"You must be shameless, Ji Cheng." Hua Wanru blocked the slash that came with his sword while looking at Ji Cheng coldly.

Ji Cheng smiled faintly. "What do you mean, Fairy Wanru? I didn't do anything embarrassing, did I? Why did you call me shameless?"

"Get rid of your hypocritical smile. I want to vomit every time I see it." On the side, Hua Litong said as he slashed at one of the members of the Sword Sect.

Right now, Hua Litong's group had no way of escaping as Ji Cheng's people had blocked their path.

"Oi! You guys, don't hurt their faces. Understood?" A tall handsome young man with red hair said. He was wearing the clothes of the Sacred Fire Sect. He crossed his arms, looking at Hua Litong's body with a perverted smile on his face.

"Understand, Young Master Huo." Everyone from the Sacred Fire Sect said in unison.

Ji Cheng glanced at the arrogant Huo Ao with a hint of dissatisfaction. He hated people like this the most. However, he did not plan to say anything as they shared the same goal at the moment.

"I'll use the Last Mist." One among the three members of the Misty Cloud Sect said. His name is Yun Jing. He was one of the strongest members besides Yun Chan and Yun Ting, and he could also use the Last Fog.

The other two women hurriedly stopped him. "Don't! Sister Jing. Hold on a minute. I'm sure the other sisters will be here soon."

Yun Jing chose to listen to them. Although she was strong, compared to Yun Chan and Yun Ting, her personality was softer and not as firm as the two. There was a chance that he could not defeat all opponents before the effects of the Last Fog ended. Therefore, he decided to hold on, holding this fight even further.

"Dead!" A storm of petals appeared around the figure of Hua Litong. He pointed his sword at a man from the Sacred Fire Sect in front of him, a storm of petals encircled his sword and pierced straight into the man's heart.

The expressions of Ji Cheng and Huo Ao suddenly changed upon seeing this scene. It was too late for them to save the man.

Hua Litong drew his sword and retreated, dodging attacks from other opponents nearby.

"Junk!" Huo Ao had no sympathy for the dead man and even insulted him.

At this moment, a powerful aura shot out from Yang Mengli's body as he swung his sword at the members of the Sword Sect in front of him, slashing his head directly.

Ji Cheng's eyes narrowed, and killing intent shot out from his body. Originally, he had thought everything was within his grasp and there should be no casualties among his subordinates. Unexpectedly, Yang Mengli and the others were much stronger than them.

Ji Cheng pulled out his sword, standing still and a terrifying aura shot out from his sword. His figure shot out in a split second in front of Yang Mengli and quickly thrust out his sword.

Jem!

Blood splashed into the air and a serious wound appeared on Yang Mengli's left shoulder. Ji Cheng did not stop there. He continued to attack Yang Mengli, forcing him into a corner of the hallway.

Hua Litong saw this. He quickly pushed his opponent away and jumped at Ji Cheng, along with a storm of petals encircling his sword.

Ji Cheng had always been watching Hua Litong all this time because he was the only person who could hurt him. Therefore, when Hua Litong attacked him, he could easily dodge his sword and counterattack.

Desing!

Their swords collided with each other, producing a loud sound that echoed through the passageway. Ji Cheng was pushed back a few steps and Hua Litong managed to arrive at Yang Mengli's side.

"Are you okay?" Hua Litong asked worriedly.

Yang Mengli's current state was extremely miserable. There were several holes in his robe and many fatal wounds were visible on his body. He lifted his head and replied, "I'm fine." However, he knew that he could not use his left arm anymore.

Hua Litong did not have time to take care of Yang Mengli because Ji Cheng had launched another attack on him.

"Are you sure there's no transmission formation there? Then how can I bring my female senior here?" Yun Lintian asked as he stared at the battle on the projection.

Yan Qi shook his head. "Young man, you must learn how to be content with what you have. If you want to see them, you can go to them or wait for them to come here. It's that simple." Yan Qi looked at the projection and said further, "When I built this place, I did not intend to bring anyone here directly. If it wasn't for the formation not being able to suppress the Sun any longer, you would have never found a way to this place."

Yun Lintian was silent for a moment. The only thing he could do right now was to finish off the enemies above this place first. However, there was not a single killing formation around the statue. He could not kill them.

He moved his right hand slightly and the sun ball slowly descended into his palm. The moment he touched it, he could feel the connection between him and every formation around this place. A moment later, he moved the statue to shift backwards.

Hua Litong and Ji Cheng fought each other. The strength between the two seemed the same.

"I didn't expect you to hide your strength this deep. The people who rate you as a fallen genius are completely blind." Ji Cheng praised Hua Litong.

However, Hua Litong knew this person was a hypocrite. He did not care about his words and continued to attack Ji Cheng.

"I think I should be serious now. If I accidentally hurt you, please don't take it to heart." Ji Cheng unsheathed his sword into a horizontal line and several sword shadows appeared around him.

Hua Litong's expression turned serious when he saw some shadows around Ji Cheng's sword because it was sword intent! He never thought there would be anyone else who could understand sword intent other than Yang Chen at the age of sixteen.

Yang Chen's sword intent was heavily focused on the destructive power, but Ji Cheng's sword intent was only focused on speed because he strongly believed that speed was the core of a swordsman.

"Hhhh!" Ji Cheng let out a soft scream. His figure instantly disappeared and reappeared before Hua Litong. He pointed his sword forward and several shadows of his sword shot towards him.

Hua Litong had already guessed this. He formed a petal shield and used it to hold Ji Cheng's sword.

Layer by layer, Hua Litong's petal shield was destroyed by Ji Cheng. He forcefully poured out all his energy to strengthen his petal shield.

Yang Mengli saw this scene. He hurriedly took out a small dagger from his sleeve, then channeled energy into it and threw it at Ji Cheng's back.

"Hmmm!" Ji Cheng snorted and bowed his body to avoid the dagger.

Hua Litong took this opportunity to attack Ji Cheng and managed to force him back a few steps.

Buzzz—

While everyone was focused on the battle, the statue in the middle of the passageway suddenly moved backwards and the hidden passageway below was slowly visible before everyone.

"Sisters, get in!" Hua Litong thoughtlessly immediately shouted at Hua Wanru and the others, telling them to enter the passageway.

"Hold them!" Huo Ao shouted at his minions, but no one could react in time. Hua Litong's group had already entered the passageway.

"Follow them!" Huo Ao bellowed furiously and chased after Hua Litong's group along with his minions.

"Young Master, do we need to chase after them?" One of Ji Cheng's subordinates asked.

Ji Cheng pondered for a moment before replying, "Let's go. There might be treasure under there." After which, he brought Qi Tian'er and the others into the passageway.
