THE SOULMATE FROM HELL

THE SOULMATE FROM HELL
12. ELEVEN

The afternoon came. Betari is focusing on reading their first web series mini script—which is only about five minutes ago finished written by Dadung and directly submitted to him and Lala. While Lala who just read it at a glance immediately did not like it.

Lala and Dadung then argue fiercely. While Betari who sat between the two did not intend to break up. He continued to read the script until it was finished, then placed the tablet in his hand onto the table. Along with that his phone which was also on the table clinked, indicating there was a message coming in.

Betari never ignored every message that came in, fearing that something was important. He then caught a glimpse of his phone screen flashing.

From unknown number: I have arrived.

Both eyebrows Betari had linked. Before completely ignoring the strange message from that foreign number. He hates stray messages especially messages from online loans and the like, or from unclear men whose intentions want to pedekate, his number will auto he block. Betari before if approached by a man is not clear or who is not his type.

“Gue loves lo script, Dung.” said Betari later, still sitting leaning on his chair.

Lala caught a winning grin on Dadung's face as Betari said her sentence earlier.

“Neither lo, Bet. Bad script is what time you like?!” lala protest. “This is our first project, Bet. We should make the best dong.”

“Ya, so you first read the script until it runs out.” said Betari. Actually he knew the reason Lala didn't like the script.

Betari admitted that Dadung really intended to invite Lala noisily.

“No need.” reject Lala.

“Kok, no need, anyway?” ask Betari rhetorically. “Then you can't dong at will say that the script is ugly.”

“Tuh, dengerin, La.” said Dadung scorned Lala.

“What do not-do lo baper?” seda Betari later. Obviously he's on Dadung's side. Not only because the script is really good and interesting. But, he also wanted to help the man.

Lala who was about to walk towards the pantry stopped her steps and turned around. “Gue baper?! That's right, dong, Bet.” he said a bit sewot.

“Well, how do you sewot?!” reply Betari. “Say lo baper right?”

“Ngak lah.” by Lala. “Laper, hell, yes.”

“Come, guys we eat meatballs Mr. Kriting! I treattir” said Dadung excited to everyone. He also stood up from his chair.

“Wah! Seriously mas Dadung want to buy us?” ask Hasra.

“Mas Dadung again birthday, yes?” sahut Malik's. Because Dadung very rarely want to treat his friends, except Lala.

“Ngak, anyway. Just happy with me.” Dadung replied with a mysterious smile. “Come, hunt for meatballs.”

“Siap, Mas.” sahut Hasra and Malik together.

“Yuk, yuk! When else will I be treated with Dadung.” exclaimed Betari and then stood up while reaching for his phone from the table.

At that time the Betari phone again clinked and lit up. A message from the same foreign number came back in. He skimmed the message: I'm waiting for you in the lobby.

“Lo is boss, Bet! Pay yourself, yes.” said Dadung jokingly.

Betari ignored the message, and chose to answer Dadung. “Yes, erah! Don't be stingy with me, Dung. Grave lo narrow tofu taste.”

“Come, mbak Lala!” Tina pulled Lala—'s arm which was currently becoming even more irritated. He hated that shitty Dadung, especially his smile. Lala hates seeing Dadung smile. He hated it even more that Dadung and Betari conspired to corner him, as they are today.

“Gue is not coming.” Lala told Tina.

“If you do not follow means indirectly you ngaku, if you baper the same script he wrote, dong.” seduced Betari with a mocking smile.

“Lo can not change the theme.” said Lala, walking closer to Betari. “Abaan try the story is not over yet? Lo the same Dadung must be intentionally right?”

“Emang whose love story is not over just mbak Lala sama mas Dadung, doang?” kesya Chirps.

“Bu same boss Pak Vino is also not finished.” continued Tina, which was immediately glared at by Kesya.

“Ups, lekkeplosan.” Tina reflexively smothered her own mouth with her hands. Then apologise to Betari. “Sorry, Boss.”

“Casual, Tin. I'm not kayaking Lala.”

“Yes, obviously you're not baper. Dadung did not write the same story lo si Vino.” upset Lala on Betari.

“Mbak Lala if still love the same mas Dadung, why not reverse it, anyway?” tina Blunt.

“Know, nih! Lala's Mommy. Dadung mas ngajakin back it up. But still do not want.” timpal Kesya.

