THE SOUTHEAST EARTH FIRE GOD SWORD

THE SOUTHEAST EARTH FIRE GOD SWORD
PART 15'S

The villages of La Kalimone and La Alo Salaka are not far from the foot of Mount Sorowua. It only takes a drink of coffee the trip the three have arrived. The village was called Kandunggu. A fairly large and dense settlement. Of course, the presence of La Kalimone and La Alo Salaka became the attention of almost all residents in his village. It is not uncommon actually a pair of lovers who just do the running back again in a short time. However, the villagers have been able to receive good, because they already know the news from the family of La Alo Salaka who came home from the chase earlier. And what is even more encouraging for the girl's family is that La Mudu has really kept his promise to bring back the two lovers. As is customary, the two are brought back to the girl's family. La Kalimone, as the prospective male bride, will immediately live in the family environment of his future wife, until the wedding day.

Excellent welcome was given by both families, his family La Kalimone and the family La Alo Salaka, to La Mudu. For several days La Mudu guaranteed all its needs. And it was in this village that La Mudu for the first time felt alive among other humans. There were so many things he had never seen or heard, he saw and heard. Especially when it comes to the pulse of life in this village, which among its citizens looks like a big family. From sources of livelihood, especially as farmers, this village should prosper. They have a vast and watery rice field, making them able to plant and harvest rice and rice crops throughout the year. So it is not surprising that the rice barns that stand on almost every home page of the population all look not upright anymore due to always never empty by agricultural products, especially rice.

"If we were not burdened by taxes from two directions, maybe our lives were indeed very prosperous, Jawara," La Kalimone told La Mudu one afternoon, when the two were enjoying the scenery on the edge of a vast expanse of rice fields greened by rice plants.

"Bid-way tax how do you mean, Kalimone?" asked La Mudu with a look of astonishment.

"Yes, Jawara" said La Kalimone. "In addition to taxes on the kingdom, we are also burdened again by a much heavier tax on the head of the Sovereign Sangia. Actually, the tax on the ruler of Sangia is a wild tax, because they are thieves. But yeah what else. We are just a weak people who have no power to resist. Opposing them means lives will be lost."

The face of La Mudu was raised when he heard the name La Afi Sangia mentioned by La Kalimone. So he asked, "What is the ruler of Sangia that you mean is Afi Sangia, a man who has the title Sangaji Afi ?"

La Kalimone looked at the surrounding area first before replying with a lowered voice. "Yes, Jawara. That is the title of the ruler of Sangia. But we dare not say his name out loud, because everywhere he has a confidant as his spy. The government was powerless to destroy them. That's why we have to pay whatever tax we have to hand over to them."

Hearing that name La Mudu's blood instantly boiled. The anger in his heart bubbled. His jawbone protruded along with the sound of his teeth grinding. Remember the story of his teacher, Dato Hongli, about the savagery of black characters against his family, at that moment he wanted to immediately destroy it.        But he must also take the advice of his teacher, that he should use calculation in every action, and should not act rashly, even in seemingly trivial matters. Because the death of a person just because he likes to act rashly, and sometimes just because it is only caused by things that seem trivial.

But on the other hand, as part of the victims of the savagery of La Afi Sangia, La Mudu is still a weak man to refrain from the grudges that burn in his heart. A grudge that he must overcome! "Afi Sangia...!" the words on his lips. "You're running rampant!" The wooden branch he was holding was involuntarily broken and squeezed into pieces.

La Mudu's behavior was slowly noticed by La Kalimone. At that time the thought of this village youth immediately worked, and estimated that the young man beside him had affairs with the ruler of Sangiang Island. "Emm, sorry, Jawara..," said La Kalimone in a hesitant voice.

"Eh, yes. What's up, Kalimone?" La Mudu replied with a bit of shock and realization.

La Mudu did not immediately reply, but rather looked at the eyes of the young man beside him without blinking. Then he let out a long sigh while turning his gaze forward, then asked back, "You can hold a secret, Sahe?"

"I, Jawara? Sure do. Jawara asked the right person!"

"I know. I just want to make sure" said La Mudu. "You also have the talent to be a great leader, Kalimone."

"So the leader, Jawara?" La Kalimone even messed up while scratching his head with long hair. "If I doubt myself, Jawara. If it's the first thing, my life could be his guarantee."

"Sometimes to see and judge ourselves, we need the eyes of others to see, Kalimone. You have the character and stature of a leader. Because only real leaders are capable of holding secrets!"

Once again La Kalimone scratched his non-itchy head, as if he was trapped by his own side of confession. "But, Jawara, perhaps.not enough of that trait alone to become a leader or a candidate leader, there is still one thing to have. Even one thing it became the main capital, especially in the atmosphere of the country as it is today."

      "What's that?"

"self strength. Eng, I mean, must be someone who has this magic like Jawara."

La Mudu looked over and smiled. "Truely you say, Kalimone, though completely mistaken," said La Mudu. "The "notes are innate to every human being, and cannot be changed. Like pariah with its bitter taste, or chili with its spiciness, and sugar cane with its sweet taste. It felt like that was their respective disposition that they had received from beginning to end. It means it can't be changed anymore. While the ability of self, science, and others can be changed and learned. It means that the ability and strength of the self that you mean you can learn, Kalimone."

La Kalimone nodded slowly, permeating what the young man beside her said. "Because of our weakness we have been unable to do anything about the injustice against us, as the people of La Afi Sangia have done. We are treated like animals. Yeah, what else, Jawara Mudu."
