The Strange School

The Strange School
Curhatan Bian

Aira Pov's

The next morning, I acted as if nothing had happened. I've returned Bian's phone to the beginning and I've erased all traces on his phone. Bian had not yet woken up from his sleep.

I'm ready neatly wearing a uniform while in the kitchen frying eggs for breakfast. I also made coffee for my dad.

"Is this what you call the picture of the future?" there was a wet voice coming from behind.

With her disheveled hair, pillow face, and still hoarse voice she followed me to the kitchen.

"Are you ready?"

"I should have asked. How did you just wake up? What time is it?!" my reply.

"I'm still dizzy" he lamented.

"Yes on?!"

"Not going to school today. We're truant. How's it?" bring him.

"Stupid yourself, yeuuu"

"I think today the weather is suitable for the beach. See the sunset, drink coconut ice on the beach, eat grilled fish, plus ice cream"

Come to think of it, it looks good too. I haven't been to the beach for a long time. Besides, lately my mind has been messed up thinking about something that was beyond my expectations. Maybe if I clear my head on the beach, it can help. Okay, this time I want to go with him.

"Hussstt, how? Wanna?" Bian poked my arm because I was daydreaming.

"Traktir huh?" I said.

"Ck! Yes, it's easy if it's good"

"Okee, I can" I'll put my lips together.

"What about Rida?"

"Why do you keep thinking about him?! There are police on guard too"

"If he finds you?"

"It's not hard to think about" he replied.

"But don't tell me who it is. Especially when I know!" my index finger was pointing at Bian's face.

"Yeahaaaa"

"What are you talking about?" Bernan came with a suspicious face.

"Eh, Om! Good morning om!" Bian approached me and kissed my hand.

"Yes, morning. Did you go out?"

"Hehehe om"

"Whose name?"

"Bian om"

"Bian, don't do it often" I patted Bian on the shoulder.

"Ehehe, yes, om"

"It's yeah!" I caught up with those sitting at the dinner table, giving Dad a cup of coffee.

"Today you're not in school?" I asked Bian.

"Uhmmmm, today I let om ehehe"

"Aira too?" dad glanced at me.

"Huh? Yep.. Eng.not me well. Aira is okay, so yes still go to school" I said lying.

"Oh, if so, I'll just go"

"Well, didn't you have breakfast? Aira fried eggs"

"Not do it. Dad's in a hurry"

"Hmmm, it's a habit. Yaudah bentar"

"It's yeah! Don't be late for lunch!" I brought back the lunchbox for Dad.

"Yeah. Yaudah father left first. Bian, um leave first yeah"

"Yes, be careful"

Dad's gone. Time to get back to the plan. First, I told Henna and asked her to let me know that I couldn't go to school because I wasn't feeling well. Luckily Henna understood that and did not suspect me.

"Berez! Yup!" my chirping.

Along the way, I who was too lazy to chat it took the earphones from the bag and immediately peeled in the ear wanted to hear a favorite song. But not yet I put the earphone next to the ear, Bian had already interrupted him.

"You don't want to hear my story?" said.

"Hm?" I looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"News?"

"What story?" forehead shrinking.

"What do you want to hear about me?"

"Nothing!" godaku's.

"I'm jealous of you" he confessed that way.

"Huh? Envied? Same me? Why?" I started to get interested in the topic of the conversation, removing the earphones.

"Have a father like your father" he said with a lethargic face.

"What happened to your father?"

"I haven't actually told anyone about my family. To Rida though. If I dare to tell you, then you know what dong means?"

"What does that mean?"

"That means you're special!" he said, pinching my cheek.

Is.deg....

There's something I can't control. My heart was beating faster than before. What does this mean? Wait, is my face flushed? If so, what if he finds out?. Control yourself Ai, why are you?

"You know our principal, right?"

"Know. So, what does the principal have to do with your story?"

"He's my father"

"Well?!" I'm looking forward to not believing.

"Kok I've never seen your interaction with your father?"

"Keep, what's wrong with him?"

"I don't have a good relationship with him. I have a bad family circle"

"Why is that?"

