But it seems like the girl went through a lot of suffering." Arkan grabbed the towel with a look
blank.
Raka scrunched his forehead
"Suffering? meanin?"
Arkan shrugged his shoulders inexplicably. "Well, he can't come anymore, can he?"
"Well, really yeah. Your words implied hope in the girl. That girl must have made you opium!" raka shouted at Arkan who had closed the door.
Arkan grabs the ring and observes the name on it.
"Become, a pretty name as pretty as the person." Arkan placed the ring on a small hanging shelf.
Arkan smiled as he continued to observe the Ring while turning on the Shower soaking all over his body.
The girl's face last night was ringing in her mind. Even every movement of the girl's body when it was in her confinement was still real.
"The poor girl."
After bathing Arkan pinned the finger on his little finger, he thought the item would be the most beautiful memories while working there.
Finished getting dressed, Arkan approached Raka who was waiting for him at the dining table.
"I'm sorry, Ka. You have to cook continuously until I help."
"Look down, man. You also often give me pocket money."
Arkan looked at the young man who was a year older than him.
"Come on Ar, I'm already comfortable here. I don't know what kind of job I get if I leave the world I'm in." Raka's face looks sad, there are regrets that he experienced.
"I know, it's hard for you. Hearing your story alone makes my heart full. May your father recover soon?" Arkan knows that Raka's father has cancer and must have surgery. Of course Raka had to raise as much money for it. He also felt sorry for his mother who had to sell cakes around the village plus had to support and send his two younger sisters.
"Ar, your fate is not good either. You even live a kara."
Arkan nodded.
"Yes Ka, I want to meet my mother. But just where I don't know."
Raka breathed a rough breath.
"OK, stop the melo. Let's have breakfast first." Raka did not want their morning atmosphere to be chaotic due to the many problems they faced.
After breakfast, the two went for a walk. To forget the tired work they did with Arkan's big motorbike which he bought from the results of entertaining his women.
They pull over to a lake to enjoy the real clear and beautiful blue water.
"Can, if we get married. Where are you taking your wife?"
Arkan was bogged down by Raka's question until he chuckled.
"Who are people like us still thinking about getting married, Ka? don't we get heaven every night." Arkan stared intently at Raka. Both of their hair was blown by the breeze.
"Hahaha, it's very unfortunate our fate. Will this last until old age. Cook it we'll be there as long as it's there. Who wants to be the same grandpa," great-granddaughter Arkan.
"Yes most granny" Arkan said. Both of them laughed again.
Momentary silence. Dafa is getting serious.
"But Ar, did you never fall in love with someone. On one of our customers for example?"
Arkan pulled a little next to the tip of his lips.
"Okay, not yet. I just assumed they were money trees. Besides, who's the parent who would hand over his daughter to a despicable man like us." Arkan told me the truth how bad their job was.
Raka nodded.
"You're right. But what if suddenly there is a girl who wants to accept you for who you are and instead you fall in love with a girl? Are you going to shut up?"
This time Raka's words were very true. Arkan glanced at Raka for a moment then looked back at the slightly surging lake water.
"Ar, we're going to age. We definitely need someone to accompany our old days. Like them." Raka pointed to the happy little family not far from them.
A couple who took a daughter while joking.
Arkan's heart rippled to observe their happiness.
Perhaps a young entertainer like himself could feel that happiness.
"You're touched, aren't you?"
"You are clever, you make me envious to see them" Arkan murmured.
"Yes, we haven't reached that stage yet. Let's just enjoy the time now. Satisfying every woman who comes. I think it's more fun."
Arkan picks up Raka's head.
"Based on you, you forbid me to melo. But your story always makes you sad. Did you set me up, huh?" Arkan was upset by the behavior of his best friend.
"Hehehe.. Let us not be happy only, Ar," raka.
