THREE MEN FROM THE VILLAGE

THREE MEN FROM THE VILLAGE
TPDD 247 (Rizal)

This morning was different from the usual morning. Rizal is overwhelmed with uneasy feelings when his employer threatens to carry his parents' name. From the threat that finally Rizal decided to choose to go home.

After the serious talks with Miranda were over, Rizal returned to the room to prepare himself to go home. How shocked he was when he checked his phone and read the incoming messages. Tomi did not play with her words. A message from the older brother implying the anger and disappointment of his parents. I don't know what his parents heard, but Rizal believes his parents are not okay at this time.

In his seat, Rizal fell silent. His activities in packing clothes, stopped immediately after reading a message from the brother. Rizal really has to strengthen his heart. It's all her fault. And he himself has to face it.

"Well, what's so dumb?" a soft voice resuscitated Rizal's daydream. The young man looked towards the source of the voice. Miranda approached with a smile and began to help pack Rizal's remaining items.

"It looks like your bag will not be enough, take the same string there, ask Mbak Sari," ordered Miranda. Without replying, Rizal immediately got up with a shunt out of his room.

Miranda was astonished by Rizal's attitude. The young man looked sad and confused. Then Miranda looked at Rizal's phone and took it.

Miranda's eyes were rounded at the sight of a message from a man named Andini. "If you want to be ashamed, mending kill your parents only, Zal. Let them not be ashamed to know what you've done."

Miranda's chest rumbled. Now he is sure, surely Rizal's attitude is different because of the message. Who's Andini? Is that her brother's name? Miranda asked. As Miranda knew, Rizal did have one brother and one sister. But Rizal never mentioned his name.

Miranda immediately turned off Rizal's phone and put it in its original place. Shortly thereafter Rizal returned with a box and a plastic rope. There is no meaningful conversation from either. They are drifting in each other's minds.

Until it was all over, and the time to go home came. The online taxi that will take Rizal to the terminal has come. Rizal immediately prepared and said goodbye to the house except for Mr. Tomi.

"Mbak Sari, I say goodbye" said Rizal as he greeted the maid.

"Yes, Zal, be careful. Hopefully the problem is quickly resolved," replied Mbak Sari.

"Aamiin, thank you, Ma'am," replied Rizal, now he faces Miranda. "Non, am I saying yes?"

Miranda tried to smile even though her heart was too heavy to let go of her beloved driver. "Yes, heart of heart? say my apology to your parents, Zal."

"Yes, No."

They then hug each other, in order to relieve tightness in their chest even if only for a moment. Rizal then got into a taxi that would take him. It did not take long, the taxi drove off leaving the Miranda residence.

"Your dark lover is home?" tomi asked as soon as she saw Miranda about to enter the room. "How did his parents feel?"

"Why look at me like that? It's not wrong if I also tell the truth to Rizal's family that he's a destroyer of the household footing."

"Whatever you want to say. I don't care!" miranda retorted sharply and she got into the news.

Brak!

Tomi just grinned. He was satisfied. At least he's not the only one accused of causing trouble. He also wants Miranda and Rizal to get into trouble too.

A few minutes later, Rizal was sitting on the bench not far from the bus that would take him home. His mind was still muddled as he thought about what was happening to his parents at this moment. He only told his brother that he was coming home today. But he did not dare to ask more. Let it be when you get home.

"Rizal!" a voice broke his daydream. He turned to the source of the voice.

"How come?" rizal said he was surprised. "What are you doing here, Bal?"

"You going home, are you?" answer the man who turned out to be Iqbal, his own best friend.

"I'm the same, too, going home. Hilaah, how come it's with gini?" rizal felt shocked.

"Wooh! What a coincidence?" sahut Iqbal, then he sat on the same bench with his best friend. "Why are you going home, Zal? Is there a problem at home?"

"Well that's it," answered Rizal listlessly. "They're angry with me, because I can't keep their trust as long as I'm here."

"Entar first" said Iqbal with a slightly surprised face. "Kok the problem is the same as me? Or did you come home because you had a problem with your employer?"

"Loh! How do you know?" now Rizal who looks surprised to hear Iqbal's question.

"God! Turns out our problems are the same, hahaha ..."

"Well!"
