Chapter 44 - The Couple Who Get along And Don't

“Xia Yun, will we stop at the next village?” Zhuge Liang asked as he spurred his horse side by side with Xia Yun.

“Yes, it's getting dark, we'd better just stay at the next stop.” Xia Yun replied which everyone could hear.

“E....Miyuki, I'm sorry if you feel sore because we've been riding all day and only stopped once.” Xia Yun apologized for feeling bad about Miyuki.

“It's okay, I also never ride a horse so I enjoy it.” Reply Miyuki while looking back and smiling at Xia Yun as Miyuki was currently sitting in front of Xia Yun riding a horse.

In contrast to Xia Yun and Miyuki who were quiet-quiet while riding a horse, Yong Tao and Xin Mei could not calm down. Yong Tao who during the journey continued to talk until it made even the distant Xia Yun a little annoyed with Yong Tao as well as Xin Mei who was in front of Yong Tao annoy Xin Mei and telling Yong Tao to be quiet but free.

“Xia Yun, will we be there soon? is there an inn? how about we eat after booking a room?” That was the ramblings uttered by Yong Tao.

“Can you stop babbling and focus on riding!” Xin Mei's shout was irritated because of Yong Tao.

“Hm? blabbering? Xin Mei, I'm not babbling but I'm doing.” Yong Tao replied then continued to babble and it made Xia Yun rub his face slowly, Miyuki just smiled wryly in response to the quarrel of the two people who looked like those pair of lovers.

“Oh yes! it was not babbling but asking.” Yong Tao continued with a light bulb appearing above his head.

“It's the same!” Shouted Xin Mei.

“Why are you angry Xin Mei?” Yong Tao asked without the slightest guilt and it made them all hold back the laughter that saw Yong Tao's behavior.

“....”

“Xin May?” The Yong Tao.

“Yong Ta-” Xia Yun's words intending to talk about something were cut short because of Yong Tao.

“Shh....Xin May asleep.” Said Yong Tao while putting the index finger of his right hand to his lips hinting not to be noisy.

“Prft, hahaha..” Xia Yun's laughter was loud as he could not bear the laughter from earlier as well as Miyuki who was laughing along.

“Shh....I told you not to make a fuss.” Yong Tao.

"Let's see him first.” Xia Yun wiped his tears from laughing.

Yong Tao who heard Xia Yun's words followed him and checked Xin Mei, as soon as Yong Tao advanced his head to peek at Xin Mei, he said, Yong Tao saw Xin Mei's eyes open and said something that made Xia Yun laugh again.

“You've woken up Xin Mei?” Yong Tao asked like a fool.

“Prft, hahahaha.” Xia Yun laughed again because of Yong Tao's silly behavior as well as Miyuki.

“Ho ho ho....Youth is indeed the best, you guys look like lovers, who one get along well and one doesn't.” Said Zhuge Liang who was at the very back of observing Xia Yun and Yong Tao's behavior.

Miyuki who was initially laughing suddenly blushed her face for some reason upon hearing Zhuge Liang's words, Xia Yun who was aware that she also had to be a little embarrassed was afraid that Miyuki felt bad about having to pair with him. Xin Mei who heard that immediately denied Zhuge Liang.

“Hmph don't expect me to be with him.” Rebutting Xin Mei while putting both her hands to her chest and snorting in annoyance.

“See! The village is already visible.” Yong Tao ignored Zhuge Liang's words as if going right in and out left in Yong Tao's ears.

Xia Yun who heard Yong Tao immediately spurred his horse faster because he was afraid that Miyuki was getting sore because she had been riding for half an hour. Yong Tao and Zhuge Liang also took their horses after Xia Yun who had already driven first in front of them.

After racing their horses for about 20 minutes, Xia Yun's entourage had finally reached the entrance of the Village they had come to. In front of the entrance of the village there is a signpost the name of this Village that reads Lotus Village. Xia Yun and the others descended from his horse choosing to walk alone, Xia Yun, Zhuge Liang and Yong Tao pulled their horses walking into the Village.

When Xia Yun's entourage entered, many gazes were directed at them, Xia Yun who was looking at the pair of old people who were looking back at him looked at the two then lowered his head slightly then gave his smile and continued walking forward. The reason why Xia Yun's entourage became the gaze of the villagers to the wanderers was because of their appearance that could be said to be handsome and beautiful, do not forget to use the word very to complement their good looks and beauty.

Xia Yun who did not know if there was any lodging in this Village immediately asked System as he walked without direction.

“Lily, is there lodging in this village?” Xia Yun asked inwardly.

Xia Yun followed the direction of System walking straight ahead with Miyuki to his right and Zhuge Liang and Yong Tao with Xin Mei to the back.

“Ah! that's it.” Said Xia Yun who could be heard by everyone then immediately walked up to the inn that was meant by System followed by Zhuge Liang and Yong Tao as well as Xin Mei and Miyuki. The servant who saw Xia Yun's entourage approached them and offered to deliver the horses that Xia Yun, Zhuge Liang and Yong Tao had brought. Xia Yun and the others happily gave the servant a man who looked just 12 years old.

