25. Awards Events.
***the Royal Kingdom of Land***
Everything had gathered within such a grand, luxurious and majestic hall. Several invited guests from the representatives of the 3 kingdoms came. The nobles are quite influential in that kingdom. The high officials of the kingdom, and the three families of the young lady who had successfully performed the ritual.
They all came up with their glamorous looks. Nothing looks simple at all. Several young ladies and masters from noble families came to seek the relations, connections, and attention of the royal family.
Some princes and princesses of the royal family are still many who do not have a life partner. The event was at once used as an event to be a soul mate and relationship for them.
The notice of the emperor's arrival was heard from one of the palace eunuchs.
"The emperor's majesty has arrived." Said loudly.
Everyone stood up straight and immediately sat prostrating with one leg bent. Give their gesture and salute to the emperor Alexander Gavriil.
"Greetings to the royal sun of the Royal Land. May your majesty live long and always bless us with a warm light." In a single glance they gave a respectful greeting to the emperor of the Royal Land.
Alexander immediately sat down on his throne. The man appeared handsome and charismatic with a dress wrapped in royal greatness.
Royal clothes dominated by red, black and gold. Wrap fitting athletic body so high. The oversized crown he had on his head and the scepter he held increasingly complemented Alexander Gavriil's appearance.
"Rise." The emperor's orders to everyone present.
They stood up and stood before the emperor. Alexander's face was so handsome and it looked pure white. Making all the girls look at him.
Who wouldn't want to be on the side of that handsome, powerful man. They all want to even be willing if only to be a one-night bed warmer. Alexander was not that kind of man. He will only be loyal to one woman of his choice and who he loves.
After Luke gets a signal from Alexander. He also started the show.
"Welcome to the guests. On this happy day, let us give thanks for all the good that has happened in our kingdom." Greetings opening Luke.
"Today, the royal family especially the noble emperor Alexander Gavriil, will give an honorary award to three young ladies who have successfully performed the ritual to the emperor." Reveal Luke the purpose of the event.
Anne, Marisa, and Monica smiled happily at it. That's what they've been waiting for these three days. A tribute given directly by their handsome emperor.
"It is permissible for the three young ladies to come forward before the emperor's majesty." Luke's words sounded clear.
Anne, Marisa, and Monica advanced before the emperor and everyone else. The three of them smiled proudly and looked very confident.
But Anne did not like the presence of Marisa who came forward like them. He knew Marisa wasn't part of the ritual. Of course the girl already had plans to humiliate Marisa who was trying to take over someone's position.
Everyone including Alexander looked at the three. He already knew that Marisa was trying to take the position of Angel who was not there yet. Alexander was silent and wanted to know where the crafty girl would play with him.
Before the show began. Alexander and Angel meet in the waiting room of the hall. Angel asked Alexander to do the show as usual. Let everything go as the three young ladies wanted.
Of course Alexander agreed to Angel's idea. In the end, those who cheat and do not want to admit their wrongdoing will be considered to have betrayed the emperor and will be punished.
"Before the award is given to the three of you. You'll do the vow ritual first." Lukas said that the suskes removed the smiles of the three young ladies who came forward.
"Ritual vows." Monica's Plan.
Luke looked towards Monica who let out her voice.
"Yes. Swearing ritual. To know the honesty of the three of you." Reply Lukas with a look of his face that looks serious.
Anne, Marisa and Monica are getting restless. A vow of honesty will expose their lies. They are now trapped by their own lies. The three glanced at Alexander who was staring at them sharply and coldly.
They could only stand in agitation and swallow their saliva out of fear. The lies they do will be exposed.
'Damn..Why should use the ritual oath everything anyway.it will show everything I hide. Everything's getting messed up. Though a little more I can be together with the emperor, after the death of that cute girl.' Anne muttered in her heart.
Anne's been getting word from the hit man she hired. They said they had killed Angel and her body was dumped into the forbidden forest.
Of course, that information is a lie. Anne got the false information from the six surviving hitmen.
