The Zetta Sonic

The Zetta Sonic
Glass Corridor

Tiger and Jayden have a new line of activities. They've been practicing together lately. Tiger plays the role of teacher while Jayden is his student. Tiger did not hesitate to make Jayden a real injury during training. Presumably, it actually makes Jayden grow faster. How not? That means he has to practice real defense from a former free fighter.

Tiger won several international free fights before being drafted into the ICPA. He had several injuries that showed both his skill and his brutality. When in the arena, he was truly like a beast. Like a big tiger is not human. Jayden proved it a few times. He was always reminded of Tiger's skill every time it slammed into the ground.

Jayden felt his back pain. He saw Tiger coming. Without a chance to curse, Jayden was forced to roll. There is no time for anything but to survive.

“Use your brain!” exclaim Tiger.

Jayden clucked in annoyance. It's easier said than done. His brain works faster when behind the scenes instead of in front of a man as big as Tiger. His brain also got a better solution on the swivel chair instead of above the fighting arena like that. Even if his brain can work, sometimes his body can not react as fast as he wants.

Emil outside the arena just stared at the fight with my eyes. There was not much change in expression on his face. He didn't have to be afraid that Tiger would come out and kill Jayden. He also did not have to wait for the winner to come out because it was clear. Their training was only to develop Jayden's skills.

The question is only one. Wh-wh-what for?

As an operator who helps agents execute missions, Jayden's expertise is more than enough. He could martial arts, shoot, and his hacking abilities were above average. His ability to accompany the Zetta Sonic need not be doubted. The possibility for him to go down in the field to help Zetta Sonic face an enemy is almost zero. Especially considering that the criminals faced are not ordinary criminals.

Emil vaporized.

Jayden just fell again. His body could be sure of a new bruise. Jayden hurriedly woke up. He swung a fist that was caught easily by his opponent. Not stopping there, his legs also kicked toward the back of the knee. With enough strength, the opponent will lose balance. With weak strength, it would only make the opponent smile.

Tiger not only smiled, but snorted amusedly. He must admit there was at least some variation in Jayden's attack. It's much better than the first time they practice. Even so, his attack had not quite brought down Tiger. “You should be better.”

Tiger pushed his opponent away when he heard an alarm roar. Jayden flicked his sick hand. Emil turned his head towards the loudspeaker planted on the ceiling. The alarm is not a fire alarm, but an intruder alarm.

This is the second time Alex has infiltrated his own base. Jayden called it part of the exercise. Tiger called it a game. Emil found it useless. Alex enjoyed it himself. Simple rules. He should be able to infiltrate the command room unnoticed. He can come whenever he wants.

The exercise had two goals. One, increases Alex's ability to infiltrate. Two, make sure that their security system is working properly. The infiltration of the day proved once again their security system won. Alex could have used violence, meaning Dragon Blood. However, of course he did not want to get a long scolding from Nadira. Using the power of the Zetta Sonic to fight the Special Force that overshadowed him was not only excessive, but also treachery.

Emil leaves Jayden and Tiger at the training ground. This arena is made like a free-fighting arena as usual with the addition of high and thick glass walls without floodlights. Some side of the wall conceals a secret panel containing surprises that Alex can use to practice. Basically, the room was indeed a training room for all of them.

Jayden himself who installed some special features so that Alex can use. The kid needs more considering he's the main agent in Special Force. Even Mugnkin could say that he was the only agent there. Other agents, such as Tiger, are only in charge of supporting the Zetta Sonic's primary mission. It was only natural that they needed to provide additional means there.

Tracing the gray aisle that all looked the same did not make Emil difficult. On his first day as a Special Force member, he also had a hard time memorizing his own headquarters plan. A total of six floors with special functions on each floor. The first to third floors of the underground are areas that are freely accessible to anyone. While the deeper floor, the fourth floor to delicious is a more forbidden area.

As a new member, Emil did not bother to ask where the difference lay. Because in reality, all Special Force members are currently free to pass by. If there is only one area that is actually off limits is the area in the middle of the dam.

Emil paused briefly as he passed through a hallway with a large row of glass on the left side. He knew behind the glass, there was the last area he had never been to. The area in the middle of the dam is always in darkness. The area is in the form of a glass dome connected by a glass hallway as well. Without the floodlights, he couldn't see the dome. While the connecting door of the hallway is always locked. Jayden said they just added another layer of doors. The area was none other than the Dragon Blood storage area.

[Hey, until when do you stand there?] Alex's voice was heard through an earpiece attached to Emil's ear. Alex knows where Jayden and Emil are from Zet-Arm. There is a feature to find the location of the operator. This will be very useful in the middle of the mission. Alex agrees. It was already useful when he failed to complete the given task.

“I'm on my way.” Emil answered flatly.

His feet stepped back but his mind could not get out of the room.

Feels awkward. The area is even more secret than the generator room on the fifth floor underground and Alex's room on the lowest floor. Why do they keep the space secret even though Dragon Blood has moved into Alex's body? Why did Nadira even add an extra safety door there? What made professor Otto forbid him to go there, even though he also served as his assistant?