"He is hard. From childhood he always hit me when I made a mistake. He also always forbids doing what I like and always tells me what he likes. I don't like that. That's where I hate him"

"But everything changed instantly. When in front of other people, my father turned into the best father in the world. Not only that, but it may also be the happiest family in the world. So people think it's like they see my family. It's not, hahah!" laughs miris.

"Otherwise, with my mom. At first, my relationship was fine with my mother. When I was 6 years old, my mom hit me a lot. Maybe it was the impact of my mother's revenge on my father that couldn't be conveyed. That's why mom took it out on me"

"You mean, your dad beat up your mom, too? Wh why? They quarreling?"

"Yaaa, that kind of thing"

"Until the end, I don't feel at home. He left me when I was 8. He left me with a man I hated. At that time I also had a thought that it turned out that my mother was more evil for not taking me away with her and instead leaving me at home with my father"

"Where is your mother now? Have you ever tried to find him?"

"No results. I've completely lost track of him"

"Until the end I feel mature enough to fight it. I was walking away from home when I was just sitting on the Junior High. Even though I don't know what to eat, where to live, who. Finally yes, I just keep walking while carrying a backpack. The road knows no direction"

"But you could find me back then. He took me home. He said, 'Remain you?! How will people see later? What will they say?!'. He could still think of other people's views that were clearly inversely proportional to my circumstances. He didn't think about my feelings at all"

"And like you said, I hardly ever interacted with him in school. Wh why? Because I don't want to. I almost avoided him when he came. That's why I said I envy you for having a father like your father. I really want to feel it"

"When your father was warning me in his low tone like I was feeling touched"

I was immediately filled with Bian's story that can be said to be contrary to his cheerful nature although sometimes annoying and creepy face. Apparently, everyone has their own life test. I saw his sad face. So I took the initiative to put my hand on his.

"But you can, right?" I said with a smile hoping to cheer him up.

"You can finally get to this second. Meet me, get a chance to meet my dad, and with the others"

"Now I ask, be who you want to be. It's not you your father asked for. And don't instill the vices of your father in you. Be a good father to your children. And of course, a good husband for your wife. Okay?" I raised my thumb.

"Thank you?" Bian is confused

"Thank you for believing in me. Thanks for telling your story"

"I'm grateful too" he said.

"You want to hear my story"

After hearing the story from Bian, I opened the window wide because I wanted to feel the wind. The wind was strong enough to make my hair flutter irregularly.

I enjoyed it so much that I fell asleep. I woke up when it turned out that I had reached my destination and did not see Bian beside me. I rubbed my eyes, yawned, and still collected my whole life.

"Eh? You up?" suddenly Bian appeared carrying coconut ice in both hands.

"Well, nyampe from earlier? How am I not built?"

"So you slept really well. Not bad" he said.

"We drink there!" Bian pointed to a wooden bench on the beach, under a coconut tree to be exact.

Before going there, I fumbled around me looking for my phone. As I remember, I put it on my thigh. But as soon as I woke up, I couldn't find my phone.

"Where's my phone?" I was fumbling around.

"I bring. I'm matiin"

"Why?" my eyebrows fused.

"Today is pure time for both of us. So, all my phones are off"

"Well, is that it?"

"Udah, ayokk! This pegel hunt megangin coconut!" his weakness.

We both sat on a wooden bench enjoying the fresh coconut ice. Soon, two men came to us with grilled fish and rice.

"Thank you sir" we said almost simultaneously.

"Have you taken everything?" I said.

"hey are. Than you waited a long time. Mumpung you are still sleeping, so nyampe directly pesen deh!" inexplicably.

Meanwhile, just before the entrance bell rang, Tama arrived at the school with the Eagle. Today Tama looked lethargic because of her problem with Aira yesterday. Moreover, until now he had no contact with Aira. Tama understood that Aira still did not accept that fact. But Tama can't be long like this. Tama wanted to explain everything so Aira could understand.

"God!" The eagle patted Tama on the shoulder as Tama daydreamed continuously.

"Dreaming is it?! Go on, hunt, want a bell"

Tama and Eagle walked towards the class together because their class was one lane. But, when Tama passed Aira class, Tama saw the empty Aira bench. Aira's bag wasn't on that bench. Tama frowned, wondering where Aira had gone. Does he really not want to meet Tama until he does not go to school?

"Woy! Still a nglamun si?! Wh why? Concerned Aira?" god Eagle.

