The Tears of Alena

The Tears of Alena
12. Not Alone

During the return trip Alena made no sound at all, her gaze was blank, while her mind was currently looking far away at the thought of her mother's words.

The words that his mother had been saying were clearly recorded in his memory, how his mother snapped, beat him and compared him to his brothers who were considered more perfect than him.

The hand that is supposed to embrace and hold it when it is down is always used by his mother to slap her own child. And it happened for no apparent reason.

Her tears just escaped when she recalled her mother's words and the behavior she had been getting, it hurt so much if the painful words came out of a mother's mouth. He felt like he had never wanted his presence or maybe it was.

Alena breathed a heavy sigh. Unknowingly his hand was twitching his head which suddenly throbbed pain.

The sight was not separated from Dirga's vision, from that moment secretly the corner of the man's eyes glanced at Alena and noticed every thing she did.

Dirga pulled over his car for a moment, he stared intensely at the face of the hijab Alena without the knowledge of the owner of course, he certainly, because at this time the girl seemed to be wrestling with her heart and mind so that she did not realize if she was watching him from now on.

"Al" he called slowly.

"Emmm yes brother." The girl gasped quickly as she wiped her rough tears, she did not want this man before her to realize her condition. Let him be self-serving without anyone knowing the true circumstances.

"Why stop, brother?"

Without answering the man got out of the car and opened the door on Alena's side.

"We're out for a minute."

Alena according to, she followed Dirga's steps leading her to a place that was not too crowded. Alena looked at Dirga questioningly, but she did not understand.

"Sit down here, I stay tight."

Without waiting for an answer the man left Alena who was confused.

Without waiting for a long time Dirga had returned with a drink he bought in a stall not far from where they were today.

"Now, drink first to be relieved." Dirga thrust a canned drink towards Alena.

"Ec ... Thanks brother."

The man nodded.

"Loe's okay, isn't she?" His hands stretched out gently rubbing his head.

Alena brushed off Dirga's hand, "Em ... Alena's okay, sister."

Dirga did not bother about it and looked closely at the girl's face, clearly visible reddened eyes and a puffy face indicates that her mood is not good. Stared like that Alena lowered her face.

Slowly Dirga's hand raised Alena's chin and rubbed the former tears gently. Alena again wanted to dodge but the urgency happened, because the man said a sentence that was able to calm his heart.

"Gue knows your heart and feelings have been tired all this time, plus the nyokap behavior like that I'm sure now you're broken again. If I may, I would like to be a friend to vent and remove the pain in your heart now."

In a choked voice Alena said, "I'm fine sister."

"Gue knows you're lying" he said seriously.

"Gue could see from the silent look of Loe's eyes. Same story I what you rasain now, I know you will not be the same story Satya for fear brother loe thought 'right?" The drill.

Alena's tears returned, it's true that all this time she did not dare to tell her sister, she did not want to add to the burden of her brother's mind.

"Why should I go through all this... What's my fault, brother." Again and again his tears melted. Dirga swiftly grabbed Alena's fragile shoulders and rubbed her attention.

"I just want freedom, but why is it so hard even when it's so close to the ease with which they all take it. I'm .tired, Brother. If only I didn't remember Satya's sister it might have been me...."

"Shutttt don't think strangely," interrupted Dirga as if knowing the direction of Alena's mind.

Dirga took off her arms to look me in Alena's eyes, looking into those eyes she felt something that made her unable to turn away.

"We love you, Al. Moreover, Satya is Loe's sister, so don't even think to do it again."

Still fresh in Dirga's memory how the girl tried to harm herself by trying to downing poison, lucky that time they found out quickly and could thwart Alena's plan. Not imagined how panicked they were at that time, although successfully thwarted, but the search has managed to get into his body even though little and lucky the poor girl's life is still saved. Since then neither Satya nor she has left the girl alone.

"If you're tired of looking for me or Satya storyain all that loe rasain. Although I can't help much at least I still have a shoulder to loe lean Al." Patting his shoulder.