'I must act and avoid the ritual of the oath.' Anne wanted to do something.
"Sorry before your honor." Said Anne with confidence looking at Alexander.
"Is this your reply to those of us who have performed rituals for you." Said Anne. Marisa and Monica shut up and looked.
"We sincerely perform the ritual to help the emperor of our kingdom. We do it with risks that are not easy. Moreover, the side effects after performing the ritual were terrible for us. But, here our honesty in question returns with this vow ritual. Please kindly ask not to doubt our honesty." Anne was at length.
He hoped that his words would be able to change Alexander's heart not to perform the vow ritual.
"Her Majesty is a generous and wise emperor. We have so much respect for you. We will do everything for the welfare of the noble. Please, your majesty, give us noble wisdom." Anne said back.
Both of Anne's parents were proud of her daughter's intelligence, who dared to speak before the emperor. They will support Anne with all their might.
"Include your name?" Alexander.
Anne was silent for a moment. The Emperor asked what his name was at this time. It was a good thing for Anne.
"The name of Anne Matheo's servant, your majesty." Said Anne introducing her name with her graceful deference to the emperor.
"Anne Matheo's. Daughter of the noble family of Matheo. One of the honorable families in this kingdom." Alexander said calmly.
The Matheo family, called by the emperor, was proud that the emperor of the kingdom knew their surname. It's an honor for them.
"You're a pretty smart, pretty young lady." Cape Alexander with a faint smile towards Anne.
Alexander purposely did just that to flatter Anne. Making the girl soar will be flattery from him, before he falls will be his own lie.
Anne who received the adulation from the emperor smiled proudly. Not many people were able to earn a flattery from the number one person in the kingdom.
"You deserve my appreciation in particular. I'll make sure you get it straight from me." Reply Alexander with his sweet smile, dissolving everyone who saw that smile.
"Thank you your majesty for your kindness." Reply Anne smiled happily while giving her graceful demeanor.
"Luke, especially for Miss Anne. He doesn't need to perform the vow ritual." Alexander gave the order to Luke.
"Okay, your honor." Reply Luke.
"Excuse me, what about my servant? Why is it that only Miss Anne does not perform the ritual of the oath. She also performed the ritual with Miss Anne. Please, your majesty be fair." It's Monica's turn to speak. He did not like to see Anne get special attention from the emperor.
"Sorry your highness. Servants also want justice from the noble." Marisa said to enter into the discussion.
Alexander looked at the two in turn. He wanted to see, what Angel said would happen?
"Sorry before your majesty. Miss Marisa did not participate in the ritual. The representative young miss of the Hernando family who performed the ritual was Angelica Hernando. Not her…!" Appoint Anne to get a chance to get rid of Marisa, one of her rivals.
Alexander was silent and watched.
'What Angel said. Start happening…!' Alexander said in his heart.
"What do you mean?" Ask Alexander.
"The one who should be standing here with us is Miss Angelica Hernando. Not Miss Marisa Hernando. You can ask the truth to Mr. Luke." Said Anne looking intently at Marisa who looked agitated.
"Luke's Master directed us. Surely Mr. Luke knew and saw firsthand the faces of the three of us who had performed the ritual." Anne looked towards Luke.
"Is it really Luke?" Ask Alexander.
Luke looked at Anne and looked back at Alexander.
"Yes, your highness. The servant knows his third face. Sorry in advance, this lady did not participate in the ritual. But the other lady." Luke explains it.
Marisa's face turned deathly pale as Luke pointed at her.
'Damn...wouldn't I get that award…?' He murmured in the heart.
'I have to do something about this…!' Marisa muttered thinking of finding a way to escape the problem.
"Sorry your highness. The servant was present to represent the servant's cousin who could not be present here, because something had happened." Marisa did not want to be removed by Anne.
"Previously beg for mercy, your majesty. Servant only as a representative of the Hernando family to honor the royal notice of your invitation. If Hernando's invited family doesn't come.
