Around 928, the Hindu Mataram King Mpu Sindok moved the royal palace of Mataram Kingdom from Central Java to East Java (Medang). The transfer of the government center is due to the onslaught of the Srivijaya Kingdom and the eruption of Mount Merapi.
However, not all Mataram Hindu boyongan nobles to Medang Kamulan. Some noble families, especially those with the Sanjaya Dynasty, chose to remain in Mataram, to run the wheel of government, and to block attacks from Srivijaya.
These nobles, who became the ancestors of Raden Sumowirejo, a figure who later became one of Kanjeng Sunan Ampel's kinasih disciples, and was given the nickname Sunan Kembang Kuning.
Mataram was about to break away from Majapahit rule, when there was a civil war, known as the Paregreg war, in which Kulon Palace against Etan Palace.
Wikramawardhana who became king at Kulon Palace was at odds against Bhre Wirabhumi, the ruler of the Eastern Palace. They finally went to war in 1405.
In 1406 the army of the western court led by Bhre Tumapel destroyed the eastern palace. Bhre Wirabhumi was killed at the hands of Raden Gajah aka Bhra Narapati. Wikramawardhana became the sole ruler of Mojopahit.
It's just that, Majapahit losses are very large with the existence of this Paregreg war. That is, the territory of the power of Patih Gajah Mada, one by one, trying to escape.
Rebellions began to emerge sporadically in various duchies. One of them, who wants to escape the power of Majapahit is the Duchy of Mataram.
Of course Majapahit did not stay silent. Sporadic fighting sometimes took place between Mataram forces and Majapahit forces. Among those Mataram soldiers, there was the figure of a small child. This is Raden Sumowirejo.
He's not a random kid. As a descendant of the King of Mataram, Raden Sumowirejo has shown an extraordinary leadership spirit. His canonical knowledge is also equivalent to the monks, priests, and champions in the Duchy of Mataram.
For this reason, when there are calls to go to war, despite his age of 12 years, Raden Sumowirejo still allowed to go to war. Because, all the senopati owned by Mataram, unable to defeat him.
This war request, actually quite burdensome to the royal family, considering Raden Sumowirejo, when he grew up, was predicted to become the highest leader in the Duchy of Mataram.
But, who would dare to oppose Raden Sumowirejo's wishes?
Why could?
Because, in addition to practicing various Hindu science, and canoragan science to the Hitu Rishi, Raden Sumowirejo also secretly trained to the Swadaraya Sesi, which specifically worships Lord Shiwa, the God of Destruction.
Canoragan exercises are usually done at night. With his ability, Resi Swadaraya, can appear in the palace of Mataram. Raden Sumowirejo is waiting to be trained.
Resi Swadaraya is indeed looking for the most suitable figure to continue his knowledge. In his vision, he had to go to the palace of Mataram, and find a human who had a mole mark under his left ear. Apparently, Resi Swadaraya found the sign on the figure of Raden Sumowirejo, who was then 5 years old.
Since then, unbeknownst to the palace dwellers, Raden Sumowirejo has been in the arms of Resi Hitu, to master the only science of Mount Tidar, which has destructive power, and flowed black.
But, in the daytime, it was Resi Hitu's turn to teach Raden Sumowirejo with ethics, manners, and white canoragan science.
As a child, all the lessons were swallowed raw, without knowing it was good or evil. All the knowledge taught by these two Rishis, practiced and buried both.
So, as it turned out, there emerged a new canoragan science power that is very difficult to find compared to him.
That is why, when Raden Sumowirejo declared his participation in the war, no one dared to forbid.
It was this war that allowed Raden Sumowirejo to breathe air outside the palace walls. The other side that he had never seen, was the condition of the people who were extremely miserable. Living in limitations, and tattered clothes and hunger, as a result of the state and the duchy were busy at war.
View after sight of that awful, really so imprinted in the mind of raden Sumowirejo. Understandably, all this time he lived in the glittering palace of Mataram. Not infrequently, he shed tears, if he saw the suffering of the people.
