"Well, we can see Maura's father" said Olivia.

"however, it is better to visit him tomorrow, afraid to disturb the father-in-law who is still recovering his condition."

"well, then have you eaten" said Mama Olivia.

"i've eaten mah and so has my wife."

"Now you give your phone to your son-in-law, you want to talk to him."

Ethan then hands his phone to Maura.

"Hello mah?" said Maura.

"Hello baby, how is your father" he said.

"my dad is fine, he's done the operation."

"you're okay, right."

"i'm fine, ma'am."

"mamah is worried you're sad, so mamah asks Ethan to give you his phone."

"i'm fine thank you for worrying about me."

"mom tomorrow will come to the hospital and what about you won't come home."

"my husband and I will be here looking after my father."

"all right, I'll have the driver bring you guys a change of clothes."

"Thank you" said Maura, and they both hung up. Maura then gives her phone back to Ethan.

"are you happy, can you meet your father again?"

"i'm so happy that I finally get to see my father again despite the disappointment in my heart but it doesn't close my heart that I miss the figure of a father so much."

"i can see from his face that he has kicked you out of the house, I'm sure he must be really very sorry" Ethan said as he rubbed his wife's very soft hair.

Maura then hugged her husband she buried her face in her husband's chest and did not feel she shed tears.

"huby you know when my father had the operation I was afraid, I was afraid the operation failed but I keep praying that my father can succeed in his heart surgery" Maura said, sobbing.

Ethan clasped Maura's hand with tenderness. His eyes were filled with deep worry, but he tried to provide wholehearted support.

"My dear, I understand how scared you are. Heart surgery does have risks, but we must keep hoping and praying that everything goes well" Ethan said in a soft voice, trying to calm Maura's broken heart.

Maura took a deep breath, trying to control her explosive emotions. "I love you, Ethan. After all that has happened, I don't want to lose her again. He's my father, even though my feelings are conflicting right now, but deep down, I still love him."

Ethan gently rubbed Maura's cheeks wet with tears. "I know, Honey. Your affection for your father is natural. We all need time to heal wounds, and it's important that we support each other" Ethan said, hugging his wife.

"i'd be happier to be your husband, honey" Ethan said, tightening his arms.

As they were having a conversation suddenly came a middle-aged man approaching Ethan and Maura.

"Young master, young lady, I'm sorry I came late" said the Cristhopers' personal driver who had just arrived at the hospital.

"it's not too late uncle, how about a change of clothes did uncle bring him?" ask Ethan.

"My young master has brought his clothes and this is food from mamah he said to Miss Maura."

"Well, thank you Uncle." said Maura and Ethan.

"then uncle resigns, Mr. Ethan." said Uncle John, the family's personal driver.

"Thank you Uncle John." said Ethan.

As the night wore on, they took a bath and changed their clothes while in the hospital, Ethan kept his eyes closed while Ethan told Maura to sleep, leaving him to take care of his father-in-law.

Ethan helps Maura make the bed in the hospital and provides for all his needs. He gave a soft kiss on Maura's forehead and said, "Rest in peace, dear. I'm here to look after your father."

Maura smiled gently, feeling the warmth in Ethan's words. "Thank you, honey. I know my father would be fine if you took care of him. Please let me know if there's anything I can do."

Ethan nodded, calming Maura down. "I'll take good care of your father. You two are the most meaningful people in my life, and I won't let anything happen to her."

Maura looked at Ethan with deep love. She knows how lucky she is to have a husband like Ethan who is so caring and loyal. After giving a warm smile, Maura wrapped her body over the hospital bed, closing her eyes with a serene feeling.

Meanwhile, Ethan keeps his eyes closed while looking after his father-in-law who is still weak due to his heart surgery. He noticed Maura's father's calm and orderly breathing, feeling relieved that the operation had been successful.

In the silence of the night, Ethan watches over Maura's sleeping father quietly. He mused about the meaning of family, about how love and support can bring people together and give strength in the face of life's trials.

Time passed, and the night turned into a bright morning. Maura woke up with a heart full of love and gratitude. He saw Ethan who was still sitting next to his father, his face full of attention.

Maura approached the two of them with gentle steps. He gives a soft kiss on Ethan's cheek and embraces his father. "Thank you, baby. Thank you for looking after my dad all night."

Ethan smiled and kissed Maura's forehead. "I'll always be by your side, baby. Your father will recover well, I'm very sure.

"Honey, if you are tired you better just sleep it's my turn to look after father" said Maura.

Maura sees Ethan's tired face, which is so eager to look after his father all night. She wanted to give a proper rest to her caring husband. Lovingly, she gently rubbed Ethan's arm.

"You need to rest too, dear. I'll take care of my father now. You can sleep for a while and I will wake you up if there is any need," Maura said softly.

Ethan looked at Maura attentively. He felt the love and attention from his wife. "Thank you, honey. I really appreciate your attention. I'll take a nap, but don't hesitate to wake me up if there's anything."

Maura nodded, giving a gentle smile. He helps Ethan lie down on the available hospital bed, closing his eyes gently. After convincing Ethan that he is comfortable, Maura moves closer to his father's place.

then Maura went into her father's room and saw that her father was still sleeping very fast. Maura then approached her father and gently stroked his father's face.

"Hopefully you can recover quickly and we can get together again" said Maura.
