CHAPTER 42 Trapped in the Past

The next day, very early in the morning Kevin left the office and returned home. When he reached home, again Bi Nani who was cleaning the living room, was surprised to see Kevin who returned home.

“For master!” sapa Bi Nani's.

“Morning Bi. Marvel still sleeping?” ask Kevin as he passes.

“Lho is not the same sir huh? Or indeed in with mister Miko?”

“What aunt means?” ask Kevin who stopped his steps immediately.

“Kan from last night Den Marvel has not returned master, even Miss Keira also has not returned from last night.”

“What? So they haven't come home from last night?” kevin said with round eyes.

“I-iya sir.” Replied Bi Nani stuttered. Bi Nani was also worried.

Kevin then reached into the phone in his pocket and pressed Miko's name. Miko, who is having breakfast with Gina, immediately receives an incoming call from Kevin in loudspeaker mode.

“What's up, Kevin?”

“Halo, Mik. Marvel's the same Keira there isn't?” kevin asked in a panicked voice. Miko and Gina smiled wryly when they heard Kevin's voice across the street. The two were inexhaustible, how could Kevin now ask the whereabouts of his son.

“Yesterday Marvel will call Keira and she saved Keira's number but why not in the contact list yes,” Kevin murmured while scrolling the K alphabet many times. Then Kevin tried to look at the outgoing call history and Kevin was very surprised when there was an outgoing call with MY WIFE's name with a heart emoticon.

“This must be Marvel's doing, how could he possibly name Keira's contacts like this. But I'll try. They both really make me dizzy.” Kevin continued to babble with all the worry that was lodged in his mind. Kevin finally tries to call Keira but can't because Keira's phone is dead.

Keira is making breakfast for Marvel. Keira noticed there was bread and chocolate jam so she decided to make toast. Not to forget he also made breakfast for Ferdi, actually Keira was lazy to do it but because Ferdi had helped him so he also returned Ferdi's kindness.

Three servings of toast, one glass of warm milk for Marvel, a cup of Keira hot tea and a hot vanilla latte for Ferdi. Keira is unaware that she still remembers Ferdi's favorite drink.

Once everything was ready, Keira then woke up Marvel. Marvel really slept really well.

“Marvel, wake up dear,” said Keira with her soft caress. Hearing Keira's voice, Marvel slowly awoke. He rubbed his eyes and his eyes rolled. A strange place for Marvel.

“Mah, we are?”

“We're in Om Ferdi's apartment. It's you who forced yourself to come,” said Keira trying to remind.

“Let's wake up, mama has made breakfast for you.” Keira.

“Thank you yes, mah.”

“Iya equally.” Keira then takes Marvel out of the room. Outside, Ferdi was awake and cutting fruit.

“Good morning Keira! Good morning, Marvel!” greet Ferdi with a big smile. Marvel simply stared coldly at Ferdi without responding to him.

“This I've cut fruit for you. Sorry yes I woke up late, I should have prepared breakfast for you guys but instead you Kei made it.”

“It's okay. Anyway I'm here hitchhiking,” he replied ketus.

“Thank you also you still remember my favorite drink,” said Ferdi as he sipped the vanilla latte while staring at Keira.

“Sial! Why do I remember anyway? I should have made him cyanide coffee only,” his grunts in heart.

“I know Kei you still remember. You could have made me juice, tea or milk but you chose vanilla latte,” Ferdi murmured inwardly.

“Alright but finish breakfast first.”

“Let me take you guys after this.”

Hearing Keira's words, Ferdi could only nod by forcing his smile. He could not resist Keira's words because he realized he was wrong. After breakfast, Keira and Marvel return home in a taxi.

At home, Kevin was panicked even he called the police but the police refused his presence because it had not been 2x24 hours. Bi Nani and Mbak Rima were also worried. They even tried to call Keira but still couldn't.

“Miko must know something but she purposely hid it from me,” muttered Kevin. An hour has Kevin on the verge of panic and worry. Sitting, standing, pacing around trying to contact Keira many times but still unable to.

“Bi, I'll be out looking for them. I can't wait like this.”

“Good sir. Hopefully they will be found soon,” said Bi Nani with a trembling voice holding back tears. Not yet Kevin stepped out, Marvel and Keira also came.

 

“Den Marvel-Miss Keira!” exclaim Bi Nani and Mbak Rima together. They then approached and took turns hugging Keira and Marvel.

“Thank God Den Marvel and Non Keira are fine. We are all very worried,” said Mbak Rima.

“Where have you guys been? Your phone too why can't it be called?'' kevin's voice began to rise.

“My phone is out of battery,” is short Keira.

“Marvel, where are you from? Why would play just go away? You want to be a dissident? Yes?” kevin's emotions are out of control. Keira clasped Marvel's hand tightly, trying to appease Marvel not to be swayed by his papa's anger.

“Can you speak more slowly sir?” sahut Keira's.

“Mama Keira is not wrong! Papa is wrong! Bad papa! I hate papa!” Marvel was angry and expressed his annoyance. He then ran to his room.  Bi Nani and Mbak Rima also chose to follow Marvel rather than hear the quarrel between Kevin and Keira. Keira stared at Kevin. Keira really could no longer wait to face Kevin's stubborn and selfish attitude. Keira then pulled Kevin's arm firmly and led him to the guest room downstairs. He doesn't want to be seen by Marvel.

“Why did you bring me here? You want to try to seduce me so I can forgive you? Yes?”

Keira let out a long sigh, not thinking out of Kevin's way of mind.

“Where do you feel as a father? Don't you think about Kevin's feelings? All those years you disappointed him. Don't you think for a kid of Marvel's age that desperately needs a mother's affection. And how did Marvel feel growing up without a mother's affection? Think about it, sir! I'm surprised by your mindset. What is wrong MARVEL? She's just a small one who doesn't know anything.’’ Angry Keira who can not be restrained.

“You have no right to interfere! You're just an outsider coming into our lives.”

“I have the right to interfere for this one week because I am his mother. Can you feel how hurt Marvel is? You've infused her with tremendous pain. What makes you so cynical that you refuse to even celebrate his birthday/what sir? Don't blame me if I say rude,” Keira said as she pulled Kevin's shirt collar.
