There is a lie between us

episode 23

Sela followed Rendi into her study. Inside the room, Rendi was sitting on a chair behind the table.

With a stack of documents on that table.

Rendi looks to be opening a map, and is checking sheet by sheet its contents.

''What are you doing?'' Rendi directed her gaze towards Sela when she heard Sela's voice.

''sweetie, you haven't slept? This I'm just checking some paperwork for cooperation with another company.''

''oh...'' Sela is only ''oh'' because she does not understand about such affairs at all, understand that she is only a high school graduate.

Sela approached Rendi, one of her hands embracing Rendi's neck. ''Rendi is actually what happened, why do you look so sad since we got back from Sura Baya, did I mess something up?''

Rendi turned the direction of her sitting facing Sela. both her hands were placed on her waist.

''why do you think like that? This has nothing to do with you. I just have a lot of thoughts.''

''because I followed up to Sura Baya, you came home early, until the job there became neglected. Aye right?''

''hey, who told you such nonsense? That's not all right.''

''this is just my assumption, because I saw you grieving since coming home from Sura Baya.'' Sela said while looking down.

Rendi pulled Sela into her arms. ''sorry'' said Rendi slowly as she gently rubbed Sela's back.

Sela did not answer, she just quietly enjoyed her husband's embrace.

''we should go to the room and rest I think you are very tired today.'' Sela closed the document that was held by Rendi.

when Sela lifted the document to be united with others something fell from Rendi's desk.

''What is like a photo'' said Sela as she bent over wanting to take the photo that fell. Fortunately the photo fell in the face down so that Sela could not see the picture from the photo.

Rendi quickly restrained Sela''s body

Let me be so sleepy, we go to the room now.''

Rendi immediately embraced his wife's body and took her to the room.

Sela was actually curious about the photo that fell. But because Rendi was hugging and taking him to Sela's room could not do anything.

Go into the bathroom to clean up. ''Joint me to the bathroom first huh.'' Sela took her foot to the bathroom.

Rendi used the opportunity to call Alex.''Alex goes to the study now and takes a photo of him falling under the desk''

''well sir'' after hearing the answer from Alex Rendi immediately disconnected the phone.

While before Alex entered the workspace Rendi it turns out there was someone else who entered to take the photo and exchange it for another photo.

Alex walked into the room and looked around for the photo mentioned by Rendi. ''ah, here it is'' Alex leaned over and grabbed the photo.

Alex raised his eyebrows when he saw the photo. ''This photo....., why did you tell me to secure it? Ah, I'm sure.'' Alex put the photo in his pocket and left the room.

a month had already passed since they returned home from Sura Baya. During this one month to forget the problem with Arumi Rendi chose to busy themselves in the office.

While Arumi applied to become a teacher at one of the Kindergartens not too far from his home.

This morning Arumi was having breakfast with her parents before leaving to teach.

''mas Rendi was busy pa.'' that was all that came out of Arumi's mouth.

''Arumi as busy as he is, you are his wife, he should take the time to meet you even for a while'' this time Erina who spoke.

''ma, pa....'' Arumi hesitated to continue her words.What's the matter dear, did something happen between you guys?''erina asked while touching the back of Arumi's hand.

Arumi could not hold back her tears. Erina came over and hugged her daughter.

''what does dear say?'' erina said softly.

Arumi was still crying in Erina's arms. Before he finally expressed his wish.

''ma, pa....., Arumi wants to split up with Rendi?'' Arumi again cried in Erina's arms.

Mr. Yanto sighed at the words of his daughter.''actually from the beginning papa was sure that your marriage will not work.'' said Mr. Yanto while looking at his daughter's face.

Arumi grew sobbing at the words of Mr. Yanto. ''don't cry, don't you agree to get married, so consider this as a trial in your life''

Arumi nodded, agreeing with Mr. Yanto.'but Arumi is Rendi willing to divorce you? Remember your marriage is a serial marriage, as long as Rendi doesn't want to divorce you, you can't sue either.''

Arumi went back to her room to fix her makeup, which was already messy as a result of her crying earlier.

Arumi took a deep breath and exhaled through her mouth to neutralize the tightness that was lodging in her chest.

After feeling better Arumi went downstairs and came out of her house, to go teach.

After Arumi leaves, Mr. Yanto picks up his phone and contacts Rendi. After the phone was connected, Mr. Yanto without a stale base immediately expressed his meaning.

''halo assalammualaikum'' said Rendi from there. ''Waalaikum salam nak Rendi father hope you can come to the father's house this afternoon. There's something you want to talk about.''

Rendi could already be interested if Mr. Yanto would want to talk about the problem with Arumi.by therefore Rendi immediately agreed. ''good pa, I will go there later in the afternoon'' said Rendi memahuti Pak Yanto.

''okay, I wait!'' mr. Yanto immediately disconnected his phone.

''How about pa?'' erina asked her husband. ''Rendi agreed to come this afternoon'' said Mr. Yanto.

''gold does Arumi know, mas invited son Rendi?'' Erina looked at her husband's face, waiting for an answer from her husband.

''no. Arumi doesn't know. But like not like we have to do this, so that their problems do not drag on.''

Rendi continued to guess what was about to be conveyed by Mr. Yanto to him later.

''Alex is in my room now'' Rendi told Alex via a phone call on her desk.

''good sir'' Alex replied from his room.

after the phone connection was cut off Alex rushed to Rendi's room.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

alex knocked on the door as soon as he got in front of Rendi's room.

''in'' came the sound of Rendi from inside the room.

Alex pushed the door of the room and went inside.''the master called me'' Alex said as soon as he got in front of Rendi.
