"Thank you Miss Tanya for your compliments. This toast is my respect to you!" Selena was a little anxious in her heart. A monthly wage of one million dollars, such a job would be very hard to find. It seems that even the monthly wage of a general manager would not come close to that.
"You're too good! For a happy collaboration then!" Tanya did not act arrogant as she walked over and poured red wine for herself then gently smashed her wine glass with Selena's glass before drinking.
"Jack, now that your wife has agreed to work with us, you can't take back your words now, tell me your price?" Tanya beamed as she prayed in her heart if her father knew she had hired Jack as their bodyguard, uncertain how happy she was.
Everyone's face was sweating. Since Miss Tanya was not only not angry after hearing Jack's outrageous statement, she seemed to very much want Jack to be a part of their Drake family and make him a bodyguard.
Jack laughed bitterly and said, "Well, I have no choice now and it seems, I have to agree to it!" While saying that, Jack paused for a moment then said, "But, I have a condition. Regarding wages, I can be paid a little less, besides, I am not short of freedom. That means I'll only come to work when I have time and if there's anything, I'll have to go out and take care of it, right!"
Tanya's expression looked strange. How does this work, is this not called living like a master?
"What do you think, Jack? You're there to be a bodyguard, you work for people so you have to comply with their requirements. How can you go whenever you want?" Fiona was furious. This bastard finally found a very good job and he's become very unreasonable now.
