...♨♨♨...
Bass parked his shiny black car in the spacious yard. A moment after he came down, a woman greeted him kindly with a smile that did not disappear from the face. The woman was Sarah, Bass' mother whose face looked very motherly and sweet. Sarah's eyes display a blatant affection, seen as she faithfully waits for Bass to come home from school.
Bastian approached Sarah and walked in. They entered a large house with a clean white paint. The atmosphere of the living room is so majestic yet silent. Silence has become a daily food for Bass, so he chose to befriend people like his best friend to get rid of the silence. Enough of being a medicine for silence.
"Why haven't you gone home from work?" ask Bass while throwing the bag over the sofa.
Sarah shook her head, "Udah, wait in the dining room. We'll have lunch together, okay?"
Bass nodded then followed his mother leading to the kitchen. The man stepped up and found his father sitting at the dinner table. Their gazes met and Bass understood the intent of Bagas, his father.
Bastian sat down and held himself in the chair. Honestly, the thing he hated the most in the world was being reunited alone with his father. Surely much will come from the mouth of Bagas as well as from the heart Bass. Bagas free any bolang, while his son is free to berate even if only at the limit of the heart.
"What else did you get from school?" ask Bagas.
Bass turned to Sarah who came to bring three glasses of cold syrup and placed them in the middle of the available food. The woman's smile expanded again when she saw Bass glancing at her.
Indeed, in addition to the silence that became the main meal, there is also a smile Sarah.
"What's obrolin for?" Sarah sat in her chair opposite Bass.
"Come on Ma! Papa asked about what behavior Bass did today, thank God Bass did not do anything. Great right?"
"Seriously you?" bagas said sharply swooping at Bastian who answered his question very casually.
"But there's one thing, tomorrow my mom is invited to school to sign a letter. Letter of approval to participate in a music competition." Bass lies.
Sarah smiled broadly, "Deed, dear?"
"Yes Ma! Mama knows that Bass's musical talent has been sampled to Bastian's bones, but the problem is less support from—"
"Who's support?" snapping Bagas while hitting the dining table, making Sarah wide in shock. "Don't think Papa believes the same lie you did!"
"This is!" Bass grabbed a glass of water and looked at the clarity of the water. "Bass just said he wanted to run the race, but Dad snapped. There's no support at all."
"Get your manners Bass!" pekik Bagas again.
Sarah tried to restrain Bagas's predictable emotions from the red of his face. "Udah pa!"
"Udah ah! So let's say Bass's appetite!"
Bastian got up and turned and walked away from his parents. That's what Bass hates when he has to meet his father. To the extent that he always prayed that his father's business offers were increasing rapidly so that the man was too busy to be able to go home.
"Ga be polite!" yell Bagas once again.
Bass paused for a moment and looked at his father deeply, "Pa, Bastian just found out that there was a father who forbade his son to pursue his ideals."
The man continued his way to the room. After climbing the stairs that soared towards the top floor, the man arrived in front of his room. The spacious room becomes a nest for Bass to avoid Bagas, while Sarah must always be outside to remind Bass to eat or do chores.
For Bass, the nature of his father and mother is one hundred percent different. His mother was affectionate and gentle, supportive of everything Bass had and was always there for Bass. While his father turned around, did not allow Bass to follow his hobby of playing guitar. The old man also often gave directions interspersed with overflowing anger.
Don't ask why he hates his father. Actually not hate in the real sense, it's just that Bagas' nature makes him sick. So fed up.
Bass drowned himself in bed, then set a comfortable position to close his eyes. Perhaps tired of being happy with his friend, the scope of happiness he could not get in this house, when Bagas was still at home to stare at him vilely.
...***...
"Lo seriously this is his house?" asked Anggi while getting closer to Gladys who was standing across from Bass' house.
"Related! I have her address." replied Glad with confidence. He stared at the mansion without hesitation to get into even greater trouble than just being bullied by Bass.
