This Is Love

This Is Love

I prepared an alcoholic drink at a small table in the living room. While Lisa goes to see Mr. Diggels.

But what I don't understand, rodents aren't actually Lisa's best friend!

“So next week, you will go to Houston. What's for?"

“He wants me to give an interview for him while he is dealing with some business he has there.”

“Ah, fantastic!”

"Yes, I'm glad to do it! The more time passes, the more interesting the work!”

"Circuited?! I told you so!”

“I worked with Mark on a project today. It's great to be working at the same level as him.”

"I'll be making an appointment for you soon!"

“There's still room for that! I'd be very happy if the grumpy secretary in the hall had to make that appointment for me.”

“Sweet revenge...”

“How will you go to Houston? With planes?"

“With private jet, if you want to know!”

"Yes God! You have to give me all the details!!”

"Surely!!"

“The bottom line is we leave at 5am. Well, at least Jake will pick me up..”.

“Jake?”

"Yes, that's Reynolds' driver."

“Oh... So you mean you will be taken to the jet by Limousine.... My poor dear, life is really unfair to you, right...?!”

I looked to the side while taking the olives.

“Then, let's drink for you who will fly by private jet, beb!”

We clink our glasses, giggle.

“Imagine all the things that can happen in jet..?”

“Yes, you can watch movies on big screen TV, sleep in extra comfortable seats, work on your file..”.

"Or you can have it, soar to the seventh heaven ..."

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Lisa's... What did I just tell you?"

"Oh come! I'm just kidding!"

"If you can avoid putting lustful ideas in my head, it'll make things easier for me when I have to get on that plane with Reynolds ..."

“Mmh... You know what you ask of me is difficult..”.

Lisa lay on the sofa, a mischievous expression on her face. There goes.

“One time, there was a girl friend and I was comparing the most unusual places to have sex.

I drank a sip, my cheeks flushed.

"And I happened to have done it on the plane..."

"really?"

“Ya... With a super sexy man, I met during a trip to the West Indies.”

“Well, actually it's not a fun thing. We didn't have much space, we kept bumping into each other, it was really awkward,

total disaster!”

I laughed at my friend's secret.

"What about you?"

"What?! Me…? I don't know…"

"Ha ha ha! Oh no, you can't! you can't play shy with me!"

“Uh... I just... I'll check my cooking first..”.

"Yes right! A coward!"

I went to the kitchen to check my dishes.

It's ready!

“Yah, rather than saying nonsense. Come eat, little naughty lady!”

This morning I received an email from Reynolds announcing that we were leaving next Monday.

He needs me to prepare the paperwork for the business deal he has to sign in Houston.

After a few hours and feeling a little lonely, I decided to go to the break room on the 42nd floor, hoping to meet someone I knew.

In the elevator, I recalled everything in my head, I had less than a week to prepare

this trip is with Reynolds.

A week to calm down.

Stepping out of the elevator, I hit Matt.

"Hey, Angel!"

“Hai, Matt!”

"Do I owe you anything? To get an executive assistant to come visit?"

“Suddenly I just want to see you here. Do you want coffee?"

He smiled and drove me to the coffee machine.

While I was choosing what I was going to drink, Matt leaned gently towards me and whispered.

"I'll tell you, you can't leave without me, can you?"

“I can't fool you, huh? I miss you and your subtle humor, up there, in my gadingku tower.”

Matt chuckles at me.

“Ahhhh... Angel! I miss your kindness so much!”

“Do not say that you, err... how should I say it... Your new college boy did not give you polish.?.?”.

I raised an eyebrow at him, feeling proud of my little dig.

"Here he is rather ... man."

Matt grunting.

"Yes…"

"Come on, don't put on a face like that, I

sure everything's gonna be okay with your new partner."

“Mmm.. yeah..”.

“No one will be able to replace my charming little co-worker who left me to join Great Manitou.”

I looked at him, amused.

“Ah silence! If she was a pretty blonde, you wouldn't say the same!”

"I would've preferred it if the new partner was a girl, but he would never be you."

“Argh, that's so sweet! You want something, right? What is ...?”

“Yes, you can match me up with that little secretary who's a bitch on your floor. I'm sure as soon as she uncovers her hair, she's really sexy.”.

I gave him a small push while rolling my eyes.

“By the way, I can't say I'm okay. It takes time to get used to it!”

"Does that moustache of yours have a name?"

"Robert."

I glanced at him to the side.

“It will suit him, but not. his name is Lucas.”

"No, seriously, does it go with

okay?"

“Ya, okay. Everything went well.”

Despite her habit of joking around, I can tell that she misses working with me so much.

"Do you want to drink after work?"

"Sure, but not tonight, I have to work

with my motor."

Matt and his motorcycle, what a great love story. I feel sorry for the girl who will be among them!

"Well, if your bike lets you out one night, just send me an SMS!"

He looked at me obediently.

"Understand, Angel!"

I smiled before heading to the elevator.

Last night, I was glad to see you working on my blog again!

This morning I woke up from the right side of the bed. So refreshing!

Arriving at the office, I sent my work to Reynolds by email and while waiting for his instructions, I browsed through the latest personal fashion sales.

Since I have my own office, no more Cassidy appears behind me to monitor my screen!

A message from Reynolds!

“Halo, Miss Allen. Can you reschedule a meeting with Paul de Ockman & Associates?”

“You also need to confirm my lunch appointment next week with investor Primabank.”

“And don't forget to tell Simons, that I'm still waiting for the file Mark gave her earlier this week. See you tomorrow. RR.”

The simons? What does he mean is Gabriel?

Of course it's him, I don't know any other Simons. Gotta give Gabriel enough instructions.

Well, it would obviously feel a bit strange at first but, the more I got the responsibility, the more I got used to it

with the idea of reversing roles.

I can easily imagine the day when I gave Cassidy the order... Great?!!

I decided to send Gabriel an email proposing lunch. It would be less formal than suddenly appearing in his office.

Although I can easily see myself as jal*ng who says: "Hey Simons, is this file for today or

tomorrow?"

I laughed to myself when I sent it.

It was already noon and there was still no sign of reply from Gabriel. I think I should go to his office this afternoon.

Suddenly, someone knocked on my door. Talk about the devil and he shows up! My former manager looked at me.

“Hai Sarah. I'm in a meeting. I just got your message. We can leave now if you still want.”

"OK, let's go!"

As we walked through the corridor, the secretary stared at us. To be exact, he had actually devoured Gabriel with his eyes.

I guess his reputation is the same on all floors! Gabriel smiled at him and I think it made him blush.

When we stopped in front of the elevator, Gabriel looked at me.

"I'm glad you're taking me."

"Yes! I thought it would be nice to meet for lunch!”

To be honest…? Why can't I tell her the truth?

Gabriel got into the elevator.

"How about we eat Italian food?"

"Why not!"

As we slowly descended, I fiddled with my bag. How am I going to go about this one ...?

I'll go easy on him. No need to jump down his throat with this file story!

"Matt told me that you've found someone to replace me at my old job...?"

He was staring at something on his phone. He even frowned.

Now is not the time to get into a bad mood!

When the door opened on the ground floor, the crowd of employees made me out of our bubble like a sudden gust of wind.

I saw Lisa, looking really busy with a bunch of guys in tie suits.

Gabriel finally put down his phone and turned his head towards me.

"sorry. What were you talking about?”

"There's nothing! Let's go to the restaurant."
