"Tasya..! How many years have we not seen each other?" Welcome him not to accept my residence. I accepted his hand job and re-carved a smile.
Where should I start?
"Want dinner here?" Suddenly tararkku.
Don't ask me how surprised I am with my own voice. Whahuh? I offered him a meal? Where could he possibly want to? Who am I anyway, so familiar pretentious to offer him to eat everything.
"Can." He said as he stood up from the sofa. I drove him like I respect a guest.
Black hair cut neatly. Brownish eagle eyes plus thick eyebrows. Wearing a black shirt and jacket that covers the athletic body of an MME boxer. Amazingly, that person is sitting to my left right now.
Ali's. An amazing person for me. How come he is now beside me and sitting together at this dinner. Since how many years we have not met, it feels like nostalgia for the past Junior High.
"It's the first time, Ali wants to have dinner here." I poured drinking water in each glass.
"And the one who nawarin dinner Tasya, yes definitely want dong." Ali smiled at me.
"Oh yeah? Know that, it should have been Tasya who asked you to stay longer and have dinner." Father Sahut.
Looks like someone missed the dinner table talk this time. Dhani. Walk down the stairs and immediately sit on my left. This time there were no glasses perched in front of his pair of sharp eyes.
With a bland smile, he gathered a flash of smile at Ali. And Dad immediately introduced Dhani to Ali. It was not only Ali who paid attention to the explanation of who Dhani was. My brother and I did not miss listening.
Because honestly I didn't really know him that much beyond his brief introduction from Dad back then. And from what the father said mini mala, it can be concluded that Dhani is a distant cousin whose parents both died, and was entrusted to this house for two months. Just two months.
"Thank you so much for dinner, and, actually, today is the last day before I go on a business that's probably going to be a little longer than before." Obviously Ali.
"Ali go again?" I asked like a child sulking spoiled.
"Yes. But this time, you can contact me more often through Gal's e-mail." He said a little entertaining.
"Gall?"
"Yes. The email wasn't personally mine, but we could communicate from there." Clearly again.
I was weaving my lips, holding back the teary eyes of the moment. Somehow, being near Ali I felt calm, and when I saw Ali, it reminded me of my mother. But Ali's hand on my shoulder calmed all my worries.
I was the closest I had been to Ali. Rista was quite familiar with Ali, but different from me who was too close to Ali. To make me have to release Ali for the second time with this unwilling feeling.
"Tashya..." Ali's hand rubbed the top of my head.
I looked up and looked into his sharp eyes. Ali hugged me tightly, very tightly. It was even tighter until I was almost unwilling to let go. The farewell this time was somehow heartbreaking. Why did I become like this?
"Gal should know all the information I'm asking about anything." I said with a threatening tone.
"Okay. Okay... Gal will always answer Tasya's email. No exception." Ali chuckled and ruffled my hair looking at these teary eyes slowly dripping the water.
“Tasya still save it?” Bisik Ali lirih's.
“Iya. But I haven't used it at all.” Reply whispered.
“Hopefully till the end Tasya will not use it. Remember, use only during emergencies.” He said again, which I replied with a nod.
Ali let go of his embrace, he stared at Dhani who was standing behind Dad. Weirdo? Dhani looked at Ali like a dislike. Or like a gaze that shows arrogance and a sense of not wanting to submit. What weirdness is this?
"Everything.I go first. Please take care of Tasya. He's the best." His exclamation while walking towards the dark-glazed black car that immediately came out of the yard of the house followed by several cars behind him.
The moonlight that night was very bright but still comfortable. It was as if it had been a pleasure to deliver Ali's departure and was like a consolation to me. When all came back into the house, I still enjoyed the moonlight that night and smiled at the thought of my mother and the warmth of being with her.
When the cold of the night began to pierce, I too mausk into the house. Head to the room to enjoy the moonlight longer. It really is like a suggestion. The moonlight gave me energy, replenishing the energy I had spent all day.
Out of all the strangeness I faced and out of logic, only the moonlight comforted me until late.
"Dad, he knew her name was Andhika. Andhika is Rista's friend. Andhika's goal is to come here, because she wants to talk about something important to me." Said Rista in front of Dad. But judging from his expression, there was a hint of uncharacteristic fear and doubt.
"Yes, I'm Carista's father. Please sit down." Said Dad cold and serious.
"yeah. I'll go back first, yeah.." Pamit Rista went.
A moment the hand of the man\ named Andhika held him away. But after Dad sneered at his second hand, Andhika immediately took off, letting Rista go.
"How long have you been in a relationship with my son?" Ask me seriously.
"Seven days." Answer Brother Andhika honestly.
Father chuckled softly at the man\-man's straightforward answer.
"When did you know my son?" Ask Dad again is still a fierce face like when facing his men.
"Since making friends at Junior High School."
"Why did you get into a relationship seven days ago?"
"Because I wasn't worthy enough to have a relationship like this." Replied Andhika calmly.
"So you mean, you deserve it now?" Ask Dad once again in an intimidating cold tone.
"Easily or not, I know nothing better than your own view." Reply Brother Andhika without sounding the slightest sense of doubt.
"Then why do you dare to approach my son now?"
"Because I promised your daughter I'd propose to her as soon as I got back from work."
"What's the reason you want to be with my son?" Shut up for a moment, no one makes a sound at all.
"There's no excuse."
"How dare you propose to my son? You know, a lot of men\ men who come to my son's nightar but I refuse." Dad started raising his voice.
"Now, what have you promised my son? At least I can keep your promise other than to accept this proposal." Said Dad firmly.