Alena felt the earnestness behind Dirga's sentence and it was never her from her family despite her own brother. Because Alena did not want to burden her brother's mind.

"Why is sister so good with Alena? I'm dirty brother. I'm not even better than shit."

"Shutttt don't underestimate yourself Alena. Loe is just a victim of their depraved lust and that doesn't mean you're the same as them" he said.

"Flame...."

"Shuttt's." Dirga pointed her index finger at Alena's lips.

"Gue doesn't want to see you self-blame. Why do I admit it all because I've been in your position."

"Gue had a younger sister the same age as Loe, who was so beautiful that her son was jolly before the painful event happened to him." Dirga smiled miris.

"meaning? Don't tell me she's...."

"Right be me, Seira. She was raped by her boyfriend and because of the pressure around her blaspheming herself as a woman was not right. He chose to end his life with the fetus in his stomach."

Her memory goes back to a few years ago when she discovered that her sister Seira's body had been frozen stiff with a frothy mouth, beside him was a bottle of poison that he drank and also a letter saying his apology to himself and his future son.

Sick for sure, Dirga feels not good to be a sister. He's been trying to find the culprit to hold him accountable, but he's nothing like an eel.

Alena was surprised to hear Dirga's confession. Unexpectedly behind the humorous face that he had known so far turned out to hold such a deep wound.

"Sorry," he said guilty.

"Not any message I just one, as heavy as the trials that you experience do not ever think of suicide. There are still many who love the same loe especially brother loe. Don't make your sister feel like she's failing to take care of her brother with the decisions you make."

Alena was silent her mind went back to looking away, her reflection returned to her as she was being shaken and attempted suicide. Even her brother seemed to be shutting himself up and blaming himself.

Now that she felt guilty for her brother, she was sure that not only herself was destroyed but Satya.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Silence envelops two people who have almost the same problem. The bottle in Alena's hand has not been reduced at all. The sound of the phone ringing shocked them.

Drttt drttt

Shaking the phone in his bag distracts him for a moment.

"So soon."

He slowly searched for the flat object.

His throat was choked when he saw his brother's name the guilt came back. With a breath he raised the call.

"Hello brother."

"Where is your grandfather? You're okay, aren't you? Where is Dirga, why isn't he there?"

Alena could hear the panic from her brother's tone and it touched her.

"Alena is okay, sister. Brother don't have to worry about Dirga's sister who is Alena's friend. We'll be home soon."

"Thank God you're okay. Don't wait a long time, brother wait at home."

"Yes, brother."

After that Alena decided on her call.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Feeling Alena had calmed down Dirga took her back to the car and continued their delayed journey.

Silence again coloring their journey both Alena and Dirga were both silent with their respective minds.

Alena was still faithful looking at every corner of the road they passed seen the traders who peddled his merchandise there were also some buskers who scavenged sustenance on the streets.

"It turns out that the distress I was going through was no heavier than they felt" he murmured involuntarily.

"Not always does that trouble bring evil. There's more suffering out there than you're experiencing right now, Al."

Dirga's words suddenly made the curly-haired girl turn her head.

"But see if they are sad?" point it at one of the merchants across the street.

"No, instead they make the shortcomings that are owned as a whip for a better business."

"Just like loe, Al. The path of life that you experience now may look heavy even I myself not necessarily able to menjalaninnya, he said, but as much as possible instill in yourself that all the pain that you are experiencing now someday will be beautiful. All those trials and pains will be over and turned into multiple bliss."

Alena confirmed Dirga's words all this time he always complained about the events that happened to him so he forgot that there are still many people out there whose lives are much more suffering.

"Thank you, Brother."

"Thank you for what? I don't say anything but capital talking doang," dirga giggled amusedly.

"Thank you for the time. Big brother is a good person, I hope that later the person who becomes the big brother's partner is the best person as well."

"One of my requests. Never hurt anyone's sister's partner later," he said earnestly.
