Kiara broke the silence with a single question that made Ferdo's mood instantly deteriorate. "Xavir can't come with us?"

Ferdo swallowed a bitter pill. His heart was in pain because of a question he thought was highly inappropriate. They both cheated in front of him. Crazy right?

Ferdo took a deep breath to relieve the tightness in the chest. He cleared his throat a few times to neutralize the emotions.

Kiara looked at Ferdo with sparkling eyes. "Thank you, yeah."

The voice made Kiara look towards the front, as well as Ferdo who turned the body to see who the owner of the voice was.