Anggi took a breath with less confidence that after this he could still live a quiet life. Especially with the greatness of Bass, it might all happen. For example, Anggi cannot live in peace forever. Anggi wanted to pull Glad's hand away from the Bass house, but in vain. Glad's determination to make Bass Kapok very strong, while Anggi can only pray in silence.
Glad crossed the road and was followed by Anggi. They stood for a while in front of the gate and stared simultaneously at the stately home of Bass's parents. Perhaps wealth is one of the reasons why Bass is still being held in school despite doing a lot of work. Everyone knows what it means.
"Gue ain't sure we're alive tomorrow!" Anggi shook his head at Gladys.
"Stt" hiss Gladys. "We have to make him kapok before he gets us!"
"But Glad--"
"Udah!! Huh!! If you don't have the guts for the security guard nyamperin, let's wait in front and I love you!"
Anggi sighed resignedly, then his eyes drifted back to the tall house. While Glad approached the gate and peeked a little to see the situation of the security guard. Steady guy in white uniform.
"Excuse me!" shouted Gladys.
"Glad! Your voice was discovered by Bass!" pekik Anggi did not accept.
"This house is not a small warehouse that whispers a cry." Glad replied.
Gladys refocused as the security guard turned his head and walked towards him with light steps. From behind the iron gate he answered aloud.
"Yes what's wrong?"
"It's sir! I got a letter from school to Sebastian Prananda's parents. So we want this nitip for a favor!" Glad amplified his tone.
"It just so happens that the lady is at home, please just come in! Talk straight!" said the man.
Glad rounded his eyes then turned to Anggi who was also no less glaring. Like stating that he was right that this business would grow if Glad carried out the plan.
"Awhile sir! I'll see you first!" Gladys smiled then walked towards Anggi.
"Eh Anggi!" grumble Gladys. "We're going in. We're just gonna find our parents, and we're gonna keep running!"
"Don't be silly Glad!" Anggi frowned in annoyance. "As long as we have time to go now, yes we go."
"Please make up your mind!" Gladys took a deep breath.
"And you're sure you're telling me the torn paper has been glued to it?"
"And let's tell you that Bass ripped the paper! Yes, if you can, I'll go in by myself, okay!"
"Ga it's Glad! But yes, yes!" Anggi resigned after trying to find out what luck did this.
Gladys smiled triumphantly then pulled Anggi's hand firmly. Actually, he was afraid that what was predicted by Anggi was right, but he also did not accept that they had to be victims of the Bass threat. Bass can't be that way.
"Sattack sir!" Gladys. "We want to see Bass's parents?"
The security guard nodded then opened the gates for Gladys and Anggi. Both of them entered and looked at the building in admiration. Vast, majestic, tall, and so awesome in the eyes of Glad and Anggi. Then they looked at each other, and shook their heads in admiration.
"Gue was surprised, that the rich Bass gini means he can get what he dreamed. Why does he have a mental disorder?" Gladys smiled crisply.
"Gue was also astonished, but it was the same wonder you who suddenly contracted to go crazy!" nyinyir Anggi leads to Gladys.
The security guard walked through such a large courtyard. Then entered the mansion and the two girls waited on the terrace. The house does look very beautiful with a garden decorated with water showers in the middle. It's really awesome that Anggi doesn't wonder why Bass vehicles change every day.
"Quiet Anggi! Bass ain't coming out! At most he again dabbled together with temen weird n dumb. Aye right?"
Anggi nodded originally, then stunned as the shadow of two people vaguely followed from the arrival of the security guard. The old man smiled and a man in a full suit and a woman with a very sweet face smiled at them.
"What's up?" Sarah looked at Glad and Anggi alternately.
"Eh aunt om!" Gladys crucified the two and was followed by the trembling Anggi.
