That night Chanda had to attend the award ceremony as the best writer thanks to her works that are still loved by loyal readers. Rajendra attended an award ceremony for renowned scientists held at the same hotel. 

At first Chanda wanted to accompany Rajendra, but the man even said chanda could come if the Chanda awards show was over, he did not want chanda to miss the show just for him. Chanda also according to because he himself had promised his editor a long time ago so that he could not cancel the promise.
