The Widow of Bohay
9 To
I kept daydreaming while occasionally staring out the car glass. Darkened. That's all I caught.
For a second I saw a shadow of a white cloth hanging from a tree. "Dam!" I shudder, horrified. It is strange to see those whose incident is with me actually hanging on a tree. Uh not the same! I am still half human. I started smiling to myself because of the daydream.
"Why, Mommy?" ask Gibran.
"Ah .. engak," I said. He raised an eyebrow looking at my response, staring with a strange look. Then ignore and talk to Adrian. I threw my face to the side near the bag just looking for the right place to daydream. Afraid that Gibran got to me again and thought I was out of my mind.
"Where down, Ma'am?" ask Adrian.
I'm spreading my eyes out the glass. I have arrived in the village.
"Front yes, Bang. Block D," I asked Adrian.
"Okay, Ma'am."
He continued to run the car and dropped me off when I got to where I asked.
Here huh, Ma'am?"
"He-it." I left the bag and immediately got out of the car. Adrian opens the windshield and smiles at me. Not yet Adrian talk, Gibran spontaneously interjected. "Be careful, Ma'am" he said with one eye.
"Eddeh, greenery, Lu!" Adrian grumbled while lip-sucking.
"Yes, be careful too. Thanks a lot for the ride."
"Sama-sama, Ma'am," they said. "I'm sorry, Ma'am. Mary ...."
"Yes, come on, Mas!" I waved my hand as I continued to stare at the car until there was a shadow.
I got up from the stand after I made sure Adrian's car was out of sight.
Along the way I kept massaging the sore shoulders. Maybe because of the bounce.
Kusukuri the dark path with the cold. No more people passing by, completely deserted. Maybe because it was late at night.
I stared at the clock that was coiled around my wrist. Sure enough, it turned out to be twenty-three past fifty. It's been almost twelve o'clock. The patrol post that was seen crowded in the contents of the five residents now looks lonely. Only the lights still faithfully lit up every twenty meters.
I walked over to the post, made sure it was completely deserted.
One step at a time I walk up to three meters. I squinted my eyes. There are five pairs of legs at the end of the terrace. Also heard the sound of someone patting hard part of his body.
Looks like tonight the patrols are fast asleep. Only sometimes awaken when bitten by a small insect vampire bloodsucking. Okay fine! It's time for me to get back into action.
I hurried to the house of Reot. Like the nights before. I'm back in action looking for prey all night and back before dawn. Though it wasn't the collapsed duren party I got. But it can at least reduce a little thirst.

I went back to selling that morning. Wrestling with hot teapots and pans. Various wet snacks have been presented in three containers. "Finished," I murmured after the berberes.
I left a bag untouched since last night. Trying to find my six inch flat screen. But apparently, it wasn't there. "Where is that thing?" muttered.
A second later my eyes were fixed on the group of gossip mums who looked rowdy in front there. I see they're busy fighting mouth. Maybe it's about Juki.
The mothers seemed to be in an uproar when the news about Mas Juki had reached their ears. And then I saw three women coming towards my stall, chirping.
"What time?" One of them asked with a dumbfounded expression of disbelief. I kept wiping the table, pretending not to listen.
"Yes, Jeng. Really! Si Juki was in a coma, but now she's dead!"
The deg!
My eyes widened. I moved my body towards the road. Putting the ear properly, so that what I hear is not hoax news.
"Certainly? How is he doing now?"
"He is .. just dumb, when I ask no questions, like a daze like that. Keep going, she suddenly screamed. I think I have a mental disorder!"
'Soul disturbance?' I sat there, trying to digest the woman's words.
A second later I woke up. The woman's answer made me rub my chest. Ahh relieved it feels. Relieved because of course the Juki can not tell the same citizens about the actual events that happened to him.
"That's a fucking yak."
"Yes! The doctor said, I think there's something traumatizing him."
"Consider." They shuddered in horror.
"His dear. No eyewitness saw the incident directly, which made him so traumatized." They talk while putting on an empathetic face.
"Pity of his wife. From yesterday the moody continues!"
Shift views. Pretending not to pay attention when they have arrived in front of the stall.
"Ti, fry wrap fifteen thousand!" pinta Mak Ijah with a sullen face.
"You're using petes, Mom!" Friendly I offered him.
"Well, Ti. How the hell!" ketus Mak Ijah's. I smiled wryly. Upset, but I still wrapped the order.
"This, Mak!" I put the plastic containing fried foods. He placed a sheet of valuable paper with purple and orange patterns on the table.
"Thank you, Ti!" the hatch then passed. I stared at his back which kept away, getting smaller and then vanished from sight.
Fouh!
I sat in a small plastic chair with a made in Indo logo. I exhaled a rough breath. Bored. My war was still quiet. Only Mak Ijah stopped by, the mood-destroying bitch.
