Chapter: 9 Alya Still Upset

While Alex was left by his wife and children for a week and he felt lonely because usually the kid joked with him. Arya her son who is still sitting in 1st grade Elementary who is calm and quiet usually if she comes from the office always welcomes her with a warm embrace.

Alex was seen at 5 pm sitting on the porch of the house with hot coffee and he seemed to miss his two children. Alex also tried to contact Alya but the phone connection seems not to be lifted there. Alex also thought maybe his children and his wife were going around relatives who were close to his parents.

Alex is seen contacting Bram's friend to make sure he accompanies Alex to stay at his house.

{"Later 7 o'clock I came to your house Lex,"} Bram said on his phone.

"Mas, quiet yes, if not children," said Miss Vienna who suddenly came with a steamed sponge. Miss Vienna also saw Alex who was sipping coffee without any food on the table.

"Yes, ma'am" he answered with a big smile.

"It just so happened that there was a steamed sponge and Diana made it earlier. Come on, cobain," said Miss Vienna by putting a steamed sponge made by Diana the child.

Looks like the sponge seemed to arouse taste and finally Alex was without thinking long tasting the sponge is still warm. After a few pieces he greedy the sponge, it looks like he enjoyed it.

Miss Vienna also seemed happy because Alex was so greedy to eat the sponge and Miss Vienna also thought Alex had not eaten.

"Well, how nice" Miss Vienna smiled as she looked at Alex who was enjoying the sponge.

"Great son, thank God" he replied.

"Eating rice, I happen to cook vegetables as well as pepes of fish and sambelnya. Anyway you don't turn it down." the neighbor patted Alex on the shoulder as he passed to pick up the rice and side dishes. Even though Alex had not answered whether he wanted to or not and Miss Vienna was as fast as lightning he passed from before Alex.

A few minutes later Miss Vienna seemed to have brought rice and side dishes and the portions she brought were quite a lot

"Now, who knows if there are friends who stay here later, so they do not need to buy food outside" said Miss Vienna who suddenly came with a meal.

Suddenly Alex blushed embarrassed by the service provided by Miss Vienna. He felt Miss Vienna was too kind to him and Alex also looked awkward with the kindness of his neighbor.

'Mom, don't bother Alex to be embarrassed" she said nervously.

"Don't refuse sustenance" said Miss Vienna.

Miss Vienna dragged her footsteps into the house. Then he put the food in the living room because it happened that Alex's house was open.

Miss Vienna looks no longer awkward to enter the neighboring house. Although Alya the wife is not at home and Alex also thinks Miss Vienna is like his own family, so Alex is not hesitant. Likewise with Miss Vienna already considers the Alex family like a brother even the closeness of Alex's child is so close to the Vienna Family.

"Your wife said the day after you just got home!" said Miss Vienna was seen coming out of the house.

It seems Alya gave news to Miss Vienna, that the day after she will go home. While Alex the husband seems not to know if the wife will go home the day after tomorrow because Alex knows Alya's return next week, because Arya the child is still a long school holiday. It looks like Alex was filled with confusion with the schedule of the return of the wife.

"Maybe Alya there needs to be an expedited return" replied Miss Vienna.

Alya's return to Bandung will be accelerated because Yana's son from the brother wants to work and both Alya's parents and the brother want to come along to deliver. And this was not conveyed by Alya to Alex because they were not getting along or not communicating intensely on the phone.

"Mom, come here for a second!" shouted the husband of Miss Vienna on the porch of her house.

It seems that the husband of Bu Vienna named Mr. Hasan called the wife and finally Miss Vienna was saying goodbye from the presence of Alex who was still thinking about news from Bu Vienna with the schedule of the return of the wife.

The clock shows at 7 p.m., and Bram shows up. Bram is always on time if an appointment comes and this is what makes Alex feel at home with Bram.

"Your wife and your son came home the day after tomorrow?" bram asked while sipping on the black coffee that was just served by Alex.

It seems that Alex was a little surprised by what was said by his friend because the news of the return of the wife had reached the ears of the friend. Just like the news received by Miss Vienna, while to Alex the wife there is no news at all. On the phone this afternoon was seen not adopted by the wife even though Alex missed his children.

"Perhaps, said Miss Vienna had said that Alya would return the day after tomorrow," he replied.

Bram looks like he is touched by a sense of wonder because Alex does not know the return of his wife the day after tomorrow. But to her Alya gave the news. Bram thinks maybe Alya and Alex have not gotten along because the quarrel between his friend and his wife is quite big.

Although Alex was his friend but Bram did not side with Alex but he still sided with the right side, the wife of Alex. Bram already knew everything that happened about his friend's household honestly from Alya the wife instead of Alex the friend.

"Lex, I pray that your household gets along well and you don't play girls anymore" Bram said, patting the friend's shoulder.

Actually Bram seemed hesitant to talk like that for fear of offending his friend. But this he needs to say so that his friend thinks mature and does not repeat the affair again.

Alex seemed to have no idea what his friend had just said. It is undeniable that his friend is a mature figure even though he has not married.

Suddenly a message appears from Alex's cell phone and appears from the phone screen a message appears from Alya the wife, and is seen giving the message not the wife but Arya the child.

{"Papa, the phone was yes, Arya was out,"} wrote the child's message.

In the mind Alex thought why the one who gave the message was not Alya the wife but Arya the child, and this becomes a big question mark in the husband if the wife still holds a sense of annoyance against him.

{"Yes, Honey! You haven't slept yet,"} reply Alex's message to the child. Alex feels happy if Arya the child gives a message to him because the child is learning to reply to messages on the WhatsApp application.

{"I and the children will go home the day after, and sorry the phone wants to be charged first because lowbat,"} seems to give a reply message is Alya the wife.
