EPISODE 27 - -> Painful Kiss

"Eisuke, I want to talk to you!" Megumi looks serious.

"I'm not interested," replied Eisuke coldly.

"Our parents are arranging our engagement. Are you going to accept this engagement?" ask Megumi with hope.

Eisuke closed his book violently and put it on the shelf. The handsome guy looked at Megumi with a sharp look. But suddenly the door creaked open, Mirai and Hiro emerged from behind the door. Realizing Mirai's presence, Eisuke suddenly pulls Megumi's head and kisses the girl. And at that very instant, Mirai was instantly frozen. He was very surprised by what he saw.

Mirai shook her head and stepped back. Tears started coming out of the end of his eyes. He turned and ran out of the library.

"Mirai!" Sontak Hiro immediately chased after him.

After Hiro and Mirai come out, Eisuke pushes Megumi roughly.

"Why did you suddenly kiss me? This means... Do you agree with our engagement?" ask Megumi with a flowery heart.

"This engagement will never happen!" with those words, Eisuke went out of the library and left Megumi.

"What do you mean, Eisuke!!!" shouts Megumi annoyed.

Eisuke ignores Megumi, then he exits the library. He walked through the hallway and suddenly stopped. Eisuke thought of Mirai who was sad to see her kissing Megumi. After all, he did it deliberately in front of Mirai.

"This way Mirai will forget me faster" said Eisuke in a sad tone.

On the other hand, the running Mirai finally managed to be chased by Hiro. The red-haired man grabbed his hand and pulled it firmly. Hiro hugged Mirai tightly.

"Don't cry, I'm here. I will never leave you," Hiro said warmly.

"My heart really hurts. I can't stand all this!" Mirai sobbed in Hiro's arms.

Hiro stroked Mirai's hair gently. "I knew. I promise I'll always be with you."

Mirai's cry grew even more so and she hugged Hiro tightly.

At night, Mirai wrapped her body in a thick blanket on the mattress. He cried as if his sadness had reached its maximum peak. He does not want to eat or drink. He thought everything he saw was true. He thinks Eisuke likes Megumi and will get engaged to her.

"I thought you liked me for a long time, I was wrong. Eisuke, you really hurt me" said Mirai amid her grief.

Uncle and Yoshi looked at this state of affairs anxiously.

"Mirai's brother all day locked himself in his room." Yoshi started to worry.

"I didn't expect the problem of love could end like this" said Uncle sadly.

"Is it true that Brother Eisuke will be engaged to another woman?" ask Yoshi to know.

Uncle nodded. "Yes. Mirai said so. Eisuke has rejected her and says she will be engaged to someone else."

The next day, Mirai does not go to college. Hiro and Aiko are worried about Mirai's uncharacteristic state.

"Hiro, do you know why Mirai didn't come in today?" ask Aiko.

"It's because of that jerk. He's the cause!" hiro replied a little annoyed.

Aiko furrowed her brows. "Whatchu mean? say it clearly!"

"OK, we will go to his house later" said Aiko.

In the afternoon, Aiko and Hiro arrive at Mirai's house. Uncle told them everything. Even until now Mirai still did not want to eat and still locked herself in the room.

Feeling like a close friend, Aiko tries to get into Mirai's room and persuades her.

"Mirai."

"Ai-ko." replied Mirai limp.

"Why did you become like this? Your uncle said you didn't eat anything from yesterday. Tell me everything, don't keep the problem alone," said Aiko worried.

"I saw Eisuke kissing Megumi in front of my eyes. My heart really hurts" Mirai said softly and sounded sad.

"God.. Eisuke is so insolent. He has rejected you, but he still does what hurts you. Looks like Eisuke doesn't care about your feelings. You better forget him." Aiko was angry.

Mirai was silent and did not answer. He doesn't know what to say. From the direction of the door, Hiro entered with a bowl of food.

"I'll make you forget that jerk. Eat now!" Hiro sat on the side of the bed. "I'll feed you. Comeup! If you don't wake up, I'll punish you."

Mirai smiled hearing Hiro's words. With the presence of friends around him, little by little his sadness began to disappear.

Today is Mirai's last day on campus. The scholarship he received was over, and he planned to say goodbye to his friends without telling the truth.

This afternoon, Mirai invites Aiko and Hiro to eat together in the Cafeteria.

"My uncle and I are going to the brother's house in the village. So, I'm not going to go to college for a long time" Mirai said slowly.

Aiko looked at Mirai confusedly. "Don't you ever say your uncle is your only family. I didn't know you had another family in the village."

"Yes, but my uncle says there is one more brother in the village and it's quite far from here" Mirai replied nervously in a lie.

"How long are you gonna be there?" ask Hiro.

Mirai was silent for a moment. "Umm, I don't know. I'll tell you later."

Mirai chooses to lie to her friends and hide the truth. He had no fees to continue his studies and was forced to quit college. In addition, he also thought of not wanting to trouble Hiro anymore.

"Okay, if you have come home from the village do not forget to tell me yes," said Aiko with a sweet smile.

Mirai smiles. "Yes." Yeah."

After she finished eating, Mirai went to the library to return all the items she had borrowed. He put the books on the shelf.

Unbeknownst to him, Eisuke secretly observed Mirai for quite a while. Suddenly, the wind howled loudly at the window and unified their gaze. Mirai and Eisuke looked at each other. The girl held back her grief and did not avoid Eisuke.

Mirai looked at Eisuke and tried to speak calmly. "Hi, I'm sorry for what I said back then. I thought I said something I didn't deserve."

Eisuke shifted his eyes. He doesn't know what to answer. Eisuke hides his feelings of love and chooses to let go of Mirai.

"Umm, we were friends from the beginning. And we'll always be friends, right? I wish you and Megumi were happy. If there's a chance, we'll meet again sometime. Bye bye!" Mirai ended her words, then left.

"Why are you talking as if we won't meet again, when I still want to see you even from afar" Eisuke said in his heart.
