Chapter 8. The Pirate Leader

Chen Zhu, who was not sleeping at the time, was enjoying the beauty of the night with Sung Yunzi.

While conversing, Chen Zhu, who was staring at the surface of the river, could faintly see that there was movement on the water and seemed to be moving closer towards their ship.

"Yun! Let's see that.it looks like something's moving in our direction." Whisper Chen Zhu while pointing in the direction he was referring to.

"Yes! Right you said.We should immediately tell this to elder Chen Song." Sung Yunzi replied after seeing what Chen Zhu meant.

"You go, tell this to my foster father, let me keep an eye on them." Chen Zhu's orders while whispering.

Sung Yunzi nodded his head in response to Chen Zhu's orders and immediately left the young man.

"Leader, it looks like there are two people on the deck of the ship...do they know where we are!?" Asked the vice leader while pointing towards where Chen Zhu and Sung Yunzi were.

"Quickly prepare to attack.it seems to be true that you say, for one of the two has gone." Said the leader.

They immediately prepared to attack the ship they were targeting.

"But what if swordsman Chen Song has learned of our movements? Is it not dangerous for us? Especially with numbers like this." Ask the deputy leader again.

The leader thought a little before answering his deputy's question.

On board, Sung Yunzi had now arrived at the cabin where Chen Song was and immediately knocked on the door.

"Chairman Chen! Elder Chen!" Call Sung Yunzi.

"Yun'er, what's wrong? Why wake me?" Reply Chen Song asked the young lady.

"There's something important I want to say." Sung Yunzi replied.

Chen Song immediately opened the cabin door and asked.

"What do you want to say?"

"Chairman Chen, there seems to be a movement over the river and it is moving towards our ship." Sung Yunzi replied.

"Damn! Looks like they're going to attack secretly!" Chen Song grumbled.

"You go first to see the progress.I'll go to tell this to the ship's owner and also to the bodyguard." Chen Song's orders and soon passed left Sung Yunzi.

The young lady immediately rushed over to return to the place where Chen Zhu was.

"Hows it? Is there any progress?" Sung Yunzi asked after returning to his original place.

"Yes, it looks like they were pirates before.now their movements are accelerating.see that, they will soon be able to catch up with our ship." Chen Zhu replied.

"If so, let's get ready to welcome their arrival while boarding this ship." Take Sung Yunzi.

"Hold on.Perhaps our existence has been they know.so that they are not too vigilant, we will move when they are really close to this ship." Chen Zhu suggested.

They are now preparing to welcome the uninvited guest.

After the boat boarded by the pirates approached, Chen Zhu and Sung Yunzi immediately jumped up and gave a surprise attack.

"Create a protective formation...!!!" Shouted the leader to stem the incoming attack.

The other three people immediately followed what the leader had done to create a rainbow shield from the water.

On top of that boat, there were only four expert warriors who could control the water element.

The ice blades created from qi energy using the water element, were now darting towards Chen Fang and Sung Yunzi.

The three of them now began to fight on the surface of the river using body lightening techniques.

"If they can't beat that guy in such a short time, it could backfire on both of them..." Thought Chen Song.

"The energy of their qi would both be quickly depleted if it simultaneously used three techniques at once." Chen Song continued to pay attention to the fight of the two disciples from his sect.

"Yun! Let's combine our powers!" Shouted Chen Zhu in order to quickly defeat their opponents.

The two began to collaborate and attack the pirate leader while dodging the attacks of dozens of ice knives belonging to the man.

The fireball attack that looked like a small meteor kept darting towards the pirate leader but could still be dodged.

"Damn! If it's like this, our qi energy will quickly drain away..." Thought Chen Zhu.

"Yun! Stop using your air element technique, because our qi energy will be quickly drained!" Chen Zhu reminded.

"Let's attack him by using qi energy alone!" Chen Zhu gave a suggestion.

"It seems like he can think like that.Alright, I won't use my water element technique either." Murmured the pirate leader.

"Stop! Don't chase!" Shouted Chen Song stopping his adopted son's actions.

Sung Yunzi who also intended to follow Chen Zhu immediately stopped his actions, as well as Chen Zhu.

"Why did the teacher stop us!?" Sung Yunzi asked in confusion.

"Do you two want to take your lives?" Reply Chen Song.

"But if they are allowed to live, they will definitely come back again." Chen Zhu responded.

"With this incident, they will definitely not return again." Said Chen Song feeling confident.

"Dad lift! We must immediately exterminate their group, for they will certainly do the same to the other ships." Reply Chen Zhu.

"It's none of our business." Chen Song said briefly.

"Let's get back here.we'll continue our journey." Said Chen Song and immediately walked away from the stern of the ship.
