A Lamborghini Aventador raced on the deserted streets of the City. It's almost midnight, so it's only natural that the streets are getting quiet. The car was driven by a handsome but expressionless man, Ken Xiao. That's the name of that handsome guy.

After almost twenty minutes of driving. The luxury car arrives at a luxury mansion that has three floors, Ken got out of his car and waltzed into the three-story building.

Upon his arrival at home, Ken is shocked by the existence of a middle-aged woman who is waiting for his return. "Ma, why hasn't Mama slept and what are you doing here?" ask Ken to the woman.

The woman looked over. "Ken, you're finally home too. Do you know how much Mama worries about you." her arrival was greeted by scolding by the middle-aged woman who was none other than Aster.

Ken took a deep breath and stopped him. "Why wait for me? Don't you know I'm late tonight, and where is Papa? Has he not come home yet?"

"He's been home since this afternoon. Yes, it's better to take a quick shower, change your clothes and then sleep. But you've had dinner, haven't you?" ask Aster to make sure. Ken nodded his head. Then he got out of front of his mother and left.

Aster was always worried about his son. Ken is the only son he has. Keanu forbids Aster to have another child because he is still traumatized when he almost loses her while giving birth to their only son, Ken.

Ken is now twenty-five years old. He leads and serves as CEO in the main company branch.

Keanu wanted Ken to take his place and become CEO of a major company, but he turned it down and chose to be a leader in a branch company.

The ringing sound on his phone caught Ken's attention a little, the man paused his intention to go into the bathroom. He wondered who contacted him in the middle of the night.

Foreign number.

Keanu turned his head after hearing the sound of the door being opened from outside. It is seen Aster entering their room and approaching Keanu who is checking the report on his laptop.

"Ken, are you home?" ask Keanu to make sure.

Aster nodded. "She just got home" and answered briefly.

"It's late at night, you better get some sleep. Don't get sick just from lack of sleep. Besides, Ken's not a kid anymore, why wait till late at night?!"

Aster turned his head and arranged Keanu with a hunch. "What if he's not a kid anymore? In my eyes he is still a child who must always be considered. And before he got married and had a partner, Ken was a kid to me. So don't mostly protest about my concern for her, understand!!" aster said at length.

Keanu sighed. When it comes to Ken, Aster doesn't want to lose.

Let alone to scold him, just admonish him he would not dare because Aster always defended him. And there could be a 2nd world war if Keanu dared to scold let alone nag Ken, because Aster will stand in the front guard to defend their son.

"Well, I won't talk anymore. I was wrong, I'm sorry." Keanu said regretfully.

Apologizing is the best way to get out of trouble, succumbing and apologizing is the only way to prevent long and tiring debates..
