The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate
The Part 38

Sigit sat beside Papi Winata by holding back his tears so as not to drip, he was so hit with the condition of Winda.

"What really happened to Linda mi?" Sigit asked Mami Lia who was already sitting next to him, her eyeballs looking for honesty from the black bead of her mama when she asked the state of Vinda.

Mami Lia returned the sad look of her son who was waiting for an answer from her.

"Winda.. earlier this morning her heartbeat was detected on the monitor suddenly weak, her body condition dropped, so the doctor had to take action immediately." replied Mami Lia.

Papi Winata and his two in-laws walked up to him, then sat down beside him.

"But already talked to Mr. Idris about the condition of Winda if it is still like this, we will take him to Singapore as soon as possible to get more handling, what do you think Git?" papi Winata said the results of his conversation with his iron to Sigit.

Sigit looked at the two men in front of him who were looking at his face, he was really grateful to have a papi and father-in-law who were so concerned about the state of his household now.

"Sigit followed the advice of papi and gaffer, if it is best for Vinda." replied Sigit.

ICU Room

Doctor Tama shouted to give command to the nurses around him who took care of Winda in this green room when both hands put a defibrillator on the front of Winda.

Already several times the heart shock device was placed in the chest of Winda because the heart rate is still very weak, a little anxiety reached his heart, until the doctor decided for the last time to put the defibrillator.

"Try it once again with normal pressure." doctor Tama's orders firmly dispel his doubts.

"Ready!" the nurse in front of the monitor did not lose.

Only a sense of confidence and trying as hard as his strength that makes the doctor Tama again excited, until the sound of the nurse's screams that look at the monitor, heard, there is a detection of heart rate begins to move normally again with a marked rhythm of normal heart rate.

"OK, normal!" shouted a nun who was looking at the monitor in front of her.

"Hhhhhhhhhhh.. thank goodness.he is back to normal." there were sighs of relief and gratitude of the sisters and doctors who were in the room after seeing the monitor, doctor Tama's hand put the heart shock device in place again.

"Please sort out all this equipment huh sus." Tama doctor opened both gloves and gave an edict to her nurse.

"Okay doc." answered the nurse.

Doctor Tama smilingly watched the monitor and checked the condition of Winda who had returned to normal heartbeat.

"You really are a strong patient" said Tama doctor looking at the face of Winda who began to look better.

After finishing checking the condition of Winda, Tama's doctor walked to the door and opened the glass door and stepped out of the room.

Sigit walked up to the ICU door followed by his four parents behind him as soon as he saw that Tama's doctor had come out of the ICU room.

"With the patient's guardian?" ask doctor Tama to Sigit as soon as he saw Sigit while running to approach him.

"Yes doc. How's she doing now Doc?" sigit replied very worriedly by asking his wife's latest condition.

Sigit's question invited the small smile of Tama's doctor on his cheek.

"Thankful that the patient has improved again, and the patient can be waited alternately after the nurse finishes cleaning the equipment later" replied Tama doctor.

"Alhamdulillah, thank you doc." said Sigit relieved and followed by the four people who were behind him.

"Tama-sama sir, I stay first" said doctor Tama passed after bowing his head.

Not long after Tama's doctor passed, several sisters came out of the room.

Sigit looked back at Arini's mother as she was about to open the door.

Sigit gave his mother-in-law a chance first, but Arini refused, because she knew that her current daughter-in-law was more devastated by her daughter's condition even though she wanted her hand to caress, decapitating Winda.

Sigit opened the door to enter the room which only the sound of the heart beat of Winda sounding in his ears, slowly he walked closer to the bed and then sat on a chair that was on the side of the bed, both his eyes were glued to see the face that fell asleep on the bed with the hose in his mouth and breathing apparatus stuck in his nose, slowly Sigit's right hand gently swept his wife's forehead down every curve of his soft skin.

"Winda...this brother has come to pick you up dear.." said Sigit lirih in front of his wife's face.

"Wake up Win. Open your eyes...

you miss your smile so much..." The voice of raucous sigits held tightness in his chest, his tears had already dripped down his cheeks.

''It's enough Win you sleep here, let's wake up Win. here is not your house, let's go home.. let's wake up Win..." sigit's hand turned to hold the hand of the Winda and kissed the back of the hand of the Winda.

"Let's go home Win, mother, father, mother and papi are waiting for you, don't stay alone brother..." Sigit whispered his sentence near Winda's ear, then kissed her forehead.

"I love you Winda Zilfana Idris. Is that the phrase you want to hear? I said it Win..."

(Mrs Pov)

Under his consciousness....

I saw in front of me a long, dark incline full of mist, as I walked up to it I heard someone call me, my steps stopped, I looked for the sound from where it came, it turned out that the voice appeared from behind me which was clearly full of bright light, there was a man who I knew very well, no stranger to it he was Sigit, my friend. He held my hand.

"Sir.this brother has come, dear..."

"Air here waiting for you to come home."

"I want to go home through the road

that long one's Git."

"This isn't your house, Win, let's go home together."

"But I've been waiting there for Git?"

"Let's go home Win, mother, father, mother and papi are waiting for you, don't stay alone brother."

Slowly my body felt the warmth, my forehead felt the gentle kiss of the mother I had so longed for, the warmth now spread throughout my body.

"Mother I miss..."

❄❄❄

It had been thirty minutes Sigit waited for Winda inside by whispering his feelings in the ear of Winda with a raucous voice, kissing the forehead of Vinda, grasping the weak hands of his wife.

Sigit was surprised by the water that came out of his wife's eyes that were still closed, then he noticed the grip of his hand that felt a small movement of his wife's hand.

Sigit was wide-eyed as if not believing what he saw just now, he called for Winda who tried to open his eyes.

"Siris? Win??" sigit's voice mentions the name of his wife who can already respond to him.

Winda opened his eyelids slowly and looked at the person in front of him.

"Sigit.." Vinda's voice weakly mentioned Sigit's name, she closed her eyes again and opened them slowly.

"I-iya Win, thank God, you've realized dear."

Not describing the joy Sigit saw his wife who had realized from his coma, he kissed his wife's forehead with his left hand holding the hand of Winda and the right hand holding the head of the Winda.

Winda furrowed both his eyebrows looking at Sigit's behavior, confused and astonished. That's how he feels.

"So soon, I'll call the doctor first and let you know the mother's outside."

Winda was glued, silent to see Sigit who released his grip and then pressed a button on his bed, as a symbol of the call.

Sigit got up from his seat and passed out by opening the ICU room door.

Not long after Sigit came out, several nurses and doctors were already in check on his condition.

The nurse opened her breathing tube and gave Tama a small flashlight.

"This alhamdulillah is a gift from God, you have come to your senses" Tama told Vinda.

"But you still have to rest first because the condition is still weak." continued doctor Tama, then saw the nurse who removed the monitor liaison from the body of Winda.

❄❄❄

Diruang wait.

"What's the bang?"

"What's up, son?"

Tanya mami and Arini's mother together as soon as they saw Sigit coming out the door.

"She's already aware, ma'am."

"Alhamdulillah..."

His four parents answered, hearing the news he had just brought.
