Orange light shines so brightly on the western horizon. Slowly but surely the sun began to sink indicating that the afternoon will disappear.

On a path full of people passing by, two children were walking towards their home.

On the way they saw a slave who fell while carrying luggage that looked so heavy.

"I'm sorry sir"

The master he mentioned was angry and approached him with a whip drifting towards him.

"Beware.this is more valuable than you"

The two children looked at him with sad eyes. These two children are Nikky and Viale.

"That's really cruel"

Responding to the voice coming from Viale. Nikky quickly shook her head in sadness.

"They are slaves, they should be treated as such"

"Nicki!"

Heard such a cold answer from Nikky. Viale looked at him sharply.

"Look Nikky, even if they're slaves it's not worth treating like that"

Nikky looked back to where the tormented slave was doing the hard work of carrying things.

"They're human too" Viale continued in a clear voice.

Nikky widened her eyes and looked at Viale in surprise.

"They're vampires not humans"

"Where do you know that ?"

"You can see their eyes are red and if you see clearly there are also small wings that they hide under their clothes" Nikky told him.

"But they have minds, they also have hearts"

When we spoke the master of the slave owner looked at us. Because Viale's voice was loud enough that he could hear.

"Don't hear.. They're vampires, they're not human, they look like us, but they'll never be human.You see they can't eat anything but blood"

"But-"

"Son, if you liken them to humans you're definitely in trouble. The royal army won't let you go after knowing what you're talking about"

The master looks angry at Viale. Nikky quickly interrupted what she was talking about.

"Our master is just a child who knows nothing but play.so sir please let us go"

Hearing Nikky's words, this master calmed down again and snorted in annoyance. "You'd better go home.The day is starting at night. Remember don't let your mind be-"

"We understand sir, so we'll go"

Nikky had not yet finished her words..

If he heard her grievances again Viale would be frightened by her gaze. Even today Viale is holding on tightly to Nikky's back shirt.

Nikky walks away with Viale still holding her shirt.

Nikky stroked her head hoping that her fear would go away.

"Viale is like a weak woman" Nikky said with a smile.

"I am a girl!" Viale replied with annoyance upon hearing Nikky's words.

Nikky looked around and said "Where are the women ?"

"Me!"

Nikky laughed at Viale's irritated face which was so cute and slowly Viale also laughed.

Such a beautiful sound of laughter filled the entire dining room.

"To think of a monkey as your friend is outrageous" Bibi said with a laugh as she put food on the table.

"I think it was Deril it wasn't" Viale quickly denied.

"You are evil to equate Deril with monkeys" Nikky said with a smile recalling the moment when playing hide and seek a monkey emerged from the bush.

Viale thought it was Deril but it was a monkey.

"Deril does look like that. Even his father also looks like a gorilla" Reply uncle Viale.

"Darling, it's not good to say such evil things" Bibi replied softly.

"Hey that's a fact, and you're laughing about it" too"

"I'm not-" said the aunt withholding her mouth not to let out her laugh even her body trembled at holding it back.

"Forget about that let's eat" said the uncle when the table was full of food.

This moment was always something Nikky liked.

The sound of bells was so loud that everyone heard it.

The three bells struck had the meaning to gather in the town square. The entire community rushed over that morning.

"Mom why are we called here" Viale said with eyes still sleepy.

The sunlight has just appeared which is where many majority of people just wake up from their soft mattress.

"I don't know too dear" replied the aunt to Viale.

Nikky saw where the stage used to deliver the speech now contained many people.

Have full armor on their bodies and not to forget also the sword on their waist.

They brought a woman with a body full of bruises.

"Today something has happened in the royal palace"

The knight's face became unsightly to look at. He looked at the woman with anger.

"The king is dead"

His voice was so loud that the entire population froze and could not say anything about this shocking news.

"This woman is the royal servant who killed the king"

Residents were still confused by what was really going on and stared straight at the designated woman.

"This woman was exposed to a terrible skill from Vampires called Charm (Enchantment) in which a person was hypnotized to do as he was told"

The woman was silent.

Is he still in the skill or is he conscious ?.

She slowly smiled without guilt.

"We royal knights now forbid the Vampires to stay alive... They are dangerous creatures"

When he said like that the whole vampire slave was brought onto the stage with his hands tied.

The royal knight approached them with a sword that had been removed from its sheath.

"Punish our lives"

"No.."

"I still want to live"

All the vampires were terrified and begged for mercy for their lives and some even attempted to escape.

There were also those who tried to fight but because on their necks there was a slave necklace and made them unable to bring out their strength or skill.

All the stilts became a sea of blood with corpses lying dormant everywhere.

"Mother!"

Viale clenched towards his mother in fear because of the terrible sight he saw.

The entire citizens were unable to do anything and just remained silent with their bodies covered in cold sweat.

"Now it's finished, let's continue the last stage"

The knights took out a red stone from their pockets.

"This stone will light up when touched by a vampire.. So to look for vampires in disguise among the inhabitants of this stone would be a pointer, so I hope not to get out of the ko-plaza"

Before he finished his words someone had dashed out of the entourage of citizens.

Instantly, an arrow struck his leg. The man who ran fell down in pain.

His head was also hit by an arrow quickly without having the person scream in pain.

"If anyone ran away from the town square then he would be considered a vampire and would be executed on the spot immediately"

Sorry if this story is complicated. Because I want to make this chapter look memorable. Although there is still a time skip marked with (..) three times :v.

Because this Nikky will be a character that may be needed in the future.. Maybe. :').

Furthermore, Nikky's story is still so sorry to wait for the main story of the three people.

So please be patient..