“Ihh, mbak Lala, how the hell. Later if dragged by someone else new nyesel loh.” said Tina Geregetan.

“Shut up on!” angry Lala.

“That's just angry.” exclaimed Betari, who then invited the three women to immediately follow Dadung and others.

When Betari reached the lobby with her three men, she was shocked by her husband's figure.

And immediately Betari cursed herself.

Damnit damnit!

By the Most Merciful God. Betari, who had always been praised by his men as having above average memory, felt very stupid now. Somehow he could forget about the man's lunch invitation.

Umbara Atmojo was talking to the head of the building he occupied as a studio it—right next to the lobby exit— suddenly turned around and called his name. “From!”

The heart rate stopped for a second. Umbara Atmojo—sang husband looked at her straight.

Oh, my god!

Betari was immediately panicked. He was not ready to accept all the bad possibilities.

From behind his back, Betari could hear Tina whispering to Kesya. “Who? Her new boyfriend's boss, huh? Very similar to Chris Evans.”

While Lala who was walking beside him gently nudged his left arm. “New girlfriend, Lo?” he half whispered.

Betari turned to Lala with glaring eyes, telling her to shut up.

Before things get messy. Because he knew the mouths of his three men could not be silent.

Betari approached her husband and led him away.

...***...

If you know the husband will bring him to eat at this restaurant. Betari will refuse outright rather than agree to it by throwing a million words of meaning that are more often used by women—including himself and open today only— to make the men restless until excessive headaches—whatever, the magic word that could be going to produce something fun or even vice versa, irritating—as he got this time.

“Welcome to Emprit Gold.” A young and beautiful woman greeted them with a smile. Then show an empty table near the fish pond.

I want Betari to protest. He has a myriad of protest sentences ready to slide from his mouth—like...

Why come here anyway?

Should I eat here?

Is there no other place?

Or, or,

I don't eat Javanese food.

Or, or,

That doesn't mean you have to come here too!

Or, or,

I don't want to remember the past anymore.

But , Betari lazy noisily.

Golden Emprit has long been on Betari's blacklist. Not because the cuisine is not good, or, the service is not good. But... Resto with joglo building that sells typical Javanese food.... Ah, nevermind! Betari hated that she had to remember the memories with that person. Hearing his name just called already made his ears hurt.

A waiter approached. “Good day, is it comfortable sitting?”

Umbara did not see the menu book at all and directly mentioned the order. “Nasi gudeg krecek egg chest.”

“What do you want to order?” ask Umbara.

“Gue equals aja.” His hunger was gone nowhere.

“Gue pee first.” part. Then it passed to the bathroom which was clearly located he memorized.

In the bathroom after urinating, Betari stood in front of the sink and turned on the faucet to wash her hands.

“Hayoo! Someone made their own vows, huh?”

Betari looked in shock, unaware that there was someone standing behind her. She turned around and found her Starly Tan— friend since college days smiling mischievously.

“So, you guys back up?” guess it.

“Najis!” Betari hissing slowly.

“Iih, disappointed dong me.” said with a disappointed expression made-up. “Keet lo why dong here?”

“Eat. Why again.”

“Heh, instead of you saying yourself, uh, no, but you made a vow that time if you will not come here again forever.”

“Gue forced.”

“Masa, anyway, forced?” reply Starly. “Forced samperin manta because still like kangen.” godanya later.

“It is very clear how lo. I first.”

“Ok, see you, Baby!” Starly Tan waved spoiled. “Don't forget to come to my birthday next week.”

“Noted.”

Betari leaves the bathroom and rushes back only to find her husband talking to a teenager in a gray white uniform.

“Om Bara, who is he?” the white-gray teenager asked as soon as he realized the presence of Betari pulling the chair in front of them.

“Wife om.” Umbara replied very calmly.

“Wife?” the teenager almost screamed. He looked back and forth at Umbara and Betari.

Meanwhile, Betari who realized something and was basically ignorant smiled very sweetly to the girl while greeting her kindly. But, totally ignored. Funnier.

“Om when is marriage?! Kok I don't know.” he said angrily.

“Salah itself you even go to America with your mother, so do not know if you are married.” Baron Adiningrat came to their table.

“Kok papa didn't tell me, anyway. Nyebelin.” said again with anger. His hands were folded in front of his chest, while his pouting face was turned away from his father.

Betari could not bear to laugh. Fucking kid...
