Chapter 31

It's already night time. With a trip that spent 8 times rest, they finally have been in a forest that is different from the others. It was high and big. The tree was huge black eerie. A fairly thick fog added to his evening that night. Moreover, in the sky there is only a crescent moon and a few stars.

“Are we there?” whispered Jondan to the two demons. He did not want when his loud voice could invite the inhabitants of the forest.

Sofia did not answer. He just looked here and there while his nose was flat. Both of his eyes were poking like a fox. So did Zhu. The witty young man sniffed the ground like a dog.

Riko was astonished to see the behavior of the two people. He scratched his hair a little. But for Jondan another. He already knew that the two people were demons. The fox demon woman and the dog stealth joke man. He knows when the two men are looking for something or find something. He kept quiet while watching the two of them.

“Sniff,” after Sofia sniffed it then said. “There are no monsters around here. At least safe if we step a few more meters.” He said, looking in all directions.

“Sniff-sniff.” Zhu then stood up. “The owner of that ugly shoe also once passed this land.” He said while holding his chin.

 

“Good!” exciting Jondan. “It's not wrong for sure Doni is at their camp that's!”

Riko did not want to hold back her curiosity anymore. From then on he wondered who the two people were so as if he could feel something like an animal. Then he asked. “You guys, who exactly?”

Zhu and Sofia then watched the young man's face.

“Why, you guys seem to be tracking something. And that's really weird.”

“Khaaahh..” Zhu then sighed. “It turns out you don't know yet, buddy?” he said that at once his body was enveloped by black smoke. “Look!”

Riko widened both eyes. What did he see? After the smoke was gone, he saw how a black dog twice the size of an ordinary dog had fangs. Both of his eyes were pushed red.His forehead was wrinkled and sharp.

“S-stealth?” Riko looked at him with both eyes wide open. He did not suspect at all that the witty young man was a sinister demon in his form.

“Ha-ha-ha!” Jondan laughs. “Your change really doesn't fit you, buddy!”

The dog then turned towards the burly while purring. He snarled in his mouth.

“Who would have thought that a silly young man like you could become such a fierce creature. I myself will not believe when I do not see it directly,” said Jondan and laughed.

“Wusshh...” black smoke suddenly enveloped the body of the dog. And after subsiding, the face of the witty young man was on his waist while smiling proudly.

Riko stood up quickly. He then ran towards Zhu and Sofia. He then pointed with his index finger. “K-you guys, stealth all?”

“Sure!” sahut Zhu spirit.

Sofia looked at the young man. He then turned to look at Riko's legs.

Riko then blinked her eyes. Why is the girl looking at her feet? Then he saw his own two feet. He tried movement. Lifting and circling. “I... feel right again?” said slowly. He turned back, ran back, and faced the girl again. “I'm healed! I'm cured!” girang. Grimacing, he held Sofia's hands together. “Thank you, Miss!”

Sofia slightly opened her lips. His white face became reddish from being looked at by the young man. His arm was also held by him. So to hide the shame, he then took off from Riko's hand grip and then turned his body.

“Eh? Sorry, sorry,” said Riko who now realized that she had accidentally held Sofia's hands because she was happy.

Sofia looks a little misbehaved. He then headed towards Zhu. “We rest here. Besides being safe, it is also dangerous if we go to the camp in the dark. We wait until tomorrow morning.” He said he turned to Jondan.

“The bill you said, Miss!” Jondan. “Tonight the sky is not too bright, also this forest is very dark. If we proceed to their nest, then it will be very difficult once.” He said then headed towards Riko. “We wait until morning. After all, of course we feel tired because we have traveled many miles. We'd better spend the night at this place.”