Xia Yun immediately entered into the inn which was quite good despite being in the Village but this inn was not inferior to the one in the City. Xia Yun walked up to the Men's reception desk then immediately said they booked five rooms.

“I want to order five kama-.” Xia Yun's speech was cut off because Miyuki suddenly said that she was going to one room with Xin Mei and Xin Mei nodded her head in agreement.

“Xia Yun, Me and Xin Mei will sleep one room because it is not good to sleep alone.” Miyuki obviously to Xia Yun.

“Good. I want to book four rooms for one night.” Xia Yun said to the receptionist then the receptionist quickly picked out the four room keys and handed them to Xia Yun

“45 silver coin Young Master.” Obviously the receptionist.

Xia Yun who had no other coins other than gold could only give one gold coin and it made the receptionist startled, Xia Yun told to take the rest for wanting to quickly break. Xia Yun immediately handed out the room keys to everything and walked up to the second floor instead of the third floor because Xia Yun had only booked an ordinary room.

Time had already distributed the room keys, Xia Yun and the others immediately went up to the second floor, when Xia Yun wanted to enter his room, Xia Yun said, Hu Wang who had been together with Zhuge Liang during the trip ran towards Xia Yun as if he wanted to sleep together, Xia Yun opened the door of his room and carried Hu Wang into his room.

Zhuge Liang, Yong Tao and Xin Mei as well as Miyuki immediately entered their respective rooms as soon as they saw Xia Yun enter first into his room. Xia Yun placed Hu Wang on the bed, Xia Yun intended to clean himself up first before going out for dinner because time had already shown seven o'clock at night. Previously Xia Yun had also told everyone to have dinner together after finishing cleaning up first.

After cleaning up, Xia Yun returned to wearing his white clothes and walked out leaving Hu Wang who was already asleep on the bed first. Xia Yun knocked on Zhuge Liang's door first then Yong Tao and the women as their rooms were five next to each other.

Already gathered everything, Xia Yun and the others descending from the second floor continued walking out. As usual, Xia Yun must have asked about where is the most delicious restaurant in this Village on the System that Xia Yun already considers as a versatile google. Xia Yun who already knew where the restaurant that had good food immediately led everything towards that restaurant.

The five entered the restaurant that Xia Yun intended or rather System and were immediately greeted by the restaurant's waiter, The female servant who welcomed Xia Yun's entourage was shocked to see the faces of the guests she welcomed today as gods and goddesses descending from the sky. The female servant immediately acted professionally delivering Xia Yun's entourage to the table and returned to serve the other customers.

Not long after, there was another Female Servant who had come asking what food Xia Yun's entourage would order, The Lady Servant was also surprised to see the appearance of Xia Yun's entourage, too, but her shock grew even more as Xia Yun ordered all the menus in this restaurant which made the Lady Maid startled back and immediately withdrew to tell Xia Yun's entourage order.

While waiting for the food to come, Yong Tao again acted coolly to talk until the food they ordered had come. Yong Tao who was originally busy babbling directly stopped his chatter and immediately ate the food that came. After they had all finished the meal, Xia Yun called the waiter earlier and paid for the food they had eaten and directly walked out of the restaurant towards the inn to rest because tomorrow they still wanted to continue on the journey.

The next day, Xia Yun woke up from his sleep and immediately got out of bed and cleaned up because he would continue the journey in the morning right after they finished filling their stomachs first. Finished cleaning up, Xia Yun was wearing his usual white clothes because it only had those clothes that Xia Yun was comfortable wearing.

Xia Yun gathered Zhuge Liang, Yong Tao, Miyuki and Xin Mei, all of them were already prepared from the morning as Xia Yun knocked on their bedroom door, they instantly came out without having Xia Yun wait like before.

Xia Yun again invited everyone over for breakfast at the restaurant they visited yesterday because of the cuisine they had all eaten. As usual, Xia Yun's entourage became the view of the villagers to the wanderers but Xia Yun and the others simply ignored him and remained focused.

A few minutes walking from the inn, Xia Yun's entourage arrived at the restaurant they came to yesterday, the maid who delivered Xia Yun yesterday saw Xia Yun's entourage coming immediately to deliver them to the table. Xia Yun returned to order all the food available and once the food arrived, Xia Yun and the others immediately filled their stomachs.

After finishing filling up the stomach, Xia Yun and the others returned to the inn to return the room keys as they had forgotten before as well as taking the three horses they had tucked away earlier. Xia Yun and the others did not directly ride the horse as they were still inside the Village, they waited when it was already outside the Village then they rode it.

When Zhuge Liang and Yong Tao wanted to ride their horses, Xia Yun stopped them because he wanted to do something first. The two of them followed Xia Yun. Xia Yun took out a single horse carriage right in front of all of them and it made all of them shocked because yesterday Xia Yun did not use that carriage. The curious Yong Tao asked about Xia Yun but and Xia Yun only replied that he had just bought it yesterday.
