The Temptation of the Former

One Tragedy

By late afternoon, Malik was ready to return to Jakarta, because tomorrow morning he had to work. Jihan, Bi Siti, Mela and Nino deliver Malik to the front of the terrace.

"I want to go home first" said Malik.

"You're careful on the road" Mela said.

"Yes aunty" said Malik.

Jihan delivers Malik to the front of the car, there is something Jihan wants to convey to Malik but not in front of his family.

"Please keep my whereabouts secret from anyone" said Jihan who is currently beside Malik's car.

"You take it easy, you calm yourself down until you're ready to go back .. If you want to stop working in a king group, my papa company is ready to accommodate smart women like you," malik.

"Thank you, for all your kindness during this time" Jihan said.

"No need to thank you, you know that whenever you come to me, I will stretch out my hands to greet you" Malik said, smiling broadly at Jihan.

"You're there, you go home" said Jihan, who began to smile.

Malik got into his car, he started the engine and left Jihan's yard. Jihan looked at Malik until the car disappeared from her sight.

Raksa and Kinan were at a restaurant to enjoy dinner together, but neither Kinan nor Raksa seemed excited, either, though they can only meet once in a week because of their respective busyness.

Kinan looked at the Raksa who had only been stirring his food, "Why not eat?" ask Raksa.

"Why don't you eat, too" asked Kinan back.

"Huh ... Jihan disappeared suddenly and Mr. Johan's soon-to-be-branded marriage, Mr. Johan seems very depressed" Raksa said.

"I do too, I think about Jihan, if she's okay now, I can't imagine if Jihan knew that Brother Johan would get married soon" Kinan said with a look on his shoulder.

"Do you really not know where Jihan is at this time?" ask Raksa.

Kinan looked shocked at Raksa's sudden statement. Honestly, keeping secrets like this was very difficult for Kinan, but nevertheless, he had to keep his mouth shut.

"I-I really don't know, how many times I have to say it, what now you're suspecting me" Kinan said resentfully.

"No, it's not that I'm sorry, I really can't think clearly at this time, don't get angry baby," Raksa said while holding onto Kinan's second.

Kinan again smiled at Raksa even though in his heart he felt so guilty for lying to his lover. I don't know when he should keep this secret, if it's too long he might not be able to.

Johan all day just settles in his library which at once became his personal workspace, he stared blankly at the clockwise that is not stopping moving. He thought, if time could be turned back, at least he wanted to see Jihan again.

Johan turned to the door when he heard the door open. Maria came in with a tray of food, because since morning, Johan had never eaten anything.

Put the tray on the table, then Mary sat beside her son who was silent without responding to his whereabouts. Maria looked at Johan worriedly, she actually could not bear to see Johan like this, but on the other hand she could not oppose her husband Toni's decision either.

"Jo, eat even a little, you can get sick if you continue like this" said Maria.

"Maybe the mother does not care about the mother's child," said Maria while holding her son's arm.

"Keep why! Why do you believe Vita's lies, I never impregnated Vita Bu" Johan said with reddened eyes and a raised tone of voice.

Maria was shocked by Johan's words. Throughout Mary's upbringing Johan she had never seen and heard Johan speak to her like this. He was disappointed but he was also concerned for Johan.

"Johan! Have you ever seen or heard your mother, against your father's decision .. ever since you were your father's wife, even though you never opposed your father and neither have you," mary looked angry.

Maria moved from her sitting position, then once again saw Johan who was just silent without chiming in again.

"You will still marry Vita even if you don't want to, if the child is not your child, we will know after the child is born" said Maria then left.

Johan resuscitated his body on the back of the sofa, Johan groaned annoyed and kicked the tray filled with food to scatter on the floor. I don't know what words represent his current feelings.

Albert looked up to see the tall building in front of him, he did not think it turned out that the man who was going to marry Vita was the son of Toni Alexander who was none other than one of his colleagues.

For the past three years, Albert and Toni have been working together. Albert's growing property and heavy equipment business allowed him to continue working with the King group. Albert does not know that Toni has now been replaced by Johan Alexander, He only knows If the company as big as King group only has one heir, namely Toni Alexsander's only child.

His footsteps stopped when he saw Johan had just arrived at the office, just before Johan passed him. Albert blocked Johan's move to enter. Johan furrowed his forehead as he looked at the figure of the foreign man who was currently in front of him.

Albert's hands were moved to open the sunglasses that covered his eyes. He turned his lips when he saw Johan was confused. Naturally the new Johan in this field certainly he will not know the figure of Albert.

"Are you Johan Alexander?" ask Albert to make sure.

"Yes right, who are you?" johan asked sharply.

"Include me Albert" said Albert, extending his hand.

With hesitation, Johan shook Albert's hand, as if he had seen this person before him. I don't know where and when exactly.

"Can we talk for a second?" ask Albert.

"What you want to talk about, if it's about business, you can contact my secretary Raksa," Johan said.

"Maybe you don't know, I've been working with your company for a long time. But this time I didn't come here for business" Albert said.

"Then?" johan asked increasingly curious.

"It's about a woman named Vita who will marry you" Albert said.

Johan became increasingly curious about this figure before him. Who he was, what his relationship with Vita was, that pseudo really ignited his curiosity.

"Please follow me," Johan said and then stepped his foot ahead of Albert, with Albert quickly following Johan who had preceded him.
