Wrong decision making

After cleaning himself up, Max walks towards Sandra's room, but when Max sees that her mother's room door is open.

"Mother" Max looked inside and it turned out his mother's room was empty, there was no one. Max turns around and decides to go to the kitchen who knows his mother is there, and Max sees Sandra chatting with Theo.

"Hey boy! That's the morning you came," Max pulled a chair in front of Sandra.

"Ck! I like it!" Theo's reply was not received.

"Already, you guys are always fighting. By the way, this is your Max meal?" Ask Sandra.

"Yes," Max proudly picked up one menu and handed it to Sandra "Try guaranteed it tastes good."

Sandra smiled and accepted the food and tried it "Yes, it's delicious" she said sincerely.

"You too Theo, eat it" Max said.

Without hesitation Theo took a menu and devoured it "Without you telling me, I'll eat it."

Max took the spoon and hit Theo on the head a little hard and said, "I am still your teacher! So you respect me."

"Aren't I honoring you all this time?" Ask Theo plain face asking to be punched.

"You..! Haiss it's wrong I accepted you, huhmp!" Max puts in the food regardless of Theo again.

"Hehehe..." Not knowing the shame Theo took one more menu and devoured it with pleasure.

"Come on! Eat a lot" Sandra added a menu to Theo.

"Waaah... Sure mom!"

Max does not like when Theo calls Sandra his mother. However, he was lazy to argue with her in the morning especially now that Sandra was there.

"I'm done," Max stood up and walked to the back "If you've met me in the backyard."

"Well," Theo replied with a mouth full of food.

"Eat slowly Theo, no one will take it away from you" Sandra worried herself for this one child, though she often quarreled with Max, but Sandra knew that deep in her heart Theo respected and admired Max, her teacher.

"I'm done ma'am, if that's how I'm going to go back in fear of him getting angry again" Theo whispered at the end of the sentence and Sandra just nodded while chuckling.

"Where go."

Theo walked back and found Max sitting in a saung. Theo approached and sat in front of him.

"What did you call me?" Tanya Theo started a conversation.

"How old are you?"

"Huh? So you called me here just to ask me my age?" Theo asked with a cengo face.

"13."

"Do you live around here? Honestly, as long as I'm here, I haven't seen anyone but you."

"I live across the river so you've never met me."

"Then do you still have complete parents?" Max poured the tea and sipped it before drinking.

"Of course, why are you asking such things anyway?" Theo scratched his hair, he looked at Max and had no idea what the young man was thinking "Don't tell me you're going to propose to me?" Guess Theo perfunctorily.

"Don't just talk about who's going to propose to you!" Max returns to the head of Theo.

"OK okay enough! Can't your hands be quiet?" Theo dodged backwards as Max again raised his hand.

"Hm? Yeah..." Max shrugged his shoulders indifferently and went back to drinking his tea.

"I'm going to get out of this place and go to a faraway place where the power will decide your fate. I got a job from someone to help a town from a disaster, but before I leave, I want to ask you a question. You, as my student, either want to go with me or choose to stay here" Max said seriously and waited for an answer from Theo.

It was silent for a while before Max heard the sound of laughter in front of him.

"Pff! Ahaha! You you? Got a job to stop the disaster? Huh... Just be right! Ahaha!" Theo laughed out loud he even held onto his stomach which was aching from laughing for too long.

Max looked at Theo casually and shrugged indifferently no matter what Theo said, let it be later also he will know the truth.

"So you want to come, don't you?" Max asked back casually.

"Haha sure! Of course I'm gonna follow you, I wonder what kind of hero you're gonna be. Pfftt hahaha!" Theo laughed again, I don't know what made the boy laugh when Max just said ordinary sentences there is no funny element at all, but it can make Theo laugh for so long.

"Stop laughing Theo! I'm serious! If you want to follow me, you have to be ready for the risks. I can't guarantee you what to do after this, because your life and death.... You're holding it."

"....Are you serious about what you say?"

"Did you see I was making a joke?"

Theo watched Max and indeed this time on his handsome face there was no sign that he was joking. Theo pondered for a moment what Max said earlier, he thought it good to come along or not? If he did not come along he could only become an ordinary gardener even though his life was normal yet it would be quite safe for him. However, on the other hand, if he came there might be a danger that threatens his life, but there is also a possibility if he will get luck there. Theo massaged his head for a while before deciding which one to choose.

"Well... Alright, I've decided that I will always follow you!" Theo saluted his teacher.

"Good!" Max patted his student on the shoulder in satisfaction "You take it easy, if you're lucky enough you'll get great power but if you're unlucky at least you'll just die," Max said casually.

Theo was stunned to hear Max's words and saw the teacher's face smiling with satisfaction "Did I make the wrong decision?"
