The Tongue of In-Law

The Tongue of In-Law
I put my pride at the feet of my mother-in-law.

Marriage is the happiest moment for everyone. The same goes for the newly married Shireen and Afghan couple. The two met for a month and got married. Afgan who fell in love at first sight immediately invited Shireen to get married.

Initially, Shireen had doubts about the sincerity of Afgan heart, but after listening to the story of aunt Noni who said that Afgan really wanted to marry Shireen, Shireen finally agreed. An introduction that lasted only one month was immediately continued with the wedding.

Shireen appearance is very beautiful with ivory white kebaya wrap and batik cloth subordinates. The hair is rolled with a jasmine flower decoration while the head is given a crown that glitters by the gemstones studded around it.

Likewise with Afgan who look charming by wearing a black suit and ivory white shirt interior in line with Shireen kebaya shirt.

Afgan was aghast when he saw the appearance of Shireen is so beautiful. Shireen with her father entered the room for the wedding procession. The room was as beautiful as possible. The walls are decorated with ivory-white fabrics and there are also flowers everywhere adding to the beauty of the atmosphere.

As soon as Shireen and Mr. Baskoro entered the room, the kabul ijab process was immediately held. Shireen took a sitting position next to Afgan. Afgan who could not bear to see the beauty of Shireen intermittently glanced towards Shireen making Shireen feel ashamed of himself.

After the kabul hijab was completed, Shireen immediately kissed her husband's hand. Shireen, who has only known Afgan for a month, still looks awkward when holding Afghan hands. So that his palms are immediately wet with sweat when they come into contact with Afghan hands. Afgan who know that Shireen is groggy can only smile.

After Shireen finished diving Afgan, Afgan immediately kissed his wife's forehead making Shireen more groggy.

All those present at the kabul show looked happy and happy as felt by the two brides. Everyone smiled as Afgan kissed his wife's forehead. Only Ms. Nana who looked sullen to see the moment when Afgan kissed his wife.

Ms. Nana seemed unhappy with her son's marriage. From the beginning, Ms. Nana did not approve of Afghan marriage to the new Shireen. Actually, Nana wanted to match Afgan with her friend's child, but Afgan refused on the grounds of not loving her. But once you get to know Shireen, Afgan immediately want to get married. Bu Nana had refused and did not agree to it but because the Afgan insisted on wanting to get married, eventually Nana ma agreed

Exactly at ten in the morning the kabul ijab process was completed and continued with a wedding reception that was quite luxurious. Because Shireen is the only child of Mr. Baskoro, so the wedding reception is made as cheerful as possible by both Shireen parents.

Many guests who came to the event both from the Shireen family and from the Afghan family. The newly married couple seemed very happy, as did both of Shireen's parents. While Afgan's parents only live his own mother because his father has died since he was still in the second grade of Junior High.

The two brides sat together at the ceremony accompanied by parents from both sides. Next to Shireen sat his parents, while beside Afgan sat his mother and uncle named Adiwinata.

Seeing the two brides smile a lot because they are happy makes both parents Shireen happy. It was different from his Afghan mother. At least Tuti did not show his pleasure. His uncle, his mother's sister, looks happy.

Since his father died, his uncle Adiwinata is the one who financed the life of the Afghan family. While his mother only traded wet cakes whose income was not too large so as to finance the education of Afgan and his brother named Afika is not enough.

After Afika graduated from college, she immediately married her lover who is a Malaysian national but lives in Indonesia. But unfortunately his marriage with a young Malaysian named Sidik did not last long. Only a year old their marriage was divorced.

While Afgan so finished college directly working in the company of his uncle Adiwinata. Adiwinata who is the sister of his mother Afgan do not have children so he is very dear to his two nephews.

Since Afgan worked in his uncle's company, his mother has been banned from selling wet cakes so that his mother's activities are now at home. Afgan very dear to his mother and brother because since his father died his affection is only obtained from his mother one makes Afgan so fond of his mother and his only sister named Afika.

“Congratulations Afgan, may be a family that is sadinah mawaddah warohmah,” said pak Dian who is a close friend.

“Thank you sir..” replied Afgan.

“Congratulations mas Afgan, hopefully quickly given momongan.” His wife, Mr. Dian, congratulated the bride and groom.

Many invited guests were present both from the Shireen family and from Afghan families, especially from Afghan colleagues.

After the wedding reception was completed, that night Shireen was immediately taken to the Afghan house. The two brides immediately packed to go to the Afghan house.

It looks like his mother Shireen looks sad to let go of his only daughter.

“Mother, Shireen says yes. May you and Dad always be healthy. Pray for Shireen and Bu.” Shireen hugged her mother.

“True Shireen. You must obey your husband. His name is living in a household will definitely experience trials and I hope all the trials that you will face must be able to finish without any commotion. The name of the dispute in the household must exist, but be smart in responding to it. And for you Afgan, take care of Shireen and guide him. If he makes a mistake, you must rebuke him with words and never commit violence. You proposed to Shireen and married her in a nice way and I hope you will also treat Shireen well as we treat Shireen in this house. Every problem that occurs in your household, let you solve it without any commotion.” Mr. Baskoro advised Shireen and Afgan.

Ms. Umi could only cry when she let go of her daughter. Likewise with Mr. Baskoro who looked sad to let go of his daughter.

Shireen suitcase was put first in the car and now lives Shireen and Afgan who will enter the car.

After making sure everything has been put in the trunk of the car, Shireen and Afgan also say goodbye to Umi and Baskori sir. Stay Umi and Baskoro sir who is still saddened by the departure of his daughter to live with her husband.
