3. Applying for a Job

"You better go back, you don't have to pay the debt or anything, because I don't have to!"

When morning arrived, Gallen who finally could sleep soundly woke up from his sleep with a good feeling. The man then took a shower, refreshing himself to welcome his pleasant morning on the weekend. He's been working hard for a whole week, so now he can relax a bit without having to think about work.

After all the preparations were done, the man stared out the window for a while. The sunlight looks quite bright, even though the new morning shows at half seven o'clock.

Gallen called his assistant last night. Because it was difficult to find a workshop at night, Alby-her assistant promised to find him this morning. And Gallen doesn't have to worry about the invitation later. Because even though it's a holiday, it's Alby who'll pick her up later to bring her back home.

So, now Gallen just needs to relax and have a quiet breakfast. The breakfast prepared by the hotel looks tempting, enough to fill his stomach. And since there was no one here who would bother him, Gallen was able to enjoy the food quietly until it ran out.

After finishing breakfast, he planned to get out of the room and look around. Gallen had finished getting ready and now he was going to open the door of his room to come out.

"Good morning!"

Gallen's countenance changed in an instant. Ah, right too. He forgot that last night the girl came along with him. What's that girl doing? Waiting for him to say good morning?

"Stupid, how long have you been waiting here?" Although it sounds rude, but Gallen is actually worried. Was the girl waiting for him earlier? It must have been exhausting, but why would that stupid girl want to do it?

Zoya who never took a headache with every word of the man just smiled sweetly, "Not long, really. Just about an hour."

Gallen looks at Zoya from top to bottom. The girl looks good. It seemed like she had prepared early in the morning for wanting to welcome the man before her like this. Gallen only sighed, then looked at the girl seriously, "You shouldn't have to be like that. You have no obligation to do so." Gallen doesn't want Zoya to take any futile action. They'll be separated soon anyway. So, they don't have to get too close, do they?

"Ah, about this. I thought long last night. I think I have a lot of debt to you." Evidently.

Gallen looked at him cautiously. His feeling is not very good. What does the girl want? Gallen didn't ask him to pay all those debts!

"What if I become your ART?" His eyes looked hopeful.

Again, Gallen looked at him blankly. Wh why? Why is the girl trying so hard to pay the debt? Gallen just wants the girl to leave. He doesn't need any of that!

"no need. You better just go." Gallen felt desperate to drive the girl away. Besides being stupid and innocent, it turns out that he is also very stubborn.

"But debt is debt. My father and mother said the debt must be paid or I will not settle down even when I die!" Clearly in seriousness.

Gallen was silent, just listening to the girl speak alone.

Now he's bringing death?

Zoya doesn't seem to be joking. It may be true that the girl held the principle that debt should be paid, but didn't Gallen say that he didn't have to think about it? Gallen did not consider the existence of the debt, Zoya did not owe Gallen one bit. Shouldn't the problem be solved? Then why would the girl still want to work with him?

I didn't even hire ART on a regular basis because I wasn't comfortable with other people, but she wanted to work with me instead? Just be right!

"Stupid. I don't need ART, why do you still want to work too? You better find another job!" Gallen wants to go. However, just as it happened last night, Zoya directly held one of the man's hands.

"Are you deaf? If I say no, it means no! Why do you keep pushing, huh?!"

Gallen put away the girl's hand, making Zoya stagger slightly back. Without looking again, Gallen just left him alone.

"It looks like I hurt someone." His word. Gallen had been waiting for the man for a long time without daring to step away from his current place. He felt guilty, but it was also difficult to apologize. The only hope he has is to wait for Alby to come and ask him for advice.

Alby was a little surprised. He knew that his boss was indeed a rogue face, but never once did he see Gallen commit an act of violence against someone. Who did he really hurt?

"Boss, calm down. We can talk about this very well. Who do you hurt? We can provide treatment as well as compensation if he wants to." Alby tried to calm down his boss. But beyond the man's expectations, Gallen actually shook his head and denied.

Gallen began to tell everything one by one, from when he met the girl, to when he brushed aside the hand of Zoya who was holding her arm. Alby listens to Gallen's every story without interrupting. "Hm" Alby seemed to think. Actually, they're both the same. Equally inexperienced in terms of taking care of women and knowing their feelings and desires. But as Gallen's assistant, it's only natural that he helped the man to think about solving the problems he is currently facing. What answer should he give? An answer that could please the girl, but was also acceptable to her boss, "Women are creatures that are difficult to understand. They're quite emotional, so it would be hard to restore their happiness if we hurt them." The words made Gallen feel guilty.

Alby smiled slightly and tried to calm his boss back, "Boss, I have absolutely no idea how to cope with women. What if the boss does what he wants? He just wants to pay the debt anyway, right? So the boss only needs to hire him until all his debts are paid off. One month, maybe? That way you can both let go." His advice.

Gallen thought about the suggestion carefully. Actually he was still a bit difficult to accept others in his house, but there seemed to be no other way he could apologize for his words and harsh treatment just now. Zoya may indeed look cheerful, but what if her cheerfulness was lost due to her actions just now? Gallen certainly has to take responsibility for that.

Finally after a long discussion, Gallen agreed to take advice from his assistant. He and Alby then immediately went to the elevator, pressed the destination button and went upstairs.

The first thing they can see when the elevator door opens is the presence of Zoya sitting in front of the door of her room with her body hugging herself. Poor, that's what both of them thought. Maybe Zoya was too shocked by Gallen's actions just now that she could no longer move on. Alby lightly patted his boss's shoulder, giving him some encouragement. The right decision for them to choose to return to this place and apologize. Gallen gave a small nod, preparing for the choice he had made.

"I'll let you work with me!" Again Gallen spoke with half a shout. Zoya was initially a little surprised. He did not expect the man in front of him would immediately scream like that. "really? You really accept me?" Gallen clucked at the girl's question. Of course, there was no way he would change his mind and retract his words. It was a abstinence that the man could not possibly have done.

"Thank you, I'll definitely work fine!" Zoya really looks happy.

Gallen looked back, finding Alby giving his two thumbs to the boss. Well, nevermind. It's true that she doesn't like it when there's someone else in her house. But if it was done to please others, Gallen had no other choice.

"You shouldn't have to get desperate like this just because I brushed your hand away. You stupid fool." Gallen shifted his gaze. I don't know why I feel ashamed of myself. Isn't this girl doing it for her? Is it possible ...

She like me?

"Huh?"

Gallen looked at Zoya's confused face. What did he say just now? Huh huh? Was he surprised that Gallen knew his despair or not ...

"I didn't do that out of desperation for your actions. I forgot how to get into the room, I also forgot how to get into the elevator, but you left me and went down alone. That's why I'm staying here waiting for you to come home." Said.

Gallen did not reply, only looking at the girl with a look as if saying 'you better not talk anymore'.
