Chapters 11. Nobles Secret

“If Breh Kidang the gatekeeper of the mystical world then the Council of Pahem Atmadeva is the gatekeeper of the human world. Nobles and knights are his soldiers. Their task was one of preventing monsters with great power from coming out and messing up the world in the southeast region. They have special powers. There are Element Controllers, Space Manipulators, Illusory Experts, Potions Experts, Time Controllers, Weapons Experts, Mind Manipulation, Regeneration, Body Exchanges, Form Transformers, and others. Anna Manyun looked disappointed.

Slowly Ega peeked out the bush and saw a monster crawling three meters from their hiding place.The monster was a blackish brown, waist down like a centipede, it has many brownish red legs while the waist is up like a human, with a pair of hands that have long claws. His face was like a human but had no hair and was flat and strangely enough, he wore glasses. Her lips were red, whether she was wearing blood as lipstick or had just eaten a human. The first one makes more sense.

 

The monster crept with its many legs, passing through where they were hiding. Behind him was a man in a green t-shirt and jeans floating faintly in a half-kneeling position and his hands stretched backwards. Ega estimates that the human is one of the civilians who entered the portal with Anna. Anna gripped Ega's hand.

“I know him. He's Mess, my friend,” whispered Anna after the monster went past them.

“Do you think he's alive?” asked Anna worriedly.

“I guess he's alive. Monsters won't bring the dead,” Ega answered with a little confidence.

“Where will he take her?” ask Anna.

“I don't know, but it's a monster belonging to a witch,” replied Ega who this time his confidence increased by one teaspoon.

“We have to save him!” take Anna.

Anna owes her life to Mess. It was he who forced Anna to carry a backpack and fasten her seatbelt to her seat. Without it all Anna would have been dead.

“Come!We follow him then!” bring Ega. “You stay near me, Anna!”

They followed the monster silently. Trust me, following a monster in the mist is no good. But they do it too. The fog reduced their visibility. So they have to get a little closer but not too close so that their presence is unknown to the monster. Real hard.

They saw the monster heading towards the intersection. The road is two-sided. The monster stopped for a moment. The fog grew thicker and blocked the view. They drew closer to the intersection in order to see which way the monster went. But like a magician, the monster disappeared with its captives. Anna and Ega panic, running to the intersection. The monster wasn't there.

“Where do they go?” Anna asked Ega.

“I don't know, my view was blocked by fog earlier,” replied Ega who was just as blind as Anna.

Anna considered where the monster was taking Mess. He tried to look for clues footprints, pieces of clothing or anything that could be the monster's thrust, but nil. He had no idea where the monster was going.

As the fog grew more dense, Anna felt her hair standing up, something approaching her from behind. He looked at Ega and thought he felt the same way. Ega clasped Anna's hand and together they looked back.

“Surprise!" the monster grinned behind them. So ugly.