Then for a second I was surprised when a car horn rang twice right on the side of the road seven meters from the stall.
I squinted my eyes, watching the license plate number. Like I've seen before.
"Adrian?!" I was amazed, between joy and shame. Immediately I stood up from this soft seat to greet him. I don't know what the red cheeks are. If only there was a mirror in front, I would be ashamed to see my face.
He came closer and sat in a long chair smiling at me. "Coffee one yes, Neng!" her door. I smiled shyly, I gave her a thumbs up. "Okay, Bang." I'll make her coffee order soon.
"Tumben stopped by here, Bang?" ask me in between the busyness.
"It's okay, I'm the same. Can't you?"
"Yes, you can, Bang." I seem to be feeling groggy. It was clear from the sound of a glass blowing when I tried to clean up.
'Damn it! She slab so much she said!' my inner. "Abang ith. Shameful to you." He even laughed.
"Oh, so gini Eneng's appearance if it's a sale" he said. His eyes began to roll around. Look at every corner of this little shop. "The taste is good, Neng." Then his eyes returned to me.
"Thank you, Bang. Yes, this is my everyday life." I answered with embarrassment. Shame because of my slightly coiled appearance, plus a table cloth that turned out to still be stuck in the shoulder. He fell thinly while closing his hands to his lips and then chuckled. 'Oh my goodness, it's so sweet in droves!'
"Well, Neng?"
"Yes, that's a little bit of a whim." I put the coffee on the table.
"Thank you, Neng."
"Together, Bang." For a second he was still looking at me. Whether it's a stare, fascinated or something, I don't know.
"Drink atuh, Bang, coffee."
He choked. "Oh yes, until you forget that the coffee is ready," he said again chuckled.
I replied with a small laugh that I made as sweet as possible.
"Where's this thing from? Looks like you're not here, are you?" my many.
"Yes, Neng. Brother here is only a two-day assignment."
"Oh. Duty! What assignment, Bang?"
"Please keep Eneng."
"Eleeh, you're a dreadlocks."
"He he, no, Neng. Brother again Audit duty."
"Oooh Audits! Uhh, what's the audit, Bang?"
"Aaa .. rather difficult Neng explained."
"That's it, Bang?"
"Gum." He nodded while sipping coffee. "Oh yes, Neng want to not follow the road brother? Coincidentally today's job is done."
"Seriously, you want to take the Eneng road? Where are you going?" many enthusiast.
"Seriously, Neng. To my brother's office."
I'm dumbfounded. "Huh? To my brother's office, what do you want?"
"Get the friends. Let's just hang out at the cafe."
"Oah, Bang. Kirain, what do you want to do to the office?" I'm laughing a little. He replied with a louder laugh.
"Udah parno first huh?"
"Yes, it's over, brother." I said embarrassed. He came back laughing.
"Yes already. Close the stall first."
"OK on, Bang. Wait a minute."
"Yes, Neng. Would you like to help me?"
"May deh!"
The man stood up and began to move. He seems to be the kind of loving man. Even he himself did not hesitate to help my spare change.
When we finished, we finally left in Adrian's car. I opened the car glass just looking for fresh air. Can't breathe air from the car's air conditioner. Adrian finally shuts off the cooler.
A western song by Jessie J. Actually I don't like it. Just pretend to enjoy the music.
I see Adrian enjoying it. Seen his head slightly mangosteen with a kamit komat mouth following the lyrics of the song. Slowly he sings, maybe because his voice is flat so do not dare to sing with a loud tone.
It was quite a trip we took to get into the city. Adrian turned his vehicle into the parking area. Strange, I feel something is wrong.
He entered the parking area of the Hospital. Didn't he say he was going to the office? His office in the Hospital. What the hell is he really doing?
"Why are we marking here?"
"Would you do it for a second, Neng?"
"Who's it going, Bang? Is anyone else sick?"
"It's not my brother's family, Neng. But Juki's Mas."
"What?!"
Hearing his words, it shocked me half.
"Congratulations, Neng? Kan Abang who nabrak. Brother I have responsibility."
"But, Bang."
"Yes, you know!"
"Don't know what?"
His words made me even more tense. ' Did he know my secret?'
"And last night Eneng said she almost got raped by Juki." I kept staring at him.
"No offense, Neng. Eneng business with Mas Juki later we will serve after Mas Juki realized. Okay!" I just nodded. Don't know what to comment.
'Oh, it turns out, he remembered what I said last night. I even forgot to lie to her by saying I was almost raped.
"Let's go down, Neng come with Brother first. Kasian Eneng was alone in the car."
"Ta-but, Bang."
"Ladaah! Ayoook!" Adrian pulled my hand. Forcing me to come with him.
Gluey!
Lothawat! Hopefully, Mas Juki did not suddenly remember the incident last night! Fuck shit shit!