Believe that in Anggi's heart there is only one prayer at this time. That is so that Bass does not come out and find out that he is there. It could be bad if it happened. Anyway don't get it!. His feet were already hot if only the man looked from the point of view, he could run strong and drag Glad.
"So gini aunt om, we want to give you a letter from the office of BK. Call letter to Bass' parents!" Gladys gave the letter to Bagas.
Bagas stared at the letter in surprise, while Sarah began to worry about what would happen next. Sarah's silent face, silent in a thousand languages. Just like Anggi whose fear has not changed at all since then.
"But my paper is glue om, because it was torn as Bass kept dumped, I quote because I was told to be with Bu Ani!" gladys.
Bagas opened the envelope slowly, grabbed the paper and opened it. He quickly read to the core of the letter that had already reached his hand. Suddenly Bagas' face flushed and squeezed the paper firmly. Sarah who was aware of it became pangling.
"Bastian! Bass! Bastian!" shout Bagas strong.
"Pa! We'll talk later!" Sarah tried to restrain Bagas whose face began to emit emotions.
"Engga! Call Bastian now! Bass!" screeches again.
Gladys and Anggi looked at each other. Their hearts seemed to explode in an instant. Both of them rounded their eyes almost making their eyeballs out of place. Lothawat! So bad!
"Then we say yes, auntie!" Gladys ends the meeting.
With lightning Glad pulled Anggi's hand away from the place. The courtyard was so vast as to make it difficult for Gladys to advance beyond the gate. Fortunately the two got outside of that page as quickly as possible, leaving Bass not to see them again. The two girls took a spot behind the tree to see what was about to happen.
"Gue said what, Bass ain't gonna see us!" Gladys boasted of his estimate.
Anggi can only nod while stroking the chest. His heart could not stop beating because it was tired of running and was afraid of dying. But his eyes looked towards the house. From behind the tree trunk they swerve inward.
Moments when Bagas called Bass out with his face. Just now he had managed to close his eyes and fall asleep, but the noisy voice woke the man from a nap that was able to make his heart relax. At least the subconscious brought Bass's soul away from Bagas.
"You are so insolent!" one slap from Bagas landed on Bass' left cheek.
"Pa! Huh!" sarah shouted loudly.
Bass held her cheek in annoyance and was still thinking why Bagas suddenly slapped her so badly. "What else is it?"
"You need to be slapped or shackled! You're a liar, again! What do you want to be in the future? Stubborn?" Bagas looked at Bass sharply, then showed the summons to his son. "Here you say call to nandaganin your race letter?"
"Udah Pa! Huh!" Sarah held Bagas back from raising her hand again.
"Let's ma! Let papa know that his son is not for life! Let him know that Bass is a gini 'cause Bass is a loser!" Bass puts on a disappointed face to Sarah.
Bagas shook his head, then went inside the house leaving Sarah and Bass. Sarah approaches Bass and embraces the taller man, her beloved son. Tears began to pour down Sarah's cheeks, while Bass could only silently glance at her mother. This is a common thing Bass sees. One week wouldn't have passed if there hadn't been anything like this.
"Sorry Bass ma!" said slowly.
"Ga papa dear, papa you are just an emotion! Now you're changing clothes?" said Sarah saw the uniform that was still attached to the body of the child. They walked in together leaving a deserted terrace.
While Anggi and Glad can only mangap in front. It feels like watching a sadistic drama about children who lack affection. The title can be made up and made into 'My Son Is a Liar'. They still can not divert attention from the incident so that Anggi must take a blank forward. Imagine what really happened.
"Is it because of us?" ask Anggi wonder.
"No!" elaq Gladys. "That's because of her nature! I'm sure he won't bother us tomorrow."
"He's that stubborn Glad!"
"Ga might still be like that if you've been yelled rich earlier! At some point she can't change?"
Anggi nodded slowly then darted following Glad who had walked first to leave the mansion. Maybe Anggi was sorry, but Glad was happy and relieved.
