The Story of Children Pharmacy

The Story of Children Pharmacy
Chapter 65

Arani clapped his hands merrily as his cooking with his mama was finished and seduced on the dining table.

"Enak it seems," Reina commented staring at the pile of pempek and also the potato parchment.

"Hopefully Papa likes it too,"

His fatigue was replaced with results. His enthusiasm is mounting because soon Hadi will be home. The man does not know that Arani and Helen both went home sooner.

The sound of Helen's phone ringing distracts Arani. Coincidentally Arani's position was closer to his mother's phone, therefore he grabbed it.

"Papa's the phone" he told Helen, handing over the phone.

Helen immediately pressed the green button that was there.

"Hallo's? Assalamualaikum," he said to Hadi over there.

Helen activates the loudspeaker so that Arani can also listen.

"Waalaikumsalam, darling. I just wanted to let you know that I came home a little night. I have something to finish here,"

Arani immediately looked at her sad mother. His shoulders were broken when he heard his father's words. Arani did not think that Hadi came home much longer. Usually, the man does not force everything. But now Hadi chose to work in the office until a little night he said. This means that the food is cold and less lust anyone who wants to eat it.

"Arani has cooked for you, you know," replied Helen, making her husband change his mind.

"really? first meal for me, dong?"

Helen nodded even though Hadi did not see her. He could not bear to see the change in the usually radiant look of the face.

"You still want to go home at night? she was so excited about you, Pa," Helen said with eyes glancing at Arani who was now putting her head on the dining table. The girl immediately looked lethargic.

"Sorry, Ma. This job I can't delay. After everything's settled, I promise I'll go straight home,"

It's not just Arani. Helen was even disappointed with Radi who arguably did not appreciate the two of them. Is it as important as what the job is until they have to delay their time together?

Helen immediately turned off her phone without saying anything more. He sat down on the chair next to Arani and rubbed the top of his head affectionately.

"We pray that you can finish the job as soon as possible. Papa's also glad you're masakin,"

Arani. He did not hear it from Radi's mouth.

"Papa didn't say anything, Ma. His job is more important now than mine,"

Helen's heart ached a little to hear it. She did not expect that the girl would be this sad when she knew her papa would be home for longer.

"Hey don't say that, Arani! There is nothing more important than you. Mom and Dad love you, too,"

"But papa..."

Helen guides her son to get up and then pulls the corner of Arani's lips to smile.

"Papa's been busy, honey. Please understand papa, yes. As soon as possible papa will go home to try his child's first meal," comfort Helen on her first daughter.

Arani now smiled with a nod. All right, he's an adult. You have to be able to understand a small issue like this.

*********

"Don't ask for a door, Pa?"

"Papa's got the key,"

Helen patted her forehead slowly. He forgot about that.

"You haven't slept?"

"Yet, wait for you. If Arani is asleep,"

His wife's reply made Radi sigh regretfully. His daughter must be disappointed.

"Sure Arani sad. I'd like to apologize first,"

"No, he knows it. Now you eat, right? not dinner yet, is it?"

Helen glanced at the wall clock. It's nine o'clock in the evening. Radi's too busy to miss his dinner.

Radi nodded in spirit.

"I'll eat it first. You better get changed," suggested his wife by Radi.

The man walked straight to the room. To shower and change clothes. Radi was really tired today. But as much as possible, he did not complain. His duties have been outlined as such.

Radi smiled as soon as he came out of his toilet. He stared at his nightgown suit that was already on the bed. He did not know when his wife would prepare it. Clearly, Radi was happily treated that way by Helen.

"Arani has dinner? Ria too?” tanya Radi between her chewing mouth.

They just eat both. Because all the residents of the house had dinner first. Helen was waiting for her husband to come home to eat together.

"Udah, Dad. How's your job? fluently? it's kind of busy,"

Helen was not insinuating but Radi thought it was different.

"Sorry, Ma. Much more work," explained Radi briefly.

Helen just nodded because she didn't really understand the matter.

"Hopefully get better again" Helen said expectantly.

Radi wants that too. He does not want to dive too long in his busy life. Radu realized that lately his attention to Helen and Arani was reduced because of his extraordinary work.

"I'll fix everything,"

"I've always supported you,"

Seeing his wife's smile, Helen felt her energy to finish it all increased.

"Arani and Ria also support you,"

Radi nodded. After finishing his meal, he rubbed the top of his wife's head.

"You all support Papa. Always understand how Papa is doing. Thank you very much, if there are no you, do not know what life Papa. There is only work and work, a colorless life Papa without Mama, and children,”
