Deddy's Worries

That afternoon, Deddy had not sent Mario a message, nor called him. Usually when you can't go home fast, Deddy always doesn't forget to call. Just to get Mario to eat. It seems like Deddy was really angry at Mario's attitude yesterday, Mario also sent a short message to the man.

"Dad, daddy's busy, huh?"

Mario sends the message, hoping Deddy will reply. He wants all the tension between him and Deddy to end and they can make it back up.

Suddenly, he received a notification.

"Message not sent.”

Mario sent her back, but the notifications stayed the same. Mario tries to call Deddy's number, for fear of anything happening to his cross-day father.

"Sorry, your pulse is not enough to make this call."

"Fuck, I think daddy why-why. Turns out my pulse abis.”

Mario grabbed his wallet which was located on the table. He then went out of the house and visited the mobile phone counter, which was at the end of the road near the entrance gate of the housing complex.

But it turns out the counter is closed, other than there is no more. There is also a place that is quite far away and is not possible to be reached by foot. Mario tried to find in another cluster, still in the residential complex area. Again the counter closed.

"What people do, on what money?" grumble Mario pissed.

He turned around, intending to find the closest distance to his house. But then he found a place called,

"Wartels?"

Mario was stunned, especially when he saw the phone picture on it.

"Worknobs?"

"That's what's a phone sale?" mumbling again.

Out of curiosity Mario approached. He saw a lot of people calling in there. On a partition containing a telephone device.

"Oh so this is the place to call.” said Mario. He knew there used to be a place like this.

"Please, very tacky.”

There was a person who suddenly sneered at Mario.

"Yes, I don't know if there's this. In my era in the future there is no such thing.” said Mario fiercely, he then stepped inside.

"Mas."

Suddenly someone touched his shoulder.

"Yes." Yeah." Mario looked towards the man.

"Ngantri, mas." said the man again.

Mario looked back, it turned out that the line was so long.

"Buset, long really. Dah kayak ngantri want to buy boba.” he said later.

Mario retreated slowly before being reviled. Even he did not join the queue, and instead resumed his steps toward his home.

On a public phone near the park, Mario stops and tries to call Deddy with some coins he carries.

The phone is connected.

"Hallo, who is this?"

Deddy's voice sounded across.

"Dad, it's Mario."

Deddy sighed.

"Why?"

Deddy's tone changed, from ordinary to slightly cold.

"Daddy why not SMS Mario, don't call Mario today?. This morning also did not wake up Mario, did not pay also.”

"His son not in this?. Yesterday you used to not ngabarin daddy all day.”

"Dad, Mario apologized. But daddy didn't accept it. Even go into the room, slam the door.”

"You're sorry it's because you really realize you're wrong, or just let daddy not get mad?"

This time Mario was silent, to be honest both were right. He knows he's wrong, but he apologizes for wanting Deddy to no longer be angry with him.

"Yes, daddy wants to work first.”

"Dad, ntar first. Cancel our first thing.”

"Mario, daddy's busy.”

"Mario doesn't want daddy to be angry. Mario just wants to,..”.

"Braaaa."

A loud bang sounded, suddenly Mario no longer spoke.

"Mario.?"

There's no answer.

"Mariooo?. Hello, Mario are you denger daddy?"

Still no answer.

"Mario, answer...!"

At once Deddy panicked, making the whole office wonder.

"What's wrong with Deddy?" ask one of his co-workers.

"My son, sir.”

"Mario?. Why her?"

"I don't know, I just heard the sound of a collision and he didn't speak again on the phone. I have to go home.”

"Yes, be careful sir.” said another co-worker again.

Deddy nodded then grabbed his car keys, he hurriedly headed for the parking lot. After finding his car, he headed straight to the house. Because he himself does not know where Mario is currently.

But at a time like this, Mario must have called from a pay phone not far from their home. The boy was sure to have come home from school.

Deddy drove the car in a state of panic, his heart was so worried. He was afraid that something might happen to Mario. He went down the road after the road, fortunately the road was fairly quiet. So that he can freely drive, at high speed.