"Ng.no" Tama replied nervously.

"Well, where is he? The bag is also missing" The new eagle realized Aira's absence.

Tama ignored the Eagle's words. He ran to continue his journey even though he was also sad because Aira who did not go to school without news.

Tama is sad, while Aira jokes with Bian for trying to eliminate all the thoughts that he does not need to think. Aira continued to laugh until she did not realize that there were people who were fascinated and captivated by her laughter. The man kept looking at how he was laughing and squinting smiling eyes.

"Bian" call Aira lirih.

"Hm?" Bian raised his eyebrows and immediately put on his body ready to listen to what Aira was going to say.

"Can I ask you? But honestly yes"

"What's that?"

"What, really, are you guys working on building that prostitution business?"

The deg!

Aira spoke directly to her point and suddenly made Bian jerk and was confused to answer what.

"Why are you asking me about that again?"

"Yes, I want to know. Really not"

"I'm not going to interfere in your business. I just need a definite answer. Yes or no, that's it. The rest is up to you"

"I really won't interfere in your problems or even report you to the police. I was too lazy to take care of all that. I would be sad to hear it too"

"Yes" Bian answered him steadily without hesitation.

"The answer is yes"

"You guys really did that?" tanya Aira made sure.

"Yes!"

"I'm sorry you heard this. Sorry for making you sad. But we're doing it"

"We built the dark business, sold the women, and got a lot of it"

"Including Shinta?" Aira put on a sharp look.

Bian nodded in doubt for fear of angering Aira.

"Haffff.hh....." Aira breathed a disappointed breath.

"Why did you do that?"

"Later you'll know for yourself" Bian replied lightly.

Actually I want to do something. Confused what to do. I have also promised not to interfere and know enough about their affairs. Especially to talk about this to others as well.

Now, one thing that Asma wrote in his book proved to be true. Just read the next pages I haven't opened yet. Also the Asthma-given flasdisk I haven't opened yet. I'm sure there's a lot more there. And one by one I'll open and try to find out even though I'm not sure I can.

Tama, Eagle and Hatta meet in the cafeteria. Tama and the Eagle came first and Hatta came later. The initial plan that Hatta would come up with was a failure because Hatta did not find Bian in class. The bench is also empty. The eagle who saw Hatta coming alone asked him.

"Well, where's Bian? He said he came with her?" - Elang.

"He didn't come in today" - Hatta.

"Where?" -Elang.

"Your boy! Stupid kalik?!" - Hatta.

Bian did not enter, Aira also did not enter?, Tama's mind began to suspect.

To the front at that moment, passed Henna who was carrying a bowl of meatballs alone in the cafeteria.

"Hen!" Tama stopped Henna's steps.

"Where's aira?" ask Tama.

"Well? Didn't he tell you?"

"He didn't come in today. It hurts" Henna explained.

"It hurts?" -Tama

"Heeh" Henna nodded confidently.

"Don't tell me you're suspicious of those who don't go in together" - Elang.

"Who do you mean?" Henna asked confusedly.

Tama immediately left the canteen.

"Tam! Where you going?" the Eagle shouted unheeded.

Tama moved away from the three of them to call Aira. Many times he tried to contact Aira, but all he heard was the same operator's voice. Tama's getting upset.

...

It's getting late. Aira and Bian were also satisfied to enjoy their time at the beach. They came home soon because otherwise Aira's father would have been suspicious if she didn't come home soon.

They had reached the courtyard of Aira's house.

"Not come by first? The same pampering father maybe?" - Aira.

"Yeah. I want to say goodbye first" - Brian.

At first glance there was no strange feeling before entering Aira's house. But, as soon as Aira opened the door,

"Assalamualaik-" Aira's greeting came to a halt as she was shocked to see who was coming to meet Aira's house.

Surprised not dumbfounded when he saw his friends come to you. Yes, they are Henna, Eagle, Tama, and Hatta. Beside them was also Aira's father who was entertaining them. As soon as Aira entered, Bian followed behind. And similarly, Bian was also surprised by their presence. Aira and Bian only focused on one point. Namely, Tama who was drinking a treat from Aira's father with his wife and his sharp glances. Not to forget, his grin seemed to say,

"Because of you!"