When crossing the nearest public phone from his house, Deddy immediately stopped the car. There was an accident at that place.

Deddy immediately thought, maybe Mario was the one who called on the device. Deddy was even more panicked, especially many police who were now in that place.

"Excuse me sir.”

Deddy approached one of the police officers, who was busy putting up a police line at the scene.

"Yes sir.”

"What was the accident victim?"

"It's been taken to the hospital, sir.”

"The hospital over there?"

Deddy's voice panicked.

"Yes sir.”

"Ok thanks sir."

Deddy got back in the car and started the engine. His heart was pounding, and his mind was now running.

He also hurriedly left the place. It was intended to visit the hospital, where the victims of the accident were taken.

He did not even realize that he was driving at high speed. So he wanted to quickly get to the hospital, and asked about the condition of the victim.

His car continued to go, until then he met someone who was walking in a hurry. Deddy was surprised, he stopped his car and got out. Then he approached the man.

"Mariooo."

His screams were full of emotion, Mario was aware of Deddy's presence.

"Dad?"

Deddy hugged Mario immediately, watching him all over the child's body carefully.

"You're okay, right?. You didn't hit it, did you?"

"A, not Dad. It was a collision, but Mario dodged it first. So it's not.”

"Hhhhh."

Deddy breathed a sigh of relief, he was already very worried.

"Yes, let's go home.”

Deddy had his son get in the car. Shortly thereafter, the car returned to the house.

Arriving at home, Deddy still can't believe Mario is okay. He kept asking about his son's condition.

"Mario you really are okay?" ask them again when they want to go into the house.

"No dad, this Mario can still walk. No injuries no one gets."

"He's in there...!"

Mario stepped into the house. He put his wallet and phone on the dinner table.

"Mario has not yet lifted the clothesline, it's cloudy."

"Not yet dad, it wants to be lifted.”

Mario went into the backyard and lifted the clothesline. Suddenly Brian called, he rushed inside to pick up the phone.

"Hallo."

"Mario."

Brian's voice sounded trembling.

"Bri, why are you?" ask Mario wonder.

"Mario."

"Yes, why Bri?. Lo why?"

Brian did not answer, immediately Mario ran out. At the same time, Cavin was in front of his house.

"Why?" asked Cavin who was astonished to see the panicked expression on Mario's face.

"Ga knows Brian, he called me but just called me by my name."

"Let's hunt...!" sama later.

Cavin ran to Brian's house, when they saw Brian glued. Stare at some of the people, who seem to have just moved across from her house.

"Bri?"

Brian was still silent and continued to stare there, Mario and Cavin also looked in that direction. They were silent, just like Brian.

"Bri, it's going to be a joke when you're young" said Mario with a stunned face. He could hardly believe what he saw.

"Yes, I've seen his picture on your home album." Cavin said.

The two young Brian parents looked busy moving things around. Brian's eyes glazed over, even slowly his tears fell down the two corners of his eyes.

His parents suddenly turned their heads, and they stared at each other for a moment. Then they stepped towards Brian, Mario, and also Cavin who was standing.

Shortly after, Brian's two cross-age parents came out of the house. Brian hurriedly wiped away his tears.

"Good day."

Both Brian's biological parents greeted, while Brian's two cross-age parents greeted him cordially.

"Good day."

"We're new neighbors. I'm Brandon, and this is my wife Laras."

"Good day."

The two men greeted Brian's cross-age parents. Brian himself was unceasingly watching his biological mother.

It had been a long time since he had met the woman, the last time he was three years old. Even so his mother only saw him from a distance, because the father forbade Brian to be close to his mother.

"Oh yes, this is our son. And these are his two friends."

Brian's cross-age parents introduced their son, as did Mario and Cavin.

"Hallo."

Brian forced a smile, it felt like he wanted to scatter and hug his mother. But all that he held, because here his status is only a neighbor's child. He doesn't want to cause misunderstandings.
